Not fully ensuite. But i guess you get what u pay
I like the kind of roof top room in this building and slept very well in the bed provided.
The never ending sets of stairs to get to your room but main issue was really the shower facilities. Impossible to mix the water to get a water temperature adequate for a shower. I tried to have a shower and almost burn my face with the water coming out. The shower equipment was of very poor quality which got me in the bad mood the next morning so i just left, probably won't come back soon.
The location was great for Hyde park and oxford street. Tube only a few minutes round the corner Comfortable bed The gentleman who treated us was very friendy
The shower was disgusting The room was tatty with cracks up the wall and across the ceiling. The tv wasnt tuned in I guess I pretty much paid a fortune to be close to Hyde park. I
Hotel was close to Tube stations, Hyde Park and Oxford Street for shopping. Hotel was quiet at night and the beds was comfortable so you could have a good nights sleep.
The breakfast room was as big as my living room. We couldn't eat there as it was full even though we payed for it! The window in our room wouldn't stay open and to lift it up you needed a six pack alone. We had to make Tea/Coffee on the floor as the lead on the kettle was tiny so it wouldn't reach onto a table.
The hotel is in a walking distance to Lancaster Gate tube station.
We were sent up to the 5th floor with no lift and the stairs were also precarious. The room was not VERY clean and the toilet flush was not working. We had to pay for the wifi and it's horrible.
Excellent location close to Paddington and Hyde Park, close to tune.
Stair ways looked a bit tired.
Price, location, staff
No lock on door
Location is easy to access the bus and underground services.
I have two big luggage and need to carry up tho 4th floor by a narrow spiral stairway . My gosh.
Easy access to public transport.
The lock in our bathroom was broken. Worse management and the boss not so friendly and not good in entertaining the customers.
The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms are good, spacious and clean. They are also located in a very good area of the city, easily reached by bus or metro.
- location (but it is the only positive of this place)
This hotel was a big disappointment: - the photos do not correspond to the real situation - poor breakfast - the shower was weird - a strange iron cubicle - the bathroom is really really small, and the door dont close propertly - cold shower - mouldy walls - wifi paid extra (it was rather slow)
Parking was £25 a day/night? Major road works taking place, difficult to get into hotel. Wifi £10, basement room very noisy. Couldn't control the heating, very warm. Breakfast very basic. Wouldn't recommend
Very warm, Clean Room with Tv, Tea and coffee and Bathroom, A very Good Breakfast. Special attention from the Desk personal-Mustafa :) nice man. Thanks Enrique and Belen
They let you store your own bags in a locked room. Surely, if they put them away you wouldn't have to worry about bags going missing. When flushing the toilet it stank the room out which they did try to fix to be fair. Although they say breakfast is included it was a very poor spread.
5/10 mins walk from Lancaster Gate or Paddington station. Excellent staff who will go out of their way to accommodate needs. Clean but basic room (although en suite bedroom we stayed in did have a hairdryer and iron with ironing board). Breakfast was sufficient although limited selection. Would have been nice to have the option of hot food although we were full and satisfied with what we had to eat. Would definitely stay again. Great price and fantastic location coupled with friendly staff and good facilities.
On one side of the bed you could feel the springs.
No elevator, small room, poor bathroom, bad smell
location only good thing
The room was terrible 2 single beds back to back, shower in room literally means shower in the room who wants to watch another person shower, the width of the room was so narrow you could only walk sideways, toilet was 2 floors down, wall paper hanging off walls, i would not board my dog here, stayed 5 mins whilst looked for another hotel, needs closing down and redoing drastically
It is near the Paddington station. Express train to Heathrow is most accessible. It is also a stone throw away from Hyde Park and Lancaster Gate station. There are minimarts and cafes nearby too. Enjoy the big screen TV in the room.
My room was immediately next to the breakfast room which makes sleeping in difficult as it gets noisy from 7.30-9am. The bomb-shelter like bathroom though quaint is drafty and the ceiling low. Am short but the bathroom wall mirror can only capture the face from nose down.
location staff clean rooms
bathroom window was not closing no lift (6 floors) no wi-fi (even for money)
Staff very pleasant and helpful
No hot water in shower and breakfast room so small no room to have any without queueing and a long wait so had none
basement room was smelly nowhere to hang clothes uncomfortable bed noisy upstairs (people walking about)
Quiet location, lots of cafes, pubs, shops etc, very close to Hyde park and the underground. Comfortable beds, very nice staff.
No Curtains in the room, the Roller blind was broken, no light bulbs in the bed side lamps. Shower room very smelly. Breakfast room was to small to accomadate the guests. Selection of food limited to cereal and toast, very poor,no fruit, no yoghurt !
nothing but the location: 5 min to Lancaster gate tube station and 15 min to Paddington walking
The room was dirty. I had a big stain on the carpet that looked absolutely nasty. We could lock the door in a very superficial way, so it wasn't safe at all. I could't flush the toilet, it was broken :) I could feel the wind from outside, entering under the window. The breakfast was coffee with fridge-cold milk, 2 slices of bread, corn flakes, butter, jam, some cheap cheese and boiled eggs. They didn't give us not even forks, only a teaspoon and a knife, so we had to eat with the fingers like in the Stone Age. In the room we had no mini-fridge. The walls are kind of paper ones, we could hear every little noise. And yes... 4 floors and no elevator! This hotel is an offence!
Easy access to train station
No elevator and steep steps to room. There is very litter water pressure in shower and felt that the room was not very secure when leaving. The price was inflated based on location of the hotel instead of the condition or quality of the room. Will not go back
Lancaster Court Hotel was very easy to find, in a quiet area a short walk from Paddington Station. The security was good, one had to press the button on the front door to be let in by the Reception Staff. They were very pleasant and helpful. The Reception was open 24/7. When one left the hotel to go to work or sightsee, one left the key behind at the Reception. On one’s return one requested the key by giving ones room number. I was in room 54, which was at the top of the building, which was a climb of 65 steps to a fire door, then a further 17 steps to my room. This had the advantage that I had no one above me who could disturb me at night if their floor was creaky. The bedroom had a large double bed which was firm and comfortable. There was a large screen TV + DVD player. There was a full range of Free View and adult channels available (one needed to pay for the adult channels and they were only available after midnight, some after 01:00. I did not view any of these). One had to pay for WiFi access (I did not use the WiFi in the hotel, since I had access to it elsewhere, outside the hotel). The following were also present in the room: A hair dryer, a table lamp, hot water jug, 2 mugs one stainless steel teaspoon, 2 tea bags, 2 coffee sachets, 4 cartons of milk and sugar. There was a modern mixer tap washbasin, 1 large and 1 medium sized towel, 1 floor towel, 2 bars of soap, 2 plastic tumblers in plastic wrappers, shaver socket and mirror, a modern shower cubical and toilet, Wardrobe with 5 hangers, bedhead table, bed light and one drawer, a small low ~ 2 foot by ~ 1 foot table and stool. Under the wardrobe there were 2 drawers. The TV was ~ 32 inches wide on the corner shelf of the room with a DVD slot in its side. There was a radiator under the single window. There was a floor plan and a fire procedure attached to the back of the entry door to the bedroom. There were 2 mirrors in the room, one was long and the other was over the basin.
