Lanhydrock Hotel & Golf Club  

Location,peace and quiet,atmosphere friendliness, value for money,we have stayed here before and were not disappointed with our return visit.

Location straight off a30 so so easy to find. Good facilities with nice bar and lounge area. Food very well priced and presented and tasted lovely. Breakfast was piping hot and delicious and the rooms spacious spotlessley clean and really comfortable.

Bodmin has lacked a decent hotel - now it has one. The location, just on the outskirts, is excellent, and because its in the middle of a golf course it's nice and quiet, Due to a problem at the bt exchange the in-room wi-fi wasn't working, so the hotel phoned us before we checked in to make sure it wouldn't be a problem. They had made provision for people to use their "back-office" pc's if we had needed to. The restaurant had a nice view and ambiance, and the cooked breakfast was good.

Hotel was superb, greeted with a genuine friendly, helpful receptionist which after a long day and drive was much appreciated. My room was excellent, big, extremely comfortable and the bathroom was utter luxury. I had french doors over looking the golf course which in the summer would be amazing. The bed was very comfortable and I had a good night's sleep which is always a bonus when your away. I will absolutley stay here again.

Think the twin beds are too small and make the duvet fell too big, almost half of the duvet on the floor the next morning.

Central location for touring or visiting attractions in Cornwall.

Evening restaurant menu was limited (5 choices of main course were not particularly inspiring) if the stay was longer than a couple of nights.

Views, layout of hotel, light, spacious, plenty of parking, access, location perfect for access to all of Cornwall, comfortable well appointed rooms.

Staff were welcoming and very friendly and helpful. The room was large and airy wnd had excellent facilities. The breakfast was plentiful and well served. The evening bar meals were really superb. Overall, we enjoyed a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Service at breakfast was poor, room service was very very slow . Also issues with the T.v

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Even the cleaning staff greeted us as we walked past in the morning. Made us feel we were welcome and not an inconvenience which they had to endure. The food was exceptional and the same price as one would spend in the local pub. A total surprise considering the luxurious surroundings both outside and inside the Hotel. The view was stunning, even though I am not a golfer. We wished we could have stayed longer, but we had to be at the Minack in Cornwall the next day, to put on a show. We will certainly use the Hotel again. Highly recommended.
