Score from 471 reviews Very good
Very friendly Staff and good location. Very clean. Good value for money. Really nice outside areas.
The breakfast could be better, toast and some of the hot food was a bit burnt. Room was small as expected but the layout wasn't good. Room door was not well sealed so could hear a lot of noise from corridor.
Super breakfast room great history excellent staff decor of rooms
The staff and the food at dinner was excellent good vaue for the price would stay again but in a different room & BED :-)
Our bed was extremely hard and small double meant room & bed !
Excellent food....super room....fabulous spa bath..friendly staff. We didnt want to leave.Lovely touch to have complimentary tea and coffee and biscuits on arrival.
Leaky bath....water came out over floor but this was all sorted out.other than that iy was a relaxing and enjoyable sta.
As soon as we walked through the door the staff were very welcoming and the reception was very well presented. This presentation stayed with us as we was escorted to our room where we had a wonderful and comfortable stay!
Going back to work after staying in this wonderful hotel
All staff very friendly and helpful - nothing too much trouble. Good food and very comfortable room.
Breakfast a little slow and disorganised but still good food
The history of the hotel
Shower very poor . Poor service from Restaurant staff .
I liked the receptionists and how friendly they were nothing was too much for them would love to stay again.
Stayed for two nights for our silver wedding anniversary. Room very comfortable if a little tired. Staff were wonderful - attention to detail. Food was very good. We had a meal on the second evening which was made extra special by the presentation of meringue swans and sparklers.
From the minute we stepped into the reception we felt welcomed. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who made our trip. From their lovely scrumptious afternoon teas to the beautiful dinners and great breakfasts the food is superb! We cannot recommend this hotel more and the history aspect makes it so special. Location was good, staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was very good.
I thought we were staying in the Manor not the Lodge? would not have booked this had i have known. Very disappointed by this.
We like the fact that there is a history to Langtry Manor. We travel a lot and spend time in modern hotels so this makes a refreshing change. This was the third time we've stayed at this hotel. The food is excellent
Sadly there are several areas now which need a good deal of maintenance. eg. The woodwork on the outside windows of our Lodge room was rotten and needs replacing, as did most of the outside windows
The breakfast was wonderful
Couldn't get wi-fi in our room
Staff, food, environment. Everything!
Staff were very helpful, quite location, food excellent
The cleanliness in the room could have been a bit better, but nothing too tragic just a bit dusty and the bath was'nt cleaned to a very high standard, but everything else perfect bed really comfy.
everything, we had dinner in the evening, it was perfect
there was nothing i did not like, just one minor detail that probably cant change, room 25 getting out of the bath was a challenge as the ceiling is very low and i'm only 5 foot 4 inches.
The staff were all exemplary. No request was too little or too much and was attended to immediately and with total professionalism and friendliness. The Manor itself is lovely and only a ten minute walk to the beach.
Staff Facilities Cleanliness Location Quality of sleep
Wifi was a bit dodgy from out room
BREAKFAST WAS LOVELY
I think we expected a bigger room for what we paid and from the pictures we saw before booking
The location- very good . The hotel- very nice. The room- probably one of the best we stayed in. The staff- very friendly and helpful. All in all very good and would definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you.
The jacuzzi in the room... we spent our wedding night here and it was perfect rose petals and chocs on the bed beautiful room amazing shower
I didnt like the fact of me leaving the jacuzzi or the room or the hotel really could of done with another night
The staff were very helpful and polite Breakfast was excellent
The en-suite bathroom was quite small in our room
Very helpful and friendly staff. Nothing was too much effort.
Bed a bit on the small side but not true of every room
We loved the setting of the hotel, the hotel itself, especially its links with history. Our room was tastefully furnished with luxury towels etc with which to pamper ourselves. The staff in the Dining Room were splendid - efficient, professional and most welcoming.
In the bathroom of our room, Room 6, the tap over the hand basin was badly positioned. Each time we turned it on we were showered with water, as was the toilet and floor. A bit of adjustment is all that is needed to set it to rights!
