The location is superb, just a 5 minute walk to mumbles village and 5 minutes the other way to the surf beaches and cliff top walkways. The penthouse itself is lovely, very spacious and well equipped. It is well presented and was clean, fresh and light. All appliances work beautifully and the whole place has a lovely feel. We arrived in the dark and it was raining and it took us an hour to find the entrance. There is no such street number on the sat nav, there was not a named sign on the road frontage and the typed, laminated signs stuck on the side of the building were not obvious. Also, for a penthouse in this price range we felt it could have included more than one pillow each and a toilet door that doesn't open of its own accord outwardly, giving a view down the hall and into the lounge!

Easy to find, plenty of space and great living/cooking/sleeping facilities. Would have been helpful to have a second key available, and the bathroom gets a bit wet with the shower on!

The fantastic Penthouse at Langland Heights! Everything is like new and extremely clean it felt like we were the first people to stay there. We arrived as a family of six and we were all very pleased with the apartment. Very comfortable with modern expensive furniture, very well equipped Kitchen and a utility room with washing machine and dryer. The 50 inch plasma screen and full sky package meant that when we got back from a long day at the beach we were able to make a tasty meal and then watch a good film after. We also liked the fact that there was two lounges the second had an Xbox which kept the kids happy for hours. Langland Bay is a very short walk away which was great for us as we could walk there and there was no need to take the car. It is also only a short walk to the top of Mumbles where we found many shops and Restaurants. We are definitely going to be going back to The Penthouse it works out to be very good value and we had so much more freedom than staying in a hotel, Highly recommended book early it fills up very quickly.

Very prompt and attentive service on arrival. Availability for one night stay despite being self catering apartment. Well equipped kitchen and utility room and well furnished living/dining area. Perfect alternative to hotel for a family with toddler or baby. Three reasonably sized bedrooms with room off sitting room with sofabed. Eight people could easily have a comfortable stay. Bed linen and towels provided and beds made up. No lock on bathroom/toilet door. No lock on door leading directly into apartment. Latter a particular problem as small child/toddler could easily get out and fall down fairly steep stairs beyond. Bolt at top of door (out of child reach) would have been good Beds could do with much newer and more comfortable pillows. Hot water supply erratic.

I very much appreciated being able to book for two nights - so often you are forced to commit to a week. The accommodation was exactly as described, spacious, comfortable, bright, clean and very well equipped. The weather was more like February in June, but the little convector heater in the sitting room was deceptive, quickly warming the place up and keeping it at a comfortable temperature. Jason, the manager, was helpfulness itself. My two young boys were very impressed with the enormous tv! We were very comfortable and delighted to be so close to the hill down to Langland beach. If the weather had been kinder it would have been nice to sit outside, but I think it's fair to say the grounds - though perfectly useable - wouldn't give the sense of sitting in a garden. I'm sure this is something the owners have plans for.

Ideally situated - 5 mins to local beach and 10mins walking to Mumbles town.Good size rooms with large TV in living room (Sky & wi-fi very useful for teenagers. Great kitchen with everything you need, inc. tumble dryer. Bottles of water and free toiletries on arrival was a nice touch Large boiler in 2nd bedroom is very loud which curtails hot water usage if anyone sleeping. Could use hooks in bathroom for towels and clothes as nowhere to put them. Coat hooks in hallway would also be welcome.

Space. Modern feel. Sky tv. Free wi-fi. Noisy water pump. Needs a towel rail & a few hooks on backs of doors - but apart from that the apartment was really well furnished. The driveway to the house is not very clearly signposted especially for people arriving late at night when it's dark. We missed it and ended up coming in further up the narrow lane where the curb is high - maybe improve the signage, have some lighting, and lower the curb further up just in case!

space of the appartment. Location of appartment. Provision of essentials - cleaning materials, coffee, sugar etc. Ability to have a late check out time. Very well equiped kitchen and great communal area furnishings Very noisy water boiler that wakes anyone in two of the three bedrooms if any form of water is used. Was very cold when we arrived and had to phone the owner to ask for heating. Felt this should have been checked/considered before arrival of guests. only one bathroom in such a large appartment.

Very spacious penthouse apartment. Ideally suited for 6 adults or more with lots of gadgets and practical appliances. There is a separate games room, large kitchen and utility room and a massive dining room. Only one bathroom which could do with a bit of updating. Location is on top of a hill without the benfit of far reaching views with a rough drive up to the house. No balcony or terrace to enjoy the sunshine.
