The history with the building
Friendly, helpful staff. Well appointed and comfortable with historical interest. Quality, choice and service of breakfast was excellent.
Split site separated by a road next to a traffic island. Not good going over to breakfast/lounge/bar in the pouring rain. Wifi was none existent for our 3days at Langtry Lodge.
The warm welcome and made to feel so special!
The breakfast area and the breakfast itself. The girls in this area were very helpful. Booking in at reception was fine. Hotel easy to find.
Like some others ahead of us booking in we were under the impression that we were booked for the main building. However quite a few including us were put in the lodge. Disappointing really. Pillows like bricks.
the staff were wonderful
breakfast needs to be at 7am on sundays
The staff were excellent both in the dining room, reception and servicing the bedroom. The breakfast was excellent as were the other meals we had. We will definitely come again.
We loved this hotel. This is our first visit. The staff were excellent in every way.Very friendly place. But very attentive to all our needs. The rooms were very comfortable, well decorated. Will be back......soon!! Thank you to every one who made our stay most enjoyable..
Nothing at all.
Lovely building with a nice bit of history. Food was excellent and the room was beautiful
TV didn't work but that didn't really bother us
the location is ideal as it is very quiet and only a 20 minute walk to the city centre. There is also a bus stop within 5 minutes walk. Only had breakfast to eat at the hotel but was very good. The room we had was a very good standard and the staff were helpful. We would stay at this hotel again.
Beautiful breakfast room serving a good breakfast
Small rooms, shower I could hardly get in to.
Very friendly staff, good food, quiet.
Incredibly small shower room in small double room. Basin was far to small to be practical.
Food very good . Excellent restaurant choice
Staff were excellent and at all times caring and attentive--credit to them.
No hot water immediately available in our room [St Leger ] and even after running the hot tap for sometime as your note advised we never got better than just tepid shower water. On our last night we even ran the hot almost to fill the bath and gave up!!!!! This is anything but satisfactory-- needs your urgent attention in your own interest --- and hence my poor rating for facilities. Most disappointing since you were aware of the problem!!
Quietness, service and food. Seemingly happy staff.
Desert spoons with soup, no fresh fruit ie melon etc with breakfast. A minor inconvenience.
Expensive for what it qas
Reception staff funny and very helpful. Room was outstanding Bed huge and comfortable Amazing breakfast really well cooked with quality food
It is pricey but for a special occasion very worth it
Not having to go to different building for breakfast and I wanted to stay in main building the other part did not reflect the hotel
I from the time arriving felt I was being spoilt what a lovely old house full of history .the meals were excellent and a great choice the waiters were very good at there work slightly regimental .not far from the beach and station also asda
only thing I felt Bournemouth was hilly to walk in places
Staff were helpful, rooms very comfortable and good facilities. Well stocked mini bar and complimentary tea, coffee and little toiletries were a treat. Loved the jacuzzi and cooked breakfast was very enjoyable.
The carpet in our room was very grubby so much so, you wouldn't walk around with barefeet. The skirting board and also the bathroom tiles really need a freshen up. The choice of cereals, spreads, etc at breakfast were a little limited.
Location, ease of parking, friendly staff, character of hotel, its history and old world elegance. The only hotel room out of four we stayed in during our trip to the south of England that had a dressing table, with a light above it, a good sized mirror and a window beside giving natural light..obviously arranged by a woman who knows other womens requirements!
Stairs are a bit steep and the plumbing a bit aged.....but what one would expect in this style and age of hotel....it certainly did not detract from our stay
When arriving late at night no one there even though we let them know we were going to be late night porter was drunk as a lord
All the staff were excellent
The room was a little stuffy, and not much hanging space for clothes.
A truly lovely hotel, staff were truly amazing nothing was to much trouble. Went to the banquet, a very special evening at a really amazing price The best hotel I've stayed in
Wifi very poor
Every thing was really nice the staff were really friendly couldn't do enough for you . The rooms where lovely nice and clean . Breakfast was spot on , everything was luxury thinking of having are wedding here .
Bed gave a great nights sleep bath and shower a luxury
Cooked breakfast disappointing considering the quality of all other services Bacon over cooked sausage not as good as it could be
