Use of the conservatory in an evening to admire the view was a bonus. Bottled tap water provided in bedroom and chocolate was a nice touch. Location is great, short walk away from local amenities and ideal for circular walks around the dales.

kettlewell is a perfect village for the western dales and walks start stright from the front door. village has good shop, 3 pubs and oozes of charm. The hosts, Chris and Susan are welcoming and get everything "just so" for guests.

The whole country village feel. The B&B was very comfortable and we were warmly welcomed with tea and cake in the sun room overlooking green fields and told of the village's history. Breakfast was great also.

We felt very welcome from our first arrival, almost like being valued friends, rather than paying customers. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. We loved the view and the opportunity to sit in the lovely garden.

Fantastic hosts made us welcome the minute we arrived with tea and lemon cake on the lawn. Susan's artwork is wonderful and brings lots of character to the rooms and she's a great baker too. Chris' knowledge of things local is amazing and his service to the village admirable. They're just a great couple. Breakfasts were the best we've ever had in the UK with all produce locally sourced and lovely home baked bread. You'd be hard pushed to find somewhere with service and friendliness at this level in such a wonderful village. Simply Exceptional !

    Having to go home :-(

Warm reception by the friendly owners. Breakfasts were first class with locally sourced fresh produce. Room large and comfortable with facilities one would expect and a lovely view. We were welcome to relax in the large conservatory and garden as required.

Only the weather - it poured down all day on one of our three days!
