Good clean room with lovely refurbished bathroom. Quiet room at back. Substantial continental breakfast. Overall excellent value for money. Bed was very firm and hair dryer had no plug. Neither really a big issue though.

- Nice room, very nice bathroom - Surprisingly quiet, no road noise at all (note that we were on the garden side) - Very kind and flexible staff (eg. we were able to check in early, we could leave the baggage there after checkout) - A Stansted Airport Coach stops nearby Nothing serious, really... Well, of course it could be cheaper. :) There was only minor stuff like squeking of the ceiling when people walked on the upper floor, and a bit more curtains could be added to the top of the windows for privacy (neighbors on top floors can see right into the ground floor room). The neighborhood is not a typical "lively" place: there are some pizza places and even a Wetherspoons in the nearby plaza, but we haven't seen a typical pub.

As we (me and my adult son) were really only looking for an overnight stay after a visit to Wembley Stadium for an England football match and given that a twin room with breakfast was less than £70 gbp, I didn`t expect too much. However, the Langorf was spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished and service was genuinely helpful and efficient (E.G. when enquiring how to use the safe, a member of staff came up to the room and demonstrated...immediately).The room was small but adequate, as was the bathrom, but what impressed was not only the cleanliness but for an old tradtional buiding (the hotel is made up of converted large formerly residential townhouses) but the high standard of decor. Quality workmanship and well maintained (recently renovated?), it had nice ambience, slightly old school and a nice non-chain alternative. Continental breakfast was fine, fresh and reasonable choice; tables were a bit small though. Only gripes would be the tv - only a few channels and the reception/picture was rubbish (advice- get freeview sets), no handset for the shower meaning washing hair only a problem (not a problem for me, but from experience my wife would not have been happy!!) and the nice looking glossy brochure on reception ( Langorf Hotel London Guide) is 2 years out of date (I.E. full of 2010 events, shows etc.) Location is great. A genuine 5 minute easy walk from tube and rail services, less to buses and the immediate area has plenty of bars and restuarants, a multiplex cinema, supermarkets etc. Located on a pleasant residential street in a nice part of North London - easy reach of Central London and, better still for us, only 10 minutes on the tube to Wembley Stadium. Ideal for what we wanted and great value.

i cannot fault the location as we it was equi-distant between our two business appointments. for london, the parking arrangements offered suited us perfectly. the staff were welcoming and polite. we were only offered a very 'limp' continental breakfast which was a huge disappointment as my husband likes a cooked breakfast and i usually read reviews first and make sure the breakfasts get a positive mention. i was of the impression that this hotel provided cooked breakfasts, but it doesn't. in general, i feel that 'the offering' should be prominently displayed as part of the hotel 'blurb'.

We were visiting people in Hampstead Heath and so the location was great. The hotel is 'no frills' but provides almost everything you would need. The net curtains were very dirty. The hot water in the bathroom shower was too hot and couldn't be turned down. Although there was a kettle in the kitchen area, there was no tea or coffee in the room.

Great location - 5 minutes walk from Jubilee Tube station. Continental breakfast was good. Room was small which was ok for this trip since we were just using it for sleeping; very crowded with the suitcases in there. Difficult to watch tv comfortably due to the small room. Next time would choose one of the studio rooms or apartments - had a look at some and they looked good for the price. There was a grubbiness/tiredness to parts of the hotel but the bedding was clean and the breakfast area was fine.

Apart from one or two staff members the rest are rude and morose in their work. Breakfast is terrible and should not even be on offer if it can not be done decently. Clean enough but very old rooms. The staff and service are the most dissapointing elements. Won't return.

I really liked the room and the decor, it was clean and well serviced. The desk staff were brilliant and helped me to sort out the parking voucher. The location was very good. The hotel has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. I really liked the arrangements for the parking, as it was very affordable. We hope to visit again next time we plan a few days in London. Although the breakfast was well presented and looked appetising, there were very few options if you were avoiding wheat! I managed with a bowl of fruit salad which was lovely, but of course the option of a cooked breakfast would have made the hotel perfect. In fact if there were any reason i would not stay again here, it would be the breakfast.

Our accomodation was a very good size and included bedroom, lounge, kitchen and bathroom. A very good breakfast was included in the price. Even though tubes to central London are a 5 minute walk away the hotel is in a very quiet side street. The only criticism was that the shower temperature was a little intermittent.

The room we stayed in was actually a studio flat, with everything you could need & was very quiet. There was no lift in the building-could be a problem for some people & there wasn't any convenient parking.
