I checked in late and checked out early so didn't really use the hotel facilities. The room was OK, clean and comfortable but quite small. Its easy to get to with transport only a very short walk away.

Our double bed was the small size. The bathroom seemed bigger than the bedroom. The lift is a bit dinky with room for 2 only or 1 with luggage. The walls are a bit thin; it was easy to follow conversations from the adjoining room.

Friendly, clean and very good value for money. Also the excellent Leisure Facilities included in the price.

Nothing major but, made a room request 1 month in advance which was not fullfilled. Booked a twin room but ended up with a double bed plus good quality camp bed.

Clean and cozy room, comfortable beds and linen, quality toiletry, convenient hairdryer, free coffee/tea set+cookies in the room, friendly and helpful staff, considerably close to train station (daily trips to London were easy and fast), Sainbury's store in the nearby open also at night time, the area where the hotel is located quite calm and safe.

Flushing in the WC worked not well (you had to push the arm 2-6 times before it flushed), but I believe we could solve this by asking to change the room, although we decided not to do this, as the time spent in the hotel, and, respectively, in the WC, was not worth such efforts :)

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping filled up the welcome tray day by day for free. The WiFi was free as well. There was an iPod dock which also had an alarm function. The bathroom had a good size and you could easily refresh the air in the room if you opened both of the windows. The electric radiator was fantastic. It heated up the both the room and the bathroom within a few minutes. The LCD TV had a good size and you can plug in your flash drive to play music or photo slideshows from it (You cannot play videos!) There was a complimentary entry to the Solutions Center where we found a lot of strengthening and cardio machines and jacuzzi, a pool, a sauna and a steam cabin as well. We really enjoyed staying there. There is a Sainbury's store close, the mall can be reached in a minute, and the hotel is between the West Croydon and East Croydon stations (8 minutes by foot) where you can take the railways to get into the centre within 15-25 minutes. You can get into McDonald's, Burger King or KFC in about 5-10 minutes walk if you'd like to eat there. Everything is close and I think it's the best place to stay in London, if you don't want to be in the centre of the city!

If you want to stay a lot in the hotel maybe you'll find the room size small, but for us it was simply perfect because we only spent 2-3 hours in the besides sleeping.

Extremely noisy rooms. Near a busy road and there was no noise deadening - it was as if the window was wide open. I will not stay there again

I looooovvvveeee Lansdowne! It is value for money! Free gym incl. Which has jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Swimming pool is small (not the average 25m- but that's not a bad thing when you just want to chill!). Right next to croydon town centre for food and shopping. Next to trams and bus stops (some buses are 24 hour) and East Croydon station with fast trains to Victoria and London Brigde which each take approx. 15Mins. Most importantly, the rooms are clean. Some of the rooms are more spacious than others but if you just want a place to feel comfortable (and may I add clean!- Again) then this is the place! Free wi-fi! And the speed is more than reasonable (I happily watched loads of movies). A selection of sky channels and generally happy with the 24 hour service available at the reception. Also a bar/restaurant downstairs doing 3 course meals for £5.99. On booking.com you get some great deals (when it is usually supposed to be £55 per night for a double room it can be as little as £38!)

Can't say a bad thing! Really recommend it- not too much otherwise there won't be any room for me and my boyfriend :) enjoy!

The room was spacious and clean and bright.

The curtains are a little short so the sun beamed through in the morning when I wanted to sleep longer. Also there was road works being done outside so was noisy In the morning.

The bed was very comfy, the staff were lovely

The noise from the main road could have been prevented if the double glazed window had been more secure. It did not close very well. There was damp on one of the walls.

Great location less than 10min walk from east croydon station. The rooms where clean and the facilities such as pool, sauna and gym are included in stay which is great to unwind after a long day shoppin.

The only negative is the twin rooms dont have two beds which you would expect from a twin room. The rooms arent big enough for more than 2-3person max. however the staff were very accomodating, we enjoyed our stay.

It was all good and very reasonably priced

Some horrid previous resident had picked their nose and wiped it on the wall. Bathroom window didn't close properly on a very cold day.

Friendly and helpful staff. Inclusive and easy access of the gym and pool attached to hotel Close to rail travel. Pleasant décor. Clean lounge was clean, had Guinness on tap and staff were sociable. Overall, a fabulous hotel in which to relax and also energise yourself with Solutions health club.

Unfortunately noise could be heard from outside. No drawers to put clothes in. Off-site parking. A small lift.

The rooms were if adequate size for short trips.Rooms very clean The iPod dock was a welcome addition. The room was very warm compared to Jury's where we stayed last time. Close to the Underground.

The room we first had in Floor 3 was very noisy due to people outside at nightclub and also traffic noise. We were moved to Floor 4 but traffic noise still there. Rooms should be better glazed

I was so disapointed with the fact that you didn't say online that your gym and spa facilaties were not avalable over the easter holiday as that was one reason we chose to have a break also the bar and resturant was closed the whole time we where there and we had to find other places to eat and drink it really was not as nice of a stay as we had hoped for and don't think I could come back

Almost fell over the bed as soon as you walked in to the room the bathroom was bigger than the main room pictures of hotel made room to be a lot bigger than actually is

Internet--claimed free wifi but painfully slow and then the sever went down and I needed to call the desk to have it re-set. I think it is misleading to say you have free wifi and it be soo soo bad!
