Lanhydrock Hotel & Golf Club  

Location straight off a30 so so easy to find. Good facilities with nice bar and lounge area. Food very well priced and presented and tasted lovely. Breakfast was piping hot and delicious and the rooms spacious spotlessley clean and really comfortable.

Bodmin has lacked a decent hotel - now it has one. The location, just on the outskirts, is excellent, and because its in the middle of a golf course it's nice and quiet, Due to a problem at the bt exchange the in-room wi-fi wasn't working, so the hotel phoned us before we checked in to make sure it wouldn't be a problem. They had made provision for people to use their "back-office" pc's if we had needed to. The restaurant had a nice view and ambiance, and the cooked breakfast was good.

Hotel was superb, greeted with a genuine friendly, helpful receptionist which after a long day and drive was much appreciated. My room was excellent, big, extremely comfortable and the bathroom was utter luxury. I had french doors over looking the golf course which in the summer would be amazing. The bed was very comfortable and I had a good night's sleep which is always a bonus when your away. I will absolutley stay here again.

Excellent service. Breakfast was good, beautifully cooked, good choice, pleasant staff Bistro was excellent, attentive service, well cooked food, choice on menu was not extensive but changed daily. Chef must be congratulated on the standard of all the food we had during our stay. As I have a several severe food allergies the chef was able to prepare my selected choice especially. Room was lovely, clean and very comfortable. We would definitely recommend the hotel.

The only suggestion would be to install a spa, say sauna, and/or steam room, or infra-red cabins, this may appeal to both the golf players and non-golfers alike. Was not sure if the vegetarian choice would be adequate for some.

It is a comfortable friendly hotel with a good quality dining facility and is well located.

Tv reception could be better

Location superb. Ideal to visit Eden Project and Fowey.Staff were excellent, friendly and accomadating. Had some lovely meals, whilst overlooking beautiful golf course. I would certainly recommend it to my family and friends.

The view form the room of the golf course was delightful also the food in the resturant was reasonably priced and excellant quality.

The rooms were lovely and we were well placed away from any noise. The staff were exceptionally helpful.

The breakfast was very poor. All kept warm on ban maries. Fried eggs looked like rubbers. No fresh fish. We were extremely disappointed in them. We did speak to the manager before we left. Doubt if anything would have been changed. Pity really as this was a down side to a lovely stay.

The food was excellent and the rooms were comfortable - tho the pillows were not good at all.

Pillows were not very good......I Will bring my own next time!
