I found the service very good and the breakfast excellent. It would be an advantage if the courtyard was smartened up a little - there sere some weeds - but not to detract from its simplicity. |

Sky Sports 1 in room, flexibility over checkout time, fresh prepared breakfast, good pub in 10 mins walk, verandas on most rooms but too cold to use Small TV mounted a little too high on the wall for confort, dinner looked good but a little expensive, requirement to leave key at reception when going out |

We really enjoyed our stay the rooms are lovely. There was nothing we could fault and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We did try to email prior to our visit but I think the web site has a fault they might like to look into this as it might affect their bookigs. Television slightly small but the TV room was very nice and comfortable so we sat there to watch a couple of programs |

A comfortable hotel servingan excellent brekfast On the Friday evening there was a party at the hotel and I was woken up at 2.00am by the noise which continued until approx. 4.00am. I understood that this party should have endedat 12,.00 midnight. Guests from the party taking breakfast were loud, noisy and inconsiderate to other guests in the dining room. Their manners were appalling. |

Although quiet during my stay guest wise no doubt due to the economic climate this did not affect the standard of all round service i received.Difficult in fact impossible to make any negative comments. Highlights are the quality of food and associated service. The old fashioned genuine customer care provided by Paul and Trevor and their staff was refreshing. I can thoroughly recommend the hotel. |

The access from ground floor rooms out to the Courtyard via the verdana is a nice touch. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms have been beautiful decorated, and are very clean and comfortable. The staff if anything are too attentive. We went out for dinner, and were quizzed as to why / where etc. Although we didn't stay for dinner, the menu seemed expensive and limited. The bar is to be avoided. |
