Close proximity to the tube and bus links and everything in central London is close by. The room was good, although a little tired, and perfect for our needs.

Decor and carpet a bit tired but the facilities are very good.

Rather new furniture, good self-catering facilities, micrawave, small fridge, kitchen tools etc. Room was big compared to London standards.

The bed sheets had holes in them on some days, the bathroom had some sewer smell.

Great location for Marylebone High Street, Baker Street Tube and other London Attractions. Nice size room and lift to the floor I was on (I had a lot of luggage!).

The bed was not comfortable at all...it wasn't a proper mattress in my opinion. The air conditioning wasn't working properly on my first night and I had to ask 3 times before it was sorted. This was at the height of the summer and the heat wave. I was told that they were hoping to refurbish the hotel - it really needs it. The carpets are worn and the bed in my room definitely needed replacing. However, I would stay here again, as the location and value for money was good.

Nice entrance with friendly girl at the reception.

Been to London quite a few times so know what to expect. The executive room looked like it could use some maintenance. Louzy bed, matras worn out, not giving any support. Very noisy room, everytime the elevator was used the engine made the walls tremble. Toilet seat unscrewed, so moving around, shaving mirror hanging loose, broken off the wall and the showerhead falling off the hose. The Marylebone district rocks, but for more than €200 per night (excl breakfast) I want the details to be perfect. Would not recommend this hotel!

Excellent location, friendly helpful staff. Individual style hotel, good for a short break.

The carpets were a bit tired/dirty as were some of the fixtures and fittings. Could hear heavy footed people upstairs probably due to the age of the building and old floorboards.

The hotel staff were extremely welcoming, and the hotel was well aired. The room was a nice size and the bathroom facilities were great. The hotel is placed on a quiet road, but near to the main streets for easy access to restaurants etc

The hotel's elevator was extremely slow and it stopped before the floor I was sleeping on, so I had to carry my heavy bag up another flight of narrow, spiral stairs. The bed was essentially a futon mattress on an extremely soft and very unsupportive base. For this reason I incurred extreme back pain and had a terrible nights sleep.

Comfortable bed Patio area Good location Fridge

Small for an executive suite Silly glass partition that you have to watch the TV through and actually makes the room feel smaller Crazy shower, although very powerful be prepared to get wet before you can get in

Meant to be highest class of room but no air conditioning as per Booking.com specification. Indeed room had no fittings for aircon. Window ventilation also poor meaning that the bed platform in the duplex room remained very stuffy, almost impossible to sleep as no way of being able to adjust temperature. While previous visit acceptable this will mean that I will not return in future. Care also as the photos do not show actual room decor etc; see other reviewers comments.

    Staff attentiveness, air conditioning, location

Pictures do not reflect room decor, very 'white washed' and 'ulterian' feel. Room felt like a box.

Very kind staff and optimal position in Marylebone close to the Baker Street Underground and at walking distance from Oxford Street.

Small rooms and tight spaces, some outdated furniture, quite different from the pictures on the website. For sure not a 4 stars hotel.

Location was great, very central yet very quiet. The staff were very helpful and personable.

We stayed in the 'executive suite' which was in the eaves. It was in desperate need of refurbishment with scuffed furniture, marked walls and very stained carpets. It looked nothing like the photos on booking.com. We payed £170 per night which was extertionate for the state of the room.

Got a room in the new building across the street from the reception- brightly renovated room, reasonable size.

The room is divided into 2 sections with connecting stairs- bed is on the upper level- unsuitable for even slightly physically challenged guests

The lift was always a problem as we got stuck in it every time we used it. Took 15 mins to get from the room to the front door which was frustrating.
