Good sized room, nice decor, cleaned well every day. Great location for many theatres with underground and bus access very close by. Nice English breakfast, room could get a little crowded.
The cleanness and assistance given by the staff
Comfy bed Neat and clean bathroom
Drafty windows Room was a little grubby - numbers scratched on headboard, marks on walls
Only for short stay and only if you travel with no luggage.
The room was very tiny, you could not place the suitcases and open the door. The room was very cold, I had to sleep in my clothes not to get a cold. There is no lift, so if you have heavy luggage you have to carry it upstairs. WLAN was working o.k. In the bathroom the bathroom curtains were moldy. The room did not have enough lights. For a longer stay the hotel is not good.
Location is short walking distance from most theaters, Leicester square, piccadilly circus, oxford street, and other great places. Helpful staff and very good breakfast.
Size of the room, it is really tiny. Little noisy when window is open.
The staff was courteous to help me with leaving a present for a friend to pick up after I was gone. In a few minutes, one can be in Soho and enjoy the night life. WiFi worked well.
The concierge looked very unhappy when asked to help with transport directions to a central destination. In a rush, I was forced t to order a taxi. The street noise means one can only sleep if dead tired. The breakfast was as if they knew I was dieting.
We got a room in the basement (of course there were windows but still you feel trapped). The paint was cracked in many places with crushed mosquitoes stains. The third bed was a convertible couch, not confortable at all (and I'm not complicated). Maybe other rooms are better but I don't think we'll go back there.
The room was modern, little small but very nice!!
The room size and no air con
Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Good location.
I wanted a clean, inexpensive room for just one night. And that. is. all. I. got.
This room was fine as far as it went... but I couldn't open my suitcase AND the bathroom door. It was one... or the other. A VERY SMALL room. VERY. There was a hot pot and makings for tea... but no cup. The power outlet was under the bedside table - very hard to get to or to see. The "fragrance" of the cleaning products was overpowering. And the window didn't open. And there was no fan or temperature control. The toiletries were also overpoweringly "fragrant" - I was fortunate not to get a migraine. the towels were clean but small. There was no place to HANG my towel. There were just TWO hangers available (fine, I was only staying one night but I did want to hang my clothes...); one was broken and the little nails sticking out the bottom put picks in the shirt I hung up. The breakfast was OK.
Location & wifi
Everything else. The place was so small. The bed was small. Restroom was small. The heater was not working. Bedroom was so small that It had to be either me or my suitcase in the room. The only thing that was abundant was thick air.
They were happy for me to leave my bags in reception in the morning. Staff were friendly. I checked in at the usual time 2pm and the single room given to me on the 3rd floor stank of insect repellent even with the window that had been left open. I complained and was told that it was perhaps Febreeze. When I persisted, I was given a double room on lower ground. The room was great. Decor was good, it was clean and comfortable but I was woken up at 6.45am by breakfast being prepared as it was right by the kitchen and dining room and there was much shouting and clattering. However, location is excellent and for the price in London, you can't complain.
The first room I was given smelled of insect repellant.
full english breakfast included
The room was tiny - not even enough place to open a suitcase on the floor. This is a 2 star hotel, not 4star
very small room but ok as a single room
Free Wifi with reliable service friendly staff
place is uncomfortably over-heated no lift available
Friendly staff, very clean, beautiful room. Very nice breakfast
-Good Wifi -Great location -Good shower -Good breakfast
-Airco wasn't working -We had a triple room that was just big enough for the two of us. - No elevator -Cleaning needs be taken to a higher level, not just the bed, dusting should become part of the routine
The location was the best part and the staff was nice.
The room was extremely tiny and somewhat run down. There was barely enough room for my bag and also no closet. It was extremely hot inside the room, despite turning the heater off and it being winter/early spring. Breakfast was all right, though ended really early (9 am).
Very comfortable hotel and fantastic location, generally friendly staff. Breakfast was good.
They do not offer sweetener, as an alternative for sugar, so if you are diabetic, you will need to bring your own. The safe in my room did not work as the battery was low, and they were unable to fix this until the next morning - at which point I had checked out.
Location, location, location. A small cabin 2x2m, but everything you need is there + tea, coffee + biscuit, shampoo, showergel, clean towels.
expensive for the size of the room 2x2 m. This is a B&B instead of 4star hotel. Room is fairly clean. Floor, shower, bed sheets, towels OK. Luggage left unguarded at reception.
Location. A full English Breakfast is included. The tube station (Goodge) is about 2 blocks away. The Bus stop across the street from the hotel takes you right into Leicester Square.
Be advised when they single room it was very small. They stated cabin size but it was much smaller than that. Hardly room to turn around. My suitcase had to go on the floor and be slid under the bed to move around. No closet space.
room, breakfast, location
Excellent price, friendly, great location.
A bit cramped and basic breakfast.
