This is a small family run hotel with very freindly & attentitive staff, nothing is too much trouble, and you only have to ask. Very good breakfasts (full english with toast, yoghurt, cereal, fruit juice, tea & coffee). Rooms are adequate size being clean & comfortable with freeview lcd tv. Large lounge area with small bar & large tv. Good location (about 5min walk to the tower, slightly downhill towards the tower and around a fiver if you want to take a taxi back. Lift to all floors but if you are disabled request a ground floor room as there are a few small steps between levels on the upper floors. We heard some horror stories from other guests about other hotels/b+b's in Blackpool so will definitely stay again next time in Blackpool. Shower was a bit feeble and hard to get the right temperature but not a major issue and probably would have been addressed if we had brought it to the attention of staff. |

Very welcoming host here - the room was very comfortable and the location for walking to the centre to view the Illuminations was excellent with only a five minute stroll to see the lights etc. |

Hotel was close to the main esplanade, a short walk to the piers and pleasure beach. Rooms were all neat and clean. Hotel staff were pleasant. Hotel itself was quiet and had on site parking. The unexpected change of check-out time. 11am on the 'Booking.com' print out but set as 10am by the hotel. Room cleaner attempted to enter room at 10am exactly via keys without as much as knocking first! |

Alan the owner was so helpful on our arrival and during our stay, the rooms were excellent and the hotel is spotless. Our breakfast was plentiful and overall our stay was value for money. The hotel has parking facilities and a relaxing lounge area to have a drink and just a short stroll to all amenities. |
