Score from 2985 reviews Very good
Comfortable room, modern bathroom.
Very small, Noisy, and bed too close to window
Location, price and breakfast
Bit noisy at night with doors slamming
Reasonable price for this part of London, free internet, friendly staff
sloping floor and bed. I had to lock myself with my leg, not to fall off the bed while sleeping... lack of lift...
The bathroom was clean.
The room was too small one could not move around as well as the bed was too short
Location was good.
Very unpleasant stay given smells.
Nice clean spacious room
The room was very noisy being situated between the breakfast room and the kitchen. the room was also very hot but opening the window was not an option as it was next to the kitchen extract fan.
Walking distance to major sites
3rd floor room, going up and down with suitcases not convenient
Modern fittings and tv; fabulous shower.
Very small rooms. if you book a small room, be prepared for it to be very, very small indeed. Note to hotel - a couple of extra hooks in the small rooms would be very helpful.
Very basic guest house- the British system is hopeless at distinguishing between this and a proper hotel. It's priced up because of the great location. Redeemed by very helpful /friendly staff
Tap in tiny shower room was broken and difficult to use. Space very cramped. TV beside your head in bed, impossible to watch, also tea/ coffee jammed down beside bed
Price/Quality is good (special offer)
Guy behind reception sitting with his earphones in Breakfast is very 1989. Very poor. Woman that served me breakfast was really friendly. There's quite the gap under the door of the room, very loud when people pass.
Price and a very good breakfast
Room at the front, traffic noise is ridiculous.
Triple room (203) was big, modern, bright, well-heated (with controls on radiator and window that I could open to let air in), tea coffee, shortbread, spotlessly clean, amazing shower, excellent fast wifi, cooked breakfast available (though I didn't try it). It was also quiet because it was at the back and on 2nd floor.
Not much to complain about here - the room was half the price of similar big name hotels but a fabulous room. Wee things that could be better but didn't take away from the experience were: small towels; phone in room not working and beeped randomly (so I plugged it out); breakfast room was small and busy at 8.45am; no bath (not a problem for me). I'm sure other rooms would have been noisier.
Location and price
Needs double glazing Breakfast stops at 9am which is weird
Had no problem with this hotel at all! Do recommend and we definitely book it again
Breakfast time was early, wish they could expand the time a little longer to 11 o'clock
Location was fantastic, Staff have been extremly helpful. Clean hotel and rooms. G1 room very spacious. Nice breakfast, small but satisfying. I would definatly recommend this hotel at the prices we paid i can not see there being any better value for money.
Only slight issue is my fiance uses a wheelchair and there was 2 steps into the hotel (during booking i mentioned the need for a ramp due to wheelchair use). The manager gave us a ground floor room next to a side door (this acted as our own personnel entrance) fortunatly my fiance can walk short distances and could manage from the doot to the bottom of the steps. The staff had offered to help if ever i needed assistance.
Free wifi, nice location, good and hearty breakfast, well furnished room
The single room was a little to small, usually breakfast tables were not enough for all people who had to stand in the room waiting for them
It was conveniet for the (cheap) price I paid, the single room I stayed in was very small but had all I needed. Would not be practical for more than about 2 night stay though.
It was extremely hot! I had to open the window (which was not easy) and wedge it open with my toiletries bag just to get a bareable temperature.
Great central location for sight seeing with most attractions being within a 40 minute walk.
The breakfast room is quite small and can be busy at times with people waiting for tables to become empty.
the bedroom is a cupboard and not a bedroom Double window was broken so it doesnt close . A lot of noise from the street..No sleeping and the worst :bed too short I could not lay my legs and the bed was stuck under the window
I like the fact that the hotel was very clean
Breakfast was horrible, a woman comes to ask you if you want an english breakfast which consists of 1 sausage, 1 egg, 1 piece of bacon and a few mushrooms and baked beans, we had to wait for someone to get up from their breakfast before we could sit down, and water was dripping from the ceiling
bedroom was so small you could not even stretch in the area. The bed was so small i fell off during the night. The sink in the toilet is the size which you find in a mcdonalds toilet and you can't even wash your face without water spilling all over the floor
breakfast was excellent
single room so small that too cold for sleeping - walls around the bad like a icebox
staff very friendly Near to Oxford Street
very uncomfortable bed
The location was better than expected, within walking distance of theatres. The room was compact but clean, perfectly serviceable for the price. Would visit again.
The breakfast was nothing to write home about but edible.
