The Carlton Hotel overlooks Swansea Bay in the center of Mumbles Village. Many rooms have sea views. The hotel has been recently been refurbished, and all rooms have a private bathroom.

Parking may be a problem
Standard of room lovely bathroom lovely breakfast wine in the room fresh milk available for drinks
Parking was slightly awkward
We stayed here for 3 nights, in a clean and comfortable room. Very stylish and modern. Very tasty breakfast, plenty of choices available on the menu. B&B owners were welcoming and friendly.
Nothing negative to say, sorry.
The standard of decor, the level of comfort and the friendliness and helpfulness of the proprietors cannot be faulted. I've stayed in many B&Bs and small hotels and this is simply the best so far!
As a consequence of the great location in Mumbles, parking can be a little bit of an issue - but one worth putting up with!
Great food Comfortable rooms Friendly owners.
Being really picky - no electric shaver point (Room 1). An adapter plug would be a wise inverstment for this room. Street Parking was difficult on first night.
All the things you want from a b+b. Location, good service, comfort and cleanliness. Topped off with a great breakfast.
We loved everything.
Stayed for two nights. First night we had the front room but we found this noisy as traffic passed by regularly, luckily we were able to move to the back room which was very small but quiet. Giles and David were very helpful and the breakfast was excellent quality except for the thin bread but this seems to be the norm in the UK. B & B's are expensive in The Mumbles as there is a lack of good hotels.
Parking not on site
Great b & b look no further.
Parking was a bit random.
wonderful, attentive hosts bedrooms like a luxury hotel great attention to detail good cooked breakfasts - cater for vegeetarians with Quorn products too! fantastic location - can walk to many good restaurants and local shops. easy access to Mumbles and the Gowe peninsula
nothing at all. will definiotely be coming back
Lovely breakfast and quiet room
Obvious attention not only to the big important things but also to all those little things that make all the difference and which ensured that we had a very pleasant & enjoyable stay...
Room was amazing, bed extremely comfortable, shower modern and powerful. Breakfast outstanding in all respects
Lack of parking, but not really a problem as long as you moved the car between 10 and 4pm.
Home from home! Free to come and go as and when. Own key. Friendly warm welcoming. Fresh milk and fruit available at all times.
Smelll in the road outside the property. Shower a bit difficult to regulate and difficult not to get hair wet when showering.
had large room full of interesting details. Very friendly owner operated. Good breakfast. Strong wifi.
