Meget snavset/beskidt på værelset, men sengene virkede ok og toilettet også ok.

Very helpful and caring staff, excellent location (a short distance to the nearest underground station Lancaster Gate and a short bus drive to Marble Arch and Oxford street). The hotel almost overlooks Kensington Gardens.

Too modest breakfast.

We arrived to hotel at 3pm and instead of double room we received two single rooms. Explanation was "we are fully booked". They promised, that next day morning or only after 2pm we will receive double room. Single rooms were very small, sockets didn't work. So first night was terrible. For breakfast were toasts only. Next day we finally received our double room, but wasted a lot of time for packing our staff back.

Location was good and fairly cheap

Room dirty, scruffy, dingy, in damp basement with very poor facilities broken furniture etc etc. Breakfast included but very limited poor quality croissant and coffee. Overall very unpleasant and would not stay there again for half the price.

Location is great, hotel area is decent, it is very near to Lancaster underground station. They have given us a room at ground floor but we requested a room at up floor (same floor with our other friends). They helped us asap.

Very small toilet and bath. No air condition in bath.

The staff were lovely and great location.

The room and hotel were absolutely filthy, I didnt put my bare feet on the floor at all as carpet was black with dirt. Shower and toilet makeshift cupboards in your bedroom and sink cracked and filthy.Really upset they took the first nights payment from my bank a week before arrival so no way could we afford to go anywhere else. Breakfast 2 slices of toast insipid tea or coffee, juice and a croissant. No cereal no fruit or yoghurt.

The best thing about the hotel is that its within 5 minutes walking distance to the nearest tube station and the main bus route into the centre of London.

#1,The rooms are nothing like they advertise on their website.Our #bedroom was dirty and in desparate need of a redecorate. 2, There were #bare wires hanging from the ceiling and also near the tops of the #bathroom door where it looks like some sort of maintenance had happened #in the past. 3,On the loose fitting main bedroom door was a 1cm gap all #the way around,which let light in from the corridor and actually moved #when other residents slammed shut their bedroom doors. 4,We had no #curtains or blinds in the room so in the morning we were woken around #0600 with a stream of light into the room.When we complained we were #told that nothing could be done as the maintanance man had gone home #for the day but he knew all about it. 5, We went for the very basic #continental breakfast on the final morning to be told that there was no #milk or yogurt due to the delivery not turning up! My child only drinks #milk in the morning so she had to go without.I Find it hard to believe #that the staff or management didnt go out to one of the many 24hour #supermarkets within walking distance of the hotel to actually buy some #fresh milk to serve.

The price was good the bedding was clean and it was warm despite the freezing conditions outside

the room was at the top of the building very noisy next to shared toilet with buzzing light and noisy heating system. The shower did not work the handle fell off (not screwed on but just held in place) the shower had tiles outside that we both slipped on. The breakfast was toast orbr

Location

The room for breakfast was far too small for the number of rooms; several of us had to stand and wait for people to finish, embarrassing.

Nothing

The mold in my bathroom, the dirty radiator, the food that was under the bed and the peeling paint. Not to mention, when we advised that the room was not up to our standard they were unable to find another room for our family. They offered another room...without a toilet in the room. They would not refund our money even though we told them upon check-in that we would be checking out the next day due to the condition of the hotel. I would not allow my dog to stay at that hotel.

Leaving the hotel.

I had an awful stay at the Lancaster Court Hotel. I arrived at the hotel with my friend to find out that we were staying in the attic on the fifth floor with no elevator and no offer of help up with our bags from reception. Then when we arrived to our room we saw there was a double bed when we had booked two singles. My friend then went in to the bathroom and saw that the toilet had not been cleaned since the last customer so there was faeces in the toilet. Our room was extremely cold and it turned out the radiator wasn't working, neither was the electric heater which smelt of burning when plugged in. When my friend went down to advise the receptionist of our situation she was told it would be sorted in 15 minutes. 45 minutes later she went back down because nothing had been done about either issue. We had to go out for dinner then and when we went back to our room we had only been given an extra duvet to share between us and the toilet had simply been flushed but there was still plenty of residue remaining, the radiator still hadn't been fixed on our return. The next morning when we attempted to have a shower the water was lukewarm at best! The advertised breakfast was a real let down because it only consisted of cold toast, stale croissants and warm tea or coffee. Not once were we given an apology from a member of staff. We were asked did we want to write a letter of complaint which we duly did. We were assured the manager would call us on the Monday morning but we have yet to receive this phone call. All in all we were extremely disappointed with our stay, it looked nothing like it does in the photographs and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Was suprised that for that monney got Top floor. Easy access to all places where I was planing to go. Good for money.

Very basic hotel but staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Very friendly welcome and very accommodating. Excellent convenient location 5 mins from Paddington railway station. Lovely clean bedding. Good freshly brewed coffee at breakfast. Room was warm and cosy.

Smelt damp. Very basic room and mismatching/tatty/worn fittings and furnishings (for example, the unit over sink had holes in it).

Fantastic Location. 2 stops on the underground to Oxford Circus. Nice walk through Hyde Park down to Buckingham Palace. Beds comfortable and clean, shower nice and hot and powerful. If you are a seasoned backpacker who has stayed in some hostels in some dodgy areas then this is a luxury.

If you are a family or have a western-minded standard of luxury then it may be a bit too close to the edge for you. Our room, No.12 On the ground floor was a bit cramped for four. 2 double beds(one a bit smaller) and one chair. The view from the old metal window was a wall and a ladder. Depressing. The radiator did not work at all. There was an electric wall heater which was just enough heat to keep the room bearable. The small kettle had to be placed on the floor to reach the electric socket as there was none on the unit. There was no soap and when we asked for some from reception the man told us to go down to a certain room and take it from there. It was a used soap so we didn't take it. Also when we got in our room after checking-in we noticed the toilet roll was already half used. The breakfast is just toast and jam with cheap dull croissants to pad it out. Worst tea I ever tasted, nearly the worst coffee, but for dipping it is just about acceptable, if you think of the tea as an alternative. Staff were fine and accommodating, breakfast women don't talk much and when I asked for more toast I got a shocked look. Think Oliver.

Near the Metro

The triple room was awful, the bathroom (toilet) was almost beside the bed, always smelled very bad. The shower drain always got stuck.

The location

Narrow stairway with no lift making it inconvenient to move luggage if u are staying at higher floor. Small room with barely any space to move around. There were 3 of us, friends of different genders, staying in the same room and the toilet door is a semi transparent glass door..

The staff were very friendly. The facility was quite for the most part. Location close to various local attractions.

They charged me an extra $10 on arrival from the price I initially booked online.

Friendliness of the staff, location and cleanliness.

Continental breakfast - I am wheat intolerant and there was no alternative to bread and croissants. Also, there was no decaff coffee available. The shower cubicle is old and leaky and could do with upgrading.

Enjoyed the service. Location was ideal for my friends and I as we were frequent users of the London underground. Close proximity to the city centre too!
