This was so convenient to Goodge St station; exceptionally pleasant and helpful staff, both on reception and at breakfast. Provided me with a carton of apple juice after arriving late and parched when all shops shut - so kind. Room was very clean - excellent shower.
The bed was pretty hard, but we did sleep well - really quiet.
Good sized room & excellent shower.Nice breakfast. Friendly & helpful staff.
Booked a 3 bed room, but turned out to be 1 single & a double bed.
was as expected for the price. Not the best but adequate.
room could be a bit cleaner
everything else. good value breakfast.
far to hot no airconditioning
no dryer in the bathroom My room was in the basement
Location near Goodge tube convenient Towels and bedding clean
Very dated and needs a good refresh and cleanup. Windows rotten, white lace curtains black, shower cracked and mould on tiles Seems neglected
All single rooms face the road and are noisy and extremely small - only just room for a single bed, like being in a cell. Breakfast doesn't start until 7.30am and is poor. They make you pay on arrival but don't provide a receipt until you leave (presumably to make sure you don't leave having seen the poor conditions). To be avoided - there are much better hotels in the same area and price range.
very close to the British Museum; clean and neat; nice breakfast and staff
it was a small basement with a window but some guys slept outside under the window during night.
Close to metro station (Goodge street), which connects you to the airport line (change at Leicester Square). The area is plenty of supermarkets. The guy at the reception is flexible and allowed us to see and choose the room. English breakfast is just made on request and reasonably good. Our room had good wifi reception. The bed was comfortable and toilet was newly renovated.
Size of some rooms is limited. Carpet in the room tends to accumulate dust. Some rooms start to be noisy early in the morning, but not an issue if you are an 'early bird'.
Staff were more interested in their discussion than checking me in, I had to interrupt them which clearly annoyed them
Only the location
the rooms need to be renovated, no dustbin in the room, room was small breakfast finished at 9 am
room was too small for any price but certainly for this price
It was clean and the breakfast was ok.
The bed was absolutely uncomfortable.
Size of the room. Noise.
Rooms very small, a little untidy
Location to central London excellent and room whilst small served it purpose.
Room facing Gower Street which is a very busy road and the noise of traffic is prevalent through the night.
The location and the internet.
Inside the room there is no place to sit in or to have your food. In the room I saw a mouse was eating my KFC box!!! They have no tissue but the toilet paper. :(
Modern design and nice equipment, quiet, wifi ok, still overpriced
Ridiculously tiny room. The length of the bed was exactly the width of the room, since both ends of the bed touched the wall. I am 1.70m and the length of the bed was ok for me but I think someone taller would be uncomfortable. Also, it is not advisable to travel with a bigger suitcase since there is literally no room (if you open your suitcase you cannot open the bathroom door). For that price, I would have preferred a breakfast buffet instead of having to order my one plate
The room was no bigger than a cupboard - appalling size.
This hotel was advertised as 4 stars hotel but it was in fact at the level of 2 stars and even less. I was very disappointed with booking. Com for advertising the hotel as 4 stars. When I complained to the recptionost he told me that the hotel was good for the price which was completely false. I asked for extra towel but the receptionist instead of giving me towel, which was refused by the receptionist at the beginning. Eventually he gave me another hand towel instead of bath towel. The room was very small, the TV was so close to me on the wall beside the bed, and the walls were not clean. I regretted so much for booking that hotel and I would warn anyone who wants to go to this hotel about its condition. I will never go to this hotel myself.
Location is very good - walking distance to covent garden, soho, tottenham court road, leicester sq etc. Room itself was decent and the bed was comfortable enough
Cleanliness wasn't great with dust on skirting boards and whilst the key things were clean there was just a grubby feel. Carpets were very downtrodden and dirty. Bathroom was very small.
The location is good but to be honest you can get a tube to anywhere from anywhere so it is not essential! It is near to shops but non of the main tourist attractions. It was clean and the bathroom facilities were good. Breakfast was small and basic.Very standard and average hotel.
The hotel is much smaller and compact than I imagined. Our room was in a small hallway between the kitchen and breakfast room, consequently when the chef started prep at 5.30am we were woken up and felt quite like we were IN the breakfast room as people began to arrive for their food!
Staff were very pleasant, hotel clean and excellent breakfast. Also excellent location.
We were on third second floor could have done with lift very steep stairs.
Room was small but adequante for 1 person. Price was very reasonable, and included a full English breakfast and free Wifi. Would definately come back!
Breakfast made on order! Close to Oxford street.
The bed was hard.
