It was a good location with good access to the tube and the tours and within walking distance to certain places of interest. The tv and shower doesn't work. The staff is not particularly friendly or helpful.

It was in the right place at a reasonable rate and served the purpose. My room was OK, but carpet dirty and with some very unpleasant marks on it. Much additional dirt beneath the bed. On return one evening at 12.15 AM it took 10 minutes to raise the evening staff member, to gain entry.

It was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I wouldn't say it was family friendly with small children as most of the rooms are below in the basement down winding stairs; tricky with a buggy and shopping. Also the hotel is above the London underground and we could hear the rumble below the beds; but luckily they stop between midnight and 6am.

Location was central to where I needed to be. Did not realise that the hotel was not fully en suit, would not have booked if I had known that. In this day an age to pay £102 for a room and not to have toilet facilities is not good enough.

Premier Inn Prices, but much much better room. Room was next to the cleaners cupboard, and they start early, but was not a major issue. Would be very happy to be in the same room again.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff were pleasant. I could not get the tv to work and I particuarly wanted to watch a programme on the bbc. When I enquired at Reception and requested assistance, I was told that tv reception was a from time to time a problem at the hotel. No assistance was offered as the young woman did not appear to know how to resolve it. If the hotel cannot offer a consistant service, it shouldn't advertise it or charge for it. Also the hairdryer did not work. The WC/bathroom was down a corridor. I should have prefered one adjacent or an en suite but I do not think these are available for single rooms.

I found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, great location and very friendly and helpful staff. There are no toilets in the rooms which did make me nervous as to what kind of state the hotel would be in but they were very clean and well maintained. There was a lady complaining behind me at reception about various things but It seemed she hadn't read the information about the hotel properly (such as there are no toilets in the rooms) It's a good price for it's location which is literally ten minutes from covent garden. A great little find which we will use again!

The staff was very kind and nice and the location was about 5-10 minutes walking from the center We paid 90 Gbp and we got nice room but and there is a big but the toilet was outside the room for us and for a few more rooms together that means we didn't have private bathroom and the shower was in the middle of the room with nothing to hide it so if you get a shower who else in the room can see u, and if someone opens the rooms door he can see you too. In addition there is no elevator there are stairs and a bell boy that can take ur things

Good downtown location. While there was a local parking garage, the three different hotel staff indicated the garage provided a discount payment if a receipt of hotel stay was provided. This was not true. Also, the garage operators attempted to make me pay the 27 pounds twice. I had to argue with them for 15 minutes to retrieve my car with only paying once.

I liked the way in which the old building had been adapted to a high standard. I liked the room and its attention to detail including the hidden kettle and tea making equipment and the various lights available. I liked the fan having been made available to get the air moving as when I used to live in Bloomsbury there was a certain stillness when traffic was rumbling not too far away which could be uncomfortable when it was hot. I liked the staff and their helpful first introduction to the hotel and offer to carry the bags . all in all a very welcoming team. I was of the view that a more varied breakfast menu including kippers and a few unusual dishes would have added to what was a good and adequate spread of food. I was a little surprised that breakfast was extra.

Nice location, nice hotel near the British Museum. Staff very nice, another nice thing: large choice of free tea and coffe in the room, with all you need to make it by yourself. Rooms are very very nice. Tough a bit expensive... But hotels in general are expensive in London. No lift, and some doubts about the curtains in the room: were they really green originally, or were they dirty ????

Excellent location It's a bit 'run down'. The first room I was shown to was already occupied - the first time this has ever happened to me. This was quickly resolved. The tariff of £150 was high for a 'semi en suite'. No lifts. No safe in the room. I requested a second pillow but this was not delivered.

The Lancaster was easy to find via the underground from Heathrow. Great spot for touring London. When we arrived we had a full ensuites bathroom, a comfortable bed and opening windows. Easy to get to Fabric via taxi if your into the club scene, also easy to get to Oxford street for the shops. Clean and a comfortable stay
