Lamphey Hall HotelUpper Lamphey Road, Lamphey, SA71 5NR Pembroke (Show map) Excellent, Score from 72 reviews“Wonderful staff, and very cozy room with newly upgraded private bath. Short dirve to castle and to Tenby. Superb food.”

Lamphey Hall is a traditional, quiet country-house hotel with a lively bistro bar and friendly, professional staff. The family-run hotel is on the Tenby-to-Pembroke road. All rooms are individually designed and decorated, and being refurbished to a high standard. The bistro is set on lush grounds and has an excellent lunch and evening menu. Lamphey Hall is convenient for the ferry, Texaco and refineries, and numerous tourist attractions. Hotel Rooms: 12

Our stay at Lamphey Hall Hotel although short was excellent. The staff were very friendly and the facilities were brilliant. The atmosphere at the hotel makes it feel like a home away from home. Something that is lacking at a lot of hotels these days. I will be recommending this hotel to my family and friends as I know that they will be looked after to a very high degree to all at the Lamphey Hall Hotel. We are now looking forward to our next stay at this exemplary hotel

The room was tidy but the decor was tired and in need of refreshing the bathroom ensuite was poor and not clean, there was material in the toilet bowl which had not been flushed properly and after flushing still had stains in it, the washhand basin was dirty and the cold tap was not secure when turning the tap off the whole assebley rotated 90 deg. I chose the al-acarte menu which offered a starter of "Fresh Olives served with homemade bread and leaves, what arrived was actually a bowl of "Antipasta" which consisted of around 40% Olives the rest was made up of sundried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and onions, all the above were preserved not Fresh, abeit pleasent to eat not what was described in the menu. The main "Serloin steak" was good and cook as requested. To finish I ordered a coffee which arrived from the kitchen and when I asked if it was instant I was told it was "Filtered" it had no taste!

Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room. Good food and beer. Free wi- fi. Nice to be able to use the room's lockable french windows as a private entrance to the hotel. Our room was on the ground floor and was rather noisy at times due to the proximity of the main entrance and the reception. This is probably more down to the fact that other guests seem completely oblivious to the fact that bedrooms are located there, despite there being room numbers on the doors.

The staff were very friendly. The hotel was nice. Although we stopped with our two young children and I didn't think it was really suitable for us as a family. We had a couple of mix ups with our room. Although sorted by the staff, it was hassle we could have done without. On arrival. We were told our room wasn't available. Due to others extending their stay. We were given the apartment ( not charged anymore). I think we should have been asked first if this was ok before they decided to give our booked room away. The apartment was ok but not thoroughly clean. Noise from hotel utility room next door. Wouldn't stay again.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly nothing was too much trouble. Watch out for the Lamphey Hall breakfast, you will not need to eat for the rest of the day, it was freshly cooked and excellent. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable.

Lovely staff, dog-friendly ( though a bit of a steep charge for this ), great location and overall quite good value. Restaurant promised a lot but didn't really deliver, but there was plenty of other places to eat close by. Great breakfasts and decent beer. Overall very relaxing and quiet, and a most enjoyable stay, though the shower could have been more powerful and the ( single ) beds and bed linen a bit better quality.

Very friendly staff, beautiful decor and superb food. As my room was next to the front door, it was rather noisy when restaurant guests were leaving late at night.

A very friendly and comfortable country hotel. Not a complaint, but I felt that £55 for a single room was a little high

The staff were very attentive. The food was first class and the staff in the restaurant were very cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautiful and had some lovely period pieces. I had the best night's sleep in the most comfortable bed despite the high wind and torrential rain outside

Large comfortable rooms with nice bathrooms.Very nice comfortable restaurant and bistro room. The hotel has a lot of character and the food served was excellent with generous portions. Outstanding breakfast. Very comfotable beds. The strongest quality of the hotel are the staff who were excellent. The rooms are large and comfortable. The decoration is in keeping with the era of the hotel but here and there is possibly in need of some updating. The staff made up for anything though.

Staff were kind enthusiastic and friendly however the room was in need of refurbishment, squeeky bed and in need of a good clean up overall, the food however was very good. Smelt of cats and as mentioned sqeeuky bed with decor in need of a spruce up.
