- Nice staff
- Electric toilet really LOUD, was earth-shaking - Breakfast is minimal, served in a small and hot room - Almost NO WATER in the shower
Having to carry my suitcase up so many stairs. Using the toilet down a flight of stairs. The window would not shut completely so too much noise from the street below during the night.
staff weren't very helpful very noisy not clean
The staff were very pleasant the situation was ideal.. Not a far walk from oxford street.. And taxis are cheap. Would highly recommend
The only downside was the lock in our bathroom was broken.. But that's just being picky! Apart from that our stay was great
good location and its quite.
No free wifi, its such a hassle trying to get the paid wifi. Room ok. Breakfast is not that great. If its busy and your on your own then you probably won't get a seat.
Location was easy to find and breakfast was lovely.
Was not able to have a hot shower as one of the shower heads were broke and only cold water was coming out in room 07.
Convenience of the location
Well, you couldn't swing a cat in Room 03 and sharing the loo is not what I'm used to. However, paying only GBP50 and getting breakfast thrown in, probably results in a pretty good deal all round!
We were able to leave our luggage at their storage for a full day for free. Location is just 5 mins walk from paddington.
There was no Wifi during our stay, which was a big problem for my family. There was no body wash, shampoo and conditioner.
- Value for Money - Location For a short stay in London this hotel represents a good option if you are not too "fussy". Very close to Hide Park if you like having a walk there when in London
Breakfast: Ok, it's a low budget hotel but breakfast could be easily improved
Hotel is basic and has no lift. As long as you are on third or fourth floor you are ok. Some rooms have shared facilities so be careful. Breakfast is continental and adequate. We were lucky with a good room (42) but it is pot luck. Kettle TV showers and lots of hot water. Remember you pay for what you get here.
Not a lot. We were quite satisfied for the money we paid. Labor on reception was very welcoming.
Near to paddington station
No Toilette in the room, shower small and not comfortable
location and the staff were friendly
shower is not working properly, the toilet is sharing and the room's windows needs to be repaired.
The damp stains on the wall. How loud the electric shower is
no free internet, poor draining shower, light bulb blown
Staff were friendly and helpful. Always appreciated when you're a single women travelling. The room met all my needs, simple, clean and with a window that opened to cool off from a hot day in London.
Be prepared for lots of stairs--not a problem for me, but others may be so.
Pleasantly surprised by size of room breakfast was quite good as well location excellent good service
Price was a little high wanted to stay some extra nights - bit of confusion with reception
Very clean and quiet, with comfortable bed and shower, so had the basic requirements for what I needed at the price.
I would prefer to have my own toilet but this was not a problem really. No shampoo sachets. Fruit would have been nice to have had as an option for breakfast but toast was okay.
The location of the hotel is good, you can get to London Paddington by walking, also the Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens in the walking distance.
I recently stayed at the lancaster court with a friend as we were attending british summertime at hyde park to see mcbusted. We got to our room at about 11:30pm and were more than satisfied with what was there. The room was more like a mini apartment and breakfast was sufficient.I would defo recommend it to friends as it was reasonably priced.Very friendly staff and we were in room 15 and would request this room to stay in again.
Cant complain about anything was good for what we needed.
Very comfortable beds Friendly staff Excellent location to shops, restaurants, trains station, hop on hop off buss', affordable wiFI
The breakfast, not much choice.
Location to Hyde Park & on site parking.
Pokey little bedroom. To be fair it was only a stopping point, so not a major complaint.
Too many stairs, no lift
Old, and falling apart. Didn't like the glass door between the bedroom and toilet 9no privacy when going to loo!)
I stayed at Lancaster Court during an overnight stay in a London between flights. The location is fantastic with Hyde Park on your doorstep as well the numerous places to eat and drink around Paddington station, which is also very close by. My single bed was very comfy and I slept very well. Mr room had a private shower and sink , the shower was very small but adequate for me . The shared toilet was kept clean. Breakfast is basic, toast, cereal , juice and tea/coffee but perfectly fine . If I was in a London for a short period time , I would definitely stay here again, it was great value for money.
No lift so I had to carry my luggage up four flights of stairs. During the day cleaning staff were very noisy and disturbed my sleep.
the location is very convenient
