Although twin room was small it was very cosy and warm, with lively cimfy beds. Great advantage having the use of the living area\kitchen downstairs too. Carolyn, the owner, is lovely and friendly and provided an excellent breakfast which set us up for the day. We have no hesitation in recommending this spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm b&b.
Lovely people, couldn't have been more helpful. Good breakfast. Nice lounge and kitchen for residents to use
On a busy road so you do get some road noise. Small room, but was honest in description and plenty of communal space
I was made very a welcome and the rooms are modern with nice en suite. Theres a kitchen and sitting room that guests can use. And a nice breakfast too!
room was too small
The two small bedrooms were made up for with a lovely roomy lounge just for guests staying in the 2 bedrooms.
The noisy road
Everything, fantastic location, good breakfast, cleanliness, home from home, very friendly
nothing, everything was excellent
Great location Perfect hosts comfortable rooms Yummy Breakfast
Having to leave!
Nearly everything. Friendly, intelligent owners. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable lounge. En suite. Patio to sit out & absorb the dales.
The noisy, busy road! The amount of traffic was appalling, creating so much noise coming straight into my room. Even the people in the back room were bothered by the traffic noise. My single room was a bit small too, not even enough space for my suitcase to sit open on the floor. Lovely B&B but I think the traffic noise would stop me staying there again.
ample parking; friendly hostess who recommended local attractions; kitchen/lounge area for exclusive use of guests
On fairly busy road, so if you wanted to sleep with windows open, might be noisy.
good accommodation, brilliant breakfast & wonderful hosts.
my room being @ the front was quite noisy with traffic slept poorly
lovely owners, great breakfast, nice lounge and kitchen, parking right outside of the door, scenic views from the conservatory and the bedroom, the dales and the canals are right on the doorstep .we thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend this gem very highly
Super value for money; friendly, helpful proprietor; great view from the room; free parking; alternative of frequent Keighley-Burnley bus service; lovely lounge, kitchen and conservatory/dining area for guests' use. (We were even able to make ourselves an evening meal after a long day out!)
friendly and helpful proprietor
Clean, hot water, good quality towels and linen, comfrtable bed, courteous proprietor
Trafic noise but not too bad
Carolyn and John were very helpful and welcoming, the amenities were all we could wish for, and Carolyn's breakfast set us up for the day. There are also several good eating places in the vicinity for evening meal. The area is beautiful, as are the views, and we will certainly return.
I liked the way I was treated from the moment the door was opened. It was a friendly atmosphere and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. I could make drinks in the kitchen as and when I liked. The shower was wonderful with a powerful operation and the bathroom was very clean as was all the rooms I went into.
I am a light sleeper and it was a busy road with traffic starting to use it at about 6am on and off, so after that I felt that I was cat-napping, but on the whole I did sleep well.
Friendly staff Cleanliness
Lovely, friendly welcome. Very clean and in a great location. Would definitely recommend.
Everything from the warm welcome to great breakfasts and homely feel. Very useful utility room and lounge with cooker, microwave, fridge and full wares for self sufficiency. Very highly regarded by myself as a frequent traveler staying in all types of accommodation. Definitely will stay here again, as very hard to fault.
no where to hang my shirts (unless I missed something really obvious)
The Owners, Cottage really beautiful with amazing views. Carolyn and John were wonderful. Lots of information and ideas on places to go and things to do. Will definitely be going again and will recommend to friends and family.
Being on a main road, but Carolyn moved me into the rear bedroom which was much quieter.
Great location with easy access to the "Salt & Pepper" pinnacles. Beautiful views out onto the Yorkshire Dales. Common area has access to fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle.
The additional use of living room and fully fitted kitchen facilities.
The view. Carolyn's hospitality. Nice lounge, good kitchen. Near to Yorkshire Dales. Comfy beds.
Tiny twin room, wardrobe outside in the hall. Small en-suite.
Lands End House was a really lovely place to stay. It was spotlessly clean with excellent facilities. It was quite unique in it's set up as you have a lounge/kitchen to use and breakfast is served in the conservatory overlooking the hills. You can cook your own dinner there if you so wish or heat something up in the microwave as the kitchen is really well equipped. I had the single room (with my own ensuite) and it was lovely. Very clean and comfortable. The owners were lovely and very friendly. I could have what I wanted for breakfast, cereal and fruit juice was provided and then eggs/bacon etc was cooked for me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this and hope to stay again in the future. Thank you very much.
