Lanhydrock Hotel & Golf Club  

This is a beautiful hotel with excellent high standard rooms.

Breakfast was a little disappointing, didn't want a full cooked breakfast so ordered porridge, it wasn't cooked properly and was really gloopy.

It was well appointed for our trip to Cornwall which was a mix of business & pleasure. We visited the nearby Lanhdrock House (leisure) and my business was in St Austell & Bodmin. I travel a lot around the UK and tend to use chain hotels. But this was a very nice hotel and the staff were very friendly, it made our stay.

Nothing Very quiet

Nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely. We felt that we could relax without getting in anyones way. There were two Weddings there over the weekend but there was no extra noise and we still had all the attention we needed.

Central location for touring or visiting attractions in Cornwall.

Evening restaurant menu was limited (5 choices of main course were not particularly inspiring) if the stay was longer than a couple of nights.

Views, layout of hotel, light, spacious, plenty of parking, access, location perfect for access to all of Cornwall, comfortable well appointed rooms.

Staff were welcoming and very friendly and helpful. The room was large and airy wnd had excellent facilities. The breakfast was plentiful and well served. The evening bar meals were really superb. Overall, we enjoyed a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Service at breakfast was poor, room service was very very slow . Also issues with the T.v

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Even the cleaning staff greeted us as we walked past in the morning. Made us feel we were welcome and not an inconvenience which they had to endure. The food was exceptional and the same price as one would spend in the local pub. A total surprise considering the luxurious surroundings both outside and inside the Hotel. The view was stunning, even though I am not a golfer. We wished we could have stayed longer, but we had to be at the Minack in Cornwall the next day, to put on a show. We will certainly use the Hotel again. Highly recommended.
