With a superb sea view, this hotel with a bar and free parking is in the quieter North Shore area and close to Bispham Tram Station. The location at the start of the northern end of the illuminations is ideal. The hotel has onsite parking for guest cars. The rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast is the usual "full English" and varied daily. The receiption is ably manned by "smiley" and absolute gentlman in every respect. Nothing is is a trouble to him as he attends to guests with cheerful effeciency. My wife and I would definately stay there again.

The location of the hotel was perfect as we were attending a football tournament being held 5 minutes from where we were. The staff were so friendly and could not do enough for us, the evening meal was excellent value for money and the full english breakfast which is included in the price, was very good. Overall a comfortable and clean hotel. Situated right across the road from the sea and the tram stop couldn't be better, and there are plenty of restaurants and small shops located close by. The hotel was a little 'tired' looking.

The Staff were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic value for money and an enjoyable stay. The hotel is conveniently located for restaurants and the supermarket. I would definately stay here again.

Incredibly friendly staff - made us feel so welcome and made a real effort to make sure everything was ok. Fantastic breakfast and very clean. Rooms are small and slightly outdated but do not let it put you off! Will definitely return.

As per other comments ... slightly dated in decor, but hospitality and friendliness of owners was outstanding. Beds were comfortable, linen crisp and clean, bathrooms again slightly outdated but absolutely spotlessly clean ! Abundant tea and coffee, hot choc. Good TV's, nice views ... in a nice quieter area, away from the hustle and bustle of Blackpool centre, but close enough to be easily part of the holiday spirit when wanted ! Cannot fault hotel, food or lovely couple who own it. Only went for a short break for a change ...but would definitely visit again without hesitation ! a jewel of a hotel for all ages. Sea views, fresh air, flat walking along seafront ... ideal !

Friendly plesant staff this is my second time staying at the Langwood hotel it has been slightly renovated from my last stay new carpets and fresh paint in the room .which was very clean The room is small about 7 paces by 4 and seems a little cramped for two guests onsuite is very small also just enough room to stand in

The owner and his staff were so friendly and helpful with personal attention at all times. This is something you don't get at larger and more expensive hotels. If we ever go to Blackpool again we will check the Langwood Hotel for accommodation first.

The staff were fantastic, the bed very comfy, the food excellent, the price very good, there was a singer on the night I was there who was very good. The lift was a bit scary, but it worked fine and got me from g to 3 quickly

Staff very welcoming and friendly,nothing too much trouble for them. Meals were very good with plenty of choice,particularly on the breakfast menu. There was nothing to dislike about the hotel. Excellent value for money.

Warm welcome, owner would do anything for you and always happy. Hotel quite clean and right on the seafront about two miles from the tower, bar downstairs with entertainment. Hotel in need of updating - decor stuck in the 70's, beds not very comfortable and old fashioned bathroom

Excellent friendly and very helpful staff and breakfast very good. Well located for Blackpool centre and parking easy. Hotel was well heated. Hotel was a bit tired (like many British hotels) and in need of updating and modernising. The plumbing was a bit odd, it took ages for the shower to get hot and then it was difficult to control the temperature of the water.

Warm reaxed atmosphere, welcoming staff for whome nothing was too much trouble. The place was well kept, clean and respectable. The food was good and plentyfull, and the price was very reasonable. All in all a good experience.

My partner and I liked the welcome from the staff, they were an extremely pleasant and personable couple. The hotel itself was good value for money and while the decor could do with an update, for the price we paid, we have no complaints whatsoever. The breakfast was excellent and we both wished we were staying longer. Although the hotel is about 3 miles from the centre of Blackpool, (which was extremely busy at the time), we found this area to be quiet and relaxing, just what we wanted. We would definitely stay there again if we visit the area.
