Friendly and warm welcome from the staff. The breakfast was also excellent. Vert dated hotel with dirty wallpaper and horrible facilities. The bedding resembled something you would see in a dog kennel

Staff were polite and courteous. Breakfast was served promptly. Room was somewhat basic but clean & comfortable nonetheless. Lack of reserved parking for guests. Felt it was wise to leave my car there once I did get a space.

Very friendly hotel staff and the location was right next to the centre. We had a problem with hot water both in the evening and the morning. The bed was not comfortable.

We have stayed at the Langhorne lots of times and we return because the staff are friendly, Harveys bar does good lunch time menu and there are several different types of beers.Everyone who works there goes out of their way to ensure that you enjoy your stay.

Good location. The breakfast was good. The hotel needs a total renovation as the carpets and wall coverings are very shabby. The bathroom facilities in our room were poor. No shower attached to wall, hand held showerhead only, no shower rail or curtain so the bathroom gets very damp, this is starting to affect the walls which are stained and peeling.

Very pleasant calm atmosphere, the hotel staff were very polite , welcoming and friendly.Nothing was too much trouble for the staff even when we accidentally left our key in the room the very nice man at reception quickly gave us a temporary one to access our hotel room with no fuss .The breakfast we had was very good, plenty of choice . Overall a very pleasant experience.I Would highly recomend the langhorne garden hotel in Folkstone ..

We found it easily and were extremely tired on arrival. The service was good and swift and we were soon in our room with a lovely cup of tea. Our only problem was the parking.

The gentleman working behind reception (the owner I think) was extremely helpful and polite. The room was basic but very clean and fresh smelling. Plenty of room and I was not disturbed by noise in the night. The breakfast was very nice and overall this is definately one of the better ones in the area (I have stayed at 4 others). I will be using this hotel again. Only real negative is a shower which you needed to sit in the bath with.

The price compared to others in the town and would only use again for one night stay, decor a bit dated they need to upgrade for the price they charge,as I have stayed for less in more comfortable hotels. Could not offer evening meal when asked as they required to be pre booked, and the public bar and toilet require a make over badly.

The hotel is comfortable and clean, the staff are excellent. At breakfast the meal was served promptly by helpfull staff. The view from my room was pleasant. I would have liked Baked Beans and Hash Browns at breakfast to give more of a sellection, rather than all meat and egg. Otherwise nice meal.

“Welcoming and warm staff. This is a bed & breakfast so you feel like you're a guest in a beautiful private home as opposed to in a stuffy hotel. Very relaxing. Luxurious guest room decor, modern private bath, and simple but elegant made-to-order breakfast. Lovely patio with access to private gardens in the prettiest part of Folkestone, and just a block from the Leas seaside walk. Oh yes, and complimentary cake & tea or coffee, and a glass of wine or beer too. I couldn't ask for more!” Palmer, Buford, Georgia |
