Large, comfortable room with beautiful furnishings and canopy bed. Beautiful furnishings. Clean and lovely. Information on historic home and nearby points of interest available for guests.
Everything was very good
Cottage was good quality and although quite remote centrally located
The roads were closed at 8am on our checkout day due to the iron man competition it meant we had to vacate at 7.30am on a sunday morning. Wifi comes from main house no signal at all in cottage
lovely old house in beautiful grounds. Owner very pleasant. He cooked an excellent breakfast. very peaceful.
nothing to dislike
warm welcome. lovely room and location. would recommend to anyone
Interesting house and comfortable room
Slightly melancholy atmosphere and the shower control was useless.
Self catering was suitable for a family good space
No hot water for morning shower. Lock to back door did not lock properly.
Lovely location. Pet friendly. Good price.
Just returned from a short stay in the Carthouse cottage at Lamphey Park. A self catering two bed cottage. Nice size with a good sized kitchen in a lovely quiet area. The cottage is in need of some internal paintwork. There was a leak from the kitchen sink which I am sure will be addressed before the next occupants arrive. Both Mr and Mrs Davies welcomed us upon arrival. Full English breakfast was offered at a small price which we accepted and it was very nice. Mr Davies worked hard to keep everyone happy with breakfast options.
Location Decor of the room Made to feel welcome Views from the room Nice atmosphere Free Wifi Helpful staff
Flies in room to be expected due to country location, staff helpful fly spray cured the problem.
Nearly everything! lovely countryside, animals for the granddaughter, good breakfast. Fabulous setting for a quiet break away. Jon and his wife and their team were lovely, nothing too much bother for them. You can take your dogs too!
The road leading to the house was very dodgy. You need a good car, with good suspension! but that was our only downside.
Bakehouse was characterful and spacious.
We stayed at the studio which is perfect for families with young children. We loved having our own space and how peaceful it is there. Breakfast was lovely and owners and other guests were very friendly. We would definitely go there again!
Everything, from the peaceful setting to genial hosts. Will definately be staying here again
Great room with four poster bed. Great breakfast. Friendly staff.
Comfortable converted barn with spacious self catering facilities
Lovely cottage very homely with plenty of elbow room. Ideal locaton for the ferry and not far to visit the coast.
Loved the house, the location, the animals and the lovely owners! Extremely friendly welcome and perfect room.
Lovely couple running the house, very friendly and excellent breakfasts. Set in parkland with lovely views over open fields. Lamphey has bus and train facilities and a choice of restaurants and pubs. Is only 2 miles from nearest beach.
Driveway to the house is in need of repair.
Lovely comfortable cottage for families with young children. Local to BeAch with a small drive
Able to book for a short cottage break (3 nights) - even in August! Beautiful quiet location - lovely view from main bedroom in Carthouse - which is a very cute cottage and was very nice to have patio area and access to garden outside. Well-equipped cottage with a good amount of space- excellent for us and our 1-year old.
Bathroom and downstairs toilet could do with a bit of a touch up - paint peeling and looking a bit worn down. Wifi didn't work in cottage - though able to walk over to main house to use it.
Comfy beds - kids loved the loft conversion. Quiet and close enough drive to beach Provided extra bed for our young kid without charge.
No wifi in the cottage
Owners pleasant and helpful, house full of character, peaceful/quiet location, very good breakfast.
Clean bathroom Countryside views
Miserly breakfast (one small sausage and one piece of bacon with loads of tomatoes and mushrooms to fill the plate). Ony 2 breakfast tables so having to share tables with other guests. Large see through cracks in the doors to rooms. Poor value for money. Entry diriveway in poor condition with possble damage to tyres.
Studio is lovely, slightly tired sofa&seats though. Breakfasts delicious. Views stunning!
