My room was arranged in the top floor and no elevator. It is not convenient for customers with many baggage. Heating in the room did not work sometimes.
staf is very nice and helpfull ..
room was no nice . bathroom and shower was so old .
When we had a complaint on the room, they arranged us another room asap.
The shower hoes are not removable (we had to put a towel on our head not to wet our hair). The room was a bit too small for 4 persons + luggages + shoppings, it was a bit too crowded.
Great location, kind staff, reception open 24/7, nice old building. The room was nice and clean.
Poor breakfast (would not need much to be OK, just a slice of ham would be a great improvement). A slightly better tea brand would also give a much nicer impression. The window was drafty- the room was still rather warm (despite the December weather), but it was quite noisy. Expensive paid WiFi. We had problems with the lock every time we tried to open or close the door.
Friendliness of staff Cleanliness of room Great breakfast
Unfortunately we were on the top floor with no lift. This was only difficult because of having a little one with me.
Location is fair. A short walk to the busy shopping district.
- Hotel has no lift - We were given a room on the 3rd floor and were expected to carry all our luggage to the 3rd floor on our own. Really not acceptable. Finally was given a room in the basement as an alternative. - room was small - bathroom was very small. Could hardly fit the shower
Only location. One of the staff was friendly.
One of the staff was totally unfriendly. Room heating below average. Cupboard was between the bed & the TV (very strange design). Room & cupboard was extremely small.
Standards, poor communication with the member of staff who was at reception, noisy and my room was very cold.
location comfy bed warm hotel
was under impression there was a standard shower above the bath, but all there is was a shower attachment to the taps.even if there was a shower unless u were 4 ft tall due to the low concave ceiling u would struggle.if u are prepared to stay here dont stay near the breakfast area as people band doors even the staff that make u jump up in bed from 7 in the morning
Friendly staff Good location (near Paddington station)
We had a room for three. There was one single bed and a double bed, which was very small for two people.
To be honest the only good thing is the location and the staff were polite
The rooms were cold most of the time they turned off the heating as its controlled by them , no heating means cold water and when you complain and they do eventually turn it on you have to wait for hours for the heating and water to warm up. The decore is extremely old and dirty , the bed is old not comfortable. There is NO WIFI !!!!! I was very disappointed with the hotel!.
Was in great area, walking distance to oxford street/ soho/ hyde park. They are very generous with heating in rooms.
room was in despite need of update but just cosmetic. The ensuite was freezing it was a challenge to stay in their long. No cooked breakfast
Location Staff were very courteous and helpful.
Dirty earbuds from previous occupants was left inside the glass by the bathroom. Too costly for the mediocre accommodation.
Super friendly staff, great location.
Broken window frame, hence noise level from street. Lack of breakfast choice.
Internet provider gave me free access when I couldn't log on from my room
Breakfast was very basic
location is excellent i have to say
not worth wt i paid for at allll the most dirty hotel sticky surfaces
location and staff
breakfast in the ground floor no lifts
We had one of the recently renovated rooms which were clean, well appointed and more than acceptable, the location was also perfect for our needs, also the parking was competitive and convenient , staff were excellent
Communal areas were tired and in need of some attention, remember this is a budget hotel and you won't go far wrong
Good location. Friendly reception staff. Clean.
Basement room 2 size of a cupboard. Window left open so was freezing and radiator not working properly. WC was shared. Kettle didn't work. Overall a very cramped space.
Please read the reviews !!!
The hotel is very close to Hyde park which is great if your visiting winter wonderland like we was. The rooms are small but very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. We paid 60 which is about the right price and I wouldn't have paid any higher. Staff on reception were very helpful.
Price was comparatively low, however, this was due to the fact that the room was of a very low standard, except for the mattress. Heating was exceptional.
Tired furnishings and old carpet. Had to pay an upgrade, as I was advised that the company I had booked through advertised the room as en-suite wrongly, therefore had to pay an extra £10.00 per night to get an en-suite.
The location was very good staff were friendly
The building was very tired our bedroom was on the top floor and was very poor quality / black mould around the window , very much DIY shower cubical door had broken so half had been replaced with a curtain noisy water pipes all night
