On the coast at Eastbourne, the View Hotel offers modern en suite rooms, most of which have balconies. Situated on the main promenade, the beach is just a few minutes’ walk.

PERHAPS I'M EASILY PLEASED, BUT I DID NOT TAKE A DISLIKE TO ANYTHING
Staff are very friendly, room was massive perfect if you have children. The hotel is in the best location i would definetaly reccomend
did not have a pool :(
Large single room is always welcome. Food in bar was good, as was breakfast. Staff all helpful and friendly. The lounges are all very spacious and welcoming. All in all, a good stay in a very pleasant sea-front hotel.
The hotel is showing its age a little, and would benefit from redecoration throughout. It is a little further from the centre of Eastbourne than expected, but the sea-front walk is not a problem.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. I left something at the hotel and this was sent to me by post. This is a good value hotel on the seafront
The hotel was clean tidy, the food was excellent and all members of staff polite.
The friendliness of the staff Excellent choice of food for breakfast .comfortable lounge areas,
Room had beautiful sea views but as it was at the front the noise of passing traffic was quite noisy when the window was open
Excellent breakfast fare.
Great location for the airshow Bar staff friendly
Bed was way too soft Room was small but adequate Room felt quite dated and could do with a refurb to update it Wifi non existent on the 3rd floor despite this being a big selling point
Fantastic large room which was spotlessly clean. Friendly helpful staff.
The sandwiches were a bit small for £5, with the crusts cut off. Restaurant price is a bit steep, but the bar food is great.
Excellent staff, buffet breakfast selection superb, decent size room, fantastic location.
Very steep price, egg shell found in egg at breakfast, ran out of hot water whilst taking a shower.
dull furnishings, fabrics and carpets. our room 105 had ghastly outlook. breakfast mediocre - no fried eggs available and when requested told 'they are coming' took a long time !!! hate precooked eggs anyway.
location Price Value for money food options free wifi
lack of private parking- had to use on-street parking. Didn't know about getting cheap ticket from reception, I had already fed the parking ticket machine!
Location , view, breakfast in room, staff so helpful with our individual needs !
Pillows flat, bed lumpy
Excellent location, ambience, and restaurant. Very good room. Traditional. Relaxing feel. Staff very helpful.
hotel in wonderful spot and good standards
Music thumping in evening but realise you have to have functions
Location, friendly staff and reasonably priced.
A lot of hotels offer twin double beds now, was disappointed to have single beds.
food,excellent room staff--just a very nice hotel
nothing worth mentioning
Great location. Good value for money.
The bed was not very comfy, poor wi-fi (was not working at all actually), it was also too loud so didn't manage to get any sleep :( Could be just the room location...
Good Location and Friendly Staff. Very close to the town centre and almost on the Beach.
No Airconditioning or Fans in Room - Stifling Hot. Breakfast - Awful - Fried eggs fresh from the kitchen like Rubber with solid yolks, Bacon Swimming in a pool of Fat, Burnt Hash Browns, and Sausages that were awful with a very low meat content and no taste at all. I would rate this hotel as £60 per night max a room - £100 deserves much higher standard than this.
More or less everything
Bathroom too hot and stuffy - more ventilation needed.
Seagull noises Parking access Stairs with suitcases
Friendly and attentive staff.
Room was south facing and very warm during the day and night time despite leaving the window open. No air conditioning or fans in the room.
We paid extra for a room with a sea view and it was worth it - the triple aspect view was delightful. Windows opened as well, which was welcome. Bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. A member of reception staff efficiently arranged a taxi, which appeared quickly & was competitively priced.
Having paid £250 for 2 nights, there were some niggles which I wouldn't have expected: we didn't use the wardrobe as there had obviously been a damp problem and it smelt musty. I couldn't get the extractor fan in the bathroom to work. A 'turn off the light' sign in the bathroom had been stuck to the wall at a crazy angle, giving a slap-dash impression.
The location of the hotel was excellent close to the beach and within easy walking distance to the shops. Friendly staff who were happy to help if required.
Good value for money Excellent room , spacious with a lovely view.
