Location, beds and wi-fi.
I thought that The Full English breakfast would be arranged like the rest of The brrakfast, so one could choose From the different components..
As it was compact, everything was within reach. I loved the shower. Very powerful
The room is quite small. Occasionally felt claustrophobic.
Reason for staying here was because it was close to where we needed to go and it was good value for money. Breakfast was ok and it was quiet to.
It was quiet and comfy and close to shops
Location was great, tube nearby and within walking distance to many attractions
Poor nights sleep, hotel too hot throughout. Mattress sloping to one side. Hall light on all night shining through bottom of bedroom door.
Friendly, attentive staff. Acceptable sized room & beds for a triple room. Clean, well organised room & bathroom. Shower gel & shampoo in bathroom. Amazingly quiet for London (we were in a room facing the back). Good selection of breakfast food & a freshly cooked full English brekkie. Good value for money.
Everything was fine
Good location for central London, clean room, good reception.
Booked a double bed but was given two single beds pushed together. Not comfortable!
Staff were really friendly willing to help
It was only a short walk to the theatre. We had a triple room and it served us well. Plenty on offer for breakfast.
The hotel was in a great location, it was near to my conference facilities. It was also near to British Museum, Covent Garden and Oxford Street.
Although I booked a single room it was extremely small, too hot and noisy.
The 2 members of staff on reception were very helpful and pleasant and the location was excellent, very easy to get to from both Kings Cross and Euston train stations, easy walking distance from Grooge Street underground (5 mins) and the British Museum was also just a 10 min walk.
Please be aware that there are no lifts in this hotel, so as a party with one of us using a walking stick it did present an issue, it is a converted house and there are plenty of narrow stairs to go up and down, the breakfast room is on the lower ground floor and although it is a wonderful cooked breakfast with plenty of choice, it was small and there were people queuing on the stairs waiting to be seated. The bathroom was very clean but the rest of the room was not. We actually wrote "clean me " in the dust on one of the chairs and the fold out bed had empty crisp packets underneath it. I have never suffered with any reaction to dust but within Minutes of entering the room my eyes were streaming and swollen
Door in to hotel was dirty
Reception were very helpful and welcoming. Let us leave our luggage until we checked in. Room modern albeit needs decorating. Mattress very comfortable.
Staff at breakfast were unhelpful and not very friendly. Breakfast was awful and no menu. We were told very rudely fried or scrambled and that was it. Coffee was scarce and toast barely toasted. Expected better
location was good. not far from tube stations. bed was comfortable
not very clean. hairs in the shower and very dusty.
We had a choice of two rooms offered to us and we chose the biggest as the other was tiny, our room was pleasant with a lovely shower and comfy bed, if anything it was too warm as we was in the basement but that was ok once we opened the window! The breakfast was delicious with good quality sausages and bacon! Staff were pleasant! We stayed 2 nights and it was a good location for the tube to get around! Would stay again!
No bad points from us!
There wasnt anything specific that i really liked. Location was probably the best
It was very hot. A strange aromatic smell, in need of a clean and lick of paint
Too small. Too hot.
Location was good, close to tube, our rooms were clean. Breakfast was ok. Check in / reception staff were very nice.
The hotel was far too hot, the heating was stifling and unhealthy. The breakfast room was very small and couldn't fit guests in. Go to breakfast early.
The location was quite good and the price I paid was kind of unbelievable, 230 pounds for 4 nights in Central London (but then again check the negatives). The staff at the front desk was really nice though, and helped me book a cheap cab to the airport. Free WiFi in hotels is always good.
TOO SMALL. I've stayed in several hotels in Europe and I understand that rooms are small. But never have I seen a room and bathroom THIS small. There was no space to keep my standard check-in sized bag. I had to stuff it under the single bed to free up some room to walk. The sink in the bathroom was really tiny and it was uncomfortable to brush, shave or wash your face without spilling water on the floor or yourself. The shower area was minimal. The breakfast area wasn't equipped to handle all the guests - so I actually skipped breakfast in the hotel because I didn't have time to queue up. It's surely not a 4-star hotel if you don't have cleaning staff after a certain time. They didn't have cleaning staff when I requested them to clean my room early evening. I'd say this was a 2.5 star at the most.
Ideal location not far from Euston Road tube station.Friendly staff and always seemed clean.
No vending machines or facility's for food or drink after breakfast.
staff were very nice. good breakfast suitable if you just want a night sleep in a central location
this hotel should not be 4 star
Location & staff
Location, food, staff, bathroom.
The hotel was very hot and the room very small.
