Chose this guest house as a base .for a 3 night stay. It is close to the M4 and handy to get into London by train. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the train station. We stayed there as we were going to watch a football match at Chelsea. We also went into London on Sunday for sightseeing. The guest house was very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast we had every morning was ideal as everything was set out for us and we didn't have to rush. The family were very helpful and friendly.
The parking was at the front of the guest house and if the spaces were fully occupied it would have been very tight to fit in the car. It would also have been tricky to reverse onto a busy road in the rush hour. We stayed in a standard room and found the bed to be on the small side.
Location to het row airport only 15 min drive Friendly staff
Breakfast very simple self serve but good if on the move early
Our reception by the owners can only be explained as fantastic, inviting, warm, and the most helpful of any I have received in my extensive travels. So much more personal than a hotel!
Backing my car out into the traffic in the morning but in the end no big deal, someone always lets you in. Next time I'll back in the car the night before.
Everything except the location.
Difficult to park safely, especially during the rush hour, but then that is the nature of that part of the world!
The room was very comfortable. Good comfortable bed and nice bathroom.
Didn't start breakfast until 7.30am, which was too early for our flight.
Free WIFI, Red Lion Pub food was good.
Very friendly helpful people.Lovely room, very clean and modern.
Nice and clean, great facilities with great genuine, friendly service.
The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home, they are a lovely family. The guest house was spotlessly clean and we had a very peaceful couple of nights. Toby Inn is quite close and does an "all you can eat" breakfast for £3.99.
Wish we could have had a full breakfast at the guest house but can appreciate that this would prove difficult for them with young children to look after.
very friendly staff and good facilities
the environment and the smell of the room
Good place to stay Very clean Small bedroom but well furnished Nice owner
Sad situation near a railway with few restaurants but close to London and Windsor
Great small guest house ideal for Heathrow travellers
Rooms not too big
Owners are everything! Friendly, attentive, very helpful in the situations we had to solve. The house is the image of the owners, comfortable and spotless in terms of cleanliness. Well placed for visiting Windsor or access to Heathrow airport.
Extremely clean. Great breakfast selection.
Upon entrance you can see the work pride gone into this guest house, bedroom on suite bathroom perfect and spotless, disabled friendly, courteous family run business could not have been more help to me and my child. I was expecting inclusive breakfast and a single bed for my child but was not the case, I was offered a put up bed for my child but declined, breakfast was 2.50pp and very nice we had the company of the owner and her little ones for breakfast this for me was excellent I am family orientated and found this to be home away from home no excess noise inside and out, refreshments in fridge in the room available wifi tv ect just further out from Lego land than I would have liked due to disability but worked out ok in the end and great direction from the owner who graciously met us at the door. Thank you for opening your doors to us we had a great stay. x
checked with the owner after booking confirmed for distance as it was showing up different, turned out to be further only due to personal disability circumstances. There was no where to dry our wet clothes as we were drenched head to inside shoes ect left them outside our door as great water proof tiles. Don't read this as a negative just a suggested feedback you may have over looked: }.
The host was very friendly but not too intrusive. Bed very comfortable. Shower lovely. Facilities in the room excellent. The mini bar was well stocked and the most reasonably priced I've ever seen. We are definately going back to stay again.
The room was small but to be fair it was advertised as a small double. It certainly didn't effect out stay.
- Continental breakfast @GBP2,50 - 5 mins walk to train station - stores & restaurants nearby - great hospitality - rooms very well equipped
England was unusually warm, and so was the room. But as I've understood the family room will be fitted with airco before the next season.
Clean and value for money Ok for one night going to legoland.
Not well signposted outside drove past it and had to come back it only has a small sign above the door. Could do with a board at the edge of the driveway.
Very nice place, like new, and wonderful people..
Small area for breakfast.. however very accommodating. Good Selection of food.
Arrived to a very warm welcome, and nothing was too much trouble all weekend...Very accomodating, shall definately return to Langley Guest House..
Room facilities were extremely good & room was lovely. Owner was fantastic & greeted us on arrival. She was very helpful in giving us information about the area & places to eat. She also helped us to plan our journey into Windsor by advising us of the best way to get there.
We stayed on the hottest day of the year and as such needed to have the windows open. There were kids playing on skateboards across the road quite late into the night and were pretty noisy so it was difficult to get to sleep.
Bus 75 & 76 from Heathrow almost stop at the door. Comfortable bed. Very close to a variety of meal options such as corner store, fish n chips, Indian food, pizza etc. Owner was very helpful to all our needs even offering us plates and cutlery for our takeaway meal.
Breakfast slightly limited but was not a concern for a short stay.
The welcome was excellent with good advice about local eateries. The room was very clean and comfortable and obviously well maintained.
Forget the continental breakfast and go to Reds cafe.
The owner was lovely. Room, though small, was very clean.
The breakfast area is extremely small and would be difficult to maneuver if more than 2 guests were there at a time. There was a lot of noise the night we were there but it did quiet after 11PM. Only 1 sit down restaurant within walking distance which is a pub that has only Indian food,
We used this as a last night's stay before departing from Heathrow. We had a rental car. As such it is excellent. Very friendly and helpful lady. We were on the front and you have to close the window at about 6:30 because of traffic but then it is fine to sleep. We did not eat breakfast here.
