What is there not to like? Staff are very friendly and welcoming - nothing too much trouble. Room (gate house junior suite) cosy and ideal if accompanied by a dog - well equipped, quiet and clean - worth paying a bit extra. Breakfast perfect for any stay, especially in January. Evening meals very high quality, large choice and great value. Dogs are welcomed, not tolerated. Whole ambience relaxed, friendly and unbeatable. Return guaranteed.
150 yard walk (good) along dark lane from gate house to hotel (not so good). Need torch (supplied by hotel). No footpath. Was offered lift by staff.
Everything was perfect especially the food
Very comfortable well appointed room. Excellent food in restaurant. Staff were very accomodating to our early departure to catch Ireland ferry by setting up a breakfest table in the reception area.
Nothing to note here!
Good food, good atmosphere, very clean room, helpful staff
Lastra farm on the northern side of Anglesey is clean, comfortable, has excellent food and a friendly staff. Its wonderful location.in this ancient landscape of magic and mystery will delight all those with a sense of history.
Nothing to dislike.
Very helpful reception. Excellent restaurant which exceeded expectations. Good direction information Pleasant staff
Room was slightly small
Lovely white sheets and towels. The new kettle was a good idea.Ample car parking.Breakfast in the conservatory was very bright and cheerful and the evening meal in the dining room was very cosy.
We could not find anything to complain about.
I booked the superior double which was in a little gate house 200m from hotel. I had a sitting room, bedroom and lovely bathroom facilities. The wifi was a bonus and reliable. It was like a little cottage. Hotel food was very good
We were lent a local O.S. map which made a huge difference to our enjoyment of the area and was a really nice touch.
Friendly place. Nothing was too much of a problem
Beds were a little soft
An excellent and most pleasant stay. The accommodation was wonderful as we're all the staff. The food - outstanding. Comfortable and clean rooms. A very warm and welcoming atmosphere. This was our second visit to Lastra farm and whilst I'm sure there are many other very good places on Angelsey we have already reserved our place for next year.
Nice smart room, very good breakfast
Evening dining finished too early
Stayed one night as a stopover on way to Ireland by ferry. Warm welcome and friendly staff. Comfortable room. Excellent restaurant food.
Would have like to have stayed longer.
Quiet, friendly and comfortable stay. Food very nice and well presented. Proprietor extremely welcoming.Dining in the conservatory was lovely and light for breakfast and evening meals.
There was only one chair in our bedroom and no dedicated lounge for residents in the hotel. In bad weather this would be useful.
Food, staff, location
Breakfast was best ever. excellent room , very friendly hotel will return. steve cheshire
Really enjoyed our stay at Lastra Farm. The room was well equipped, spacious and very comfortable. We dined in the restaurant and can recommend the food. The staff were friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. Even the weather was good! This is a place we intend to return to.
Sometimes the food although excellent was just too hot. Better than being cold though.
Stayed in the lodge, room was clean and comfortable with great Wi-Fi. Dinner was first class fresh ingredients and well cooked.Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast offered plenty of choice with great quality
Staff really friendly. Communication great. Fab location (although quite remote!). Breakfast was fantastic...it's making me hungry thinking about it!
Fabulous help from Sue and the owner - we were researching family history & they were a great help
We were in the gatehouse & found getting out to go to the main house/restaurant was risky with the traffic
staff friendly and welcoming very clean nice room with modern bathroom
Excellent dinner & breakfast. Quiet country location.
We stayed in the Gate House in a very comfortable and tasteful room. The main Farm house was short walk away for breakfast which was excellent .We also dined in the evening. Well worth it ,as again the food was excellent .Thanks to the staff, they were great.
Extremely friendly staff and atmosphere
