Very, very small room!
My tiny room held everything I could possibly need. Wifi in room a real bonus to provide easy contact with family at any time. Breakfast excellent variety & plenty of it. Staff very pleasant. Location really good close to 3 underground & KingsCross St Pancras. Safe area with lots of food options & facilities. Definitely recommend to family & friends
Sadly the cleaning leaves a bit to be desired but nothing that could not be easily remedied with some training & good supervision
Very very small room
Location Staff were friendly
3rd floor no lift When booking ordered gluten free breakfast nothing suitable for first breakfast but did hotel did get in gluten free bread for next two days. Floor sloped in bedroom felt like you were falling out of bed. No cold water in the sink Not enough room for breakfast some guests had to wait for a table.
The absence of a teble in the room
Near to underground
Unbelievable small, dirty room, a lot of noise from the street, impolite lady at breakfast.
Convenient location, friendly reception
Small room on 3rd floor even though we'd booked 2 months ahead. No twin beds, double a bit narrow. Extending breakfast to 9.30 would avoid crush in quite small room.
comfy bed and quiet night -had a good nights sleep despite being on a fairly busy road. Location good for getting about.
Bathroom a bit pokey although shower was good.
Good breakfast, friendly staff and clean, modern facilities. Very competitive price. great location for University of London.
Very cramped single room and shower room. Gower Street is very busy with traffic all night and if your room is on that side of the hotel it is difficult to sleep.
Location of the hotel was very good. Also, the staff in the reception was friendly. The bathroom was small, but new.
The staff serving the breakfast was not friendly. The food was not good. The air condition didn't work properly. Altogether, I will not go back to this hotel again. But maybe this is what you get in the expensive city of London...
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. I went for a small cabin room as I was only looking for budget accommodation, somewhere to rest my head after studying all day. I wanted the privacy of my own room, bathroom and basic facilities ie tea & coffee, TV etc without paying too much and I am very glad that I chose The Bloomsbury Palace Hotel.
Although I felt safe and comfortable I was a little concerned that when in my room the door lock did not seem to work properly. I would suggest getting a headboard for the bed to improve comfort.
Convenient for where I needed to be
Room was very small and not cleaned properly (make-up stains on wall, very dusty windowsill, toilet not v clean), there was also alot of noise from traffic outside and it was too hot. The staff were rude - I asked if I could have a poached egg at breakfast instead of scrambled and was told no as the kitchen would be stopping serving breakfast in half an hour and therefore did not have time to make a poached egg. The second morning I wasn't offered a cooked breakfast. I also asked if I could have some water to bring up to my room and was refused. Not a very enjoyable stay.
Size of room - not suitable if your staying for more than one night you literally cant turn round in it and there is no where to put a case out of the way. Beds and pillows very uncomfortable no aircon - room very hot very noisy
The staff attitude, the speed of the free Wi-Fi and the breakfast.
The room was tiny as was bed.
the location for theatre and Covent garden
price was expensive, room was stuffy - thank goodness for air-con, breakfast was chaotic.
Size of room. Tiny.
Location location location
Nice staff and good breakfast but room could have been cleaned a lot better and very hot 3rd floor
room was not clean at our arrival, do not take room in the lower ground floor, when asking recpetion if room could be change, they play dumb, breakfast is not worth hotel with 4 stars, breakfast area is to small, WI Fi was not working in our room,
The bathroom and room were clean
noisy. our location was close to the stairwell.
Location was great. Handy to trains. Charlotte Street for lots of choices of good restaurants walking distance. We had ground floor room which was very quiet. Breakfast was good.
Room was fairly grubby. Carpets looked like they needed shampooing. Had to ask second day for replacement towels, coffee, sugar and toilet paper.
bedroom was too small
Bed was really comfortable
Breakfast is to early
Great location, very good breakfast with lots of choice included in the price - room small but comfortable and a great price for such a central location.
