Langdon Court Hotel is only 15 to 20 minutes’ drive from the city centre of Plymouth.

Walk the South Devon Coastal Paths: the hotel offers access via a path to the beach at Wembury. From there, you can walk the National Trust coastal footpaths.

Dartmoor is 20 to 30 minutes’ drive away. There are many places to visit in and around the moor. Some of the most memorable include the ancient stannary towns of Tavistock, Buckfast Abbey, Dartmeet, Lydford Gorge, Postbridge, and Becky Falls.

By Car
- When approaching Plymouth on the A38 from Exeter or Cornwall, follow the road signs to Plymouth city centre / A374.
- As you drive towards the city centre along the embankment (river on the left), keep in the right-hand lane.
- You now need to follow signs for Kingsbridge (A379). This will take you through the junction and traffic lights onto the A379.
- Continue on the A379 to the Elburton Hotel roundabout (4th one). Turn right and follow the brown tourist information signs to Langdon Court.
- Turn right at the Texaco Garage.
- Turn left at the next T-junction.
- Continue on this road for approximately 2 miles (ignore Down Thomas signpost.
- After a very sharp left-hand bend in road, continue to a fork in the road and take the left-hand fork to Langdon Court Drive.
