The location was good If you are disabled, elderly or have young children, do not stay in this hotel. The lift only goes to the 3rd floor we were on the 4th floor. I am suprised that the narrow winding stairs passed building regs. The carpet was stained, filthy and thread bare. This hotel badly need to be refurbished. The rooms were way too small for the amount of people advertised to stay in them. The shower was hopless. The guy on reception was non responsive. Never again

Very modern, bright and well designed space. Magazines and coffee table books were high quality. Fridge well stocked. The wooden floor hadn't been swept properly.

Good location for the meetings I had to attend It does not live up to expectations. The description and photographs on the Internet do not represent the reality. Hotel rooms need renovation and the cleanliness of the room, particularly the bathroom, needs to be vastly improved. Instructions are needed for operation of equipment such as the steam shower and the combination microwave oven but they were not provided. Tv did not work on arrival and was not repaired until afternoon of second day, with no compensation. Free wi-fi is good but to advertise a mini-office in each room is a joke as the provided pc is set up only to access the Internet and is extremely slow.

The hotel is really disappointing and terrible, the pictures that were in the site of booking.com were not as it looked like in real life. The room was terribly small and with old furniture. This hotel is not more then two stars and the price of it is for four.

The central london location was fantastic and as we were travelling as a group of 3 they had a room to accommodate us. (Most hotels dont seem to do rooms for 3 adults). The hotel staff were very friendly and the cost of the room was very reasonable for such a central london location (just off Marleybone). The only problem I had was that the room was extremely small and so was the bathroom. Apparently they did have larger rooms but none available during our stay. So I would definitely recommend asking for a large room. If you manage to get a larger room then the LA Suite is a fantastic place to stay.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, five minutes walk away from Baker Street tube and in a nice area if you had time to shop during the day. Although the decoration of the room was good, there were a few details that could have been improved. There was a rip on the sofa arm, the bathroom lino looked a bit grotty and the windows were dirty. I returned from an event at 11.45pm and was told that I could not be provided with any food. The takeaway endorsed by the hotel had stopped serving and there were no in-house facilities. There were nuts and an oat bar in the minibar but that hardly constitutes a meal. I couldn't believe that was the case in central London! Very comfortable bed though!

Enjoyed our stay at London, the location was excellent - walking distance of some good attractions and Hamleys! The size of the room was excellent...was impressed by the kitchen facilities and the comfortable bed. Breakfast was good, although the pastries could have been a bit bigger. The sofabed was uncomfortable for my 9 year old son. The cleaning could have been more thorough....I Found some old chewing gum stuck to the carpet under the sofabed and though the bathroom looked a little dated / grubby. Could not work out how to use the jacuzzi bath but as we didn't mention this to reception, cannot really fault the hotel because I did not give them a chance to help.

Staff were helpful and friendly. The location was perfect as I was travelling for business. . The sofa was a bit grubby and the furniture had some chip marks so I would recommend a deep clean in this all white cube of a room. Apart from that it was suitable for my needs

I liked the familiar and warm atmosphere; the size of the hotel which makes you feel in a private house. the lackness of cutlery in the room...if you want a cup of tea , you have to ask for teaspoons !!

The LA suites are incredibly stylish, comfortable and well equipped - every eventuality seems catered for, more what you would expect of a 5 star hotel. The facilities for working whilst on business are exceptionally thought through, with plenty of desk space plus areas in which to relax.

La suite hotel is a small "boutique hotel", with no basic services available. Not a 4 star boutique hotel because we have stayed in other city hotels 4 star ones but this one lucks of some basic services. I willnot choose that again in my trips to London. The only good thing is the location which is about 8 mins from Oxford street 2 minutes from Marylebone and 2 mins from Madame Tussaud, and Baker street Tube. No basic services availabel. A part time guy was working the day we arrived, who barely knew anything to tell us about the services offered by the hotel. ALso no portman or the guy who was working that day didnt help with luggages and we were on the first floor with my pregnant sister. We had to carry up everything. Also we book an executive suite for three guests and they had one double bed and one arm chair which we had to make ourselves a bed and the staff guy didnt even try to help to do it. So not good to book there again.

“In a good central position with a car park across the road from the back entrance. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and well organised. Very quiet considering the hotel is in the centre of London. Bed was extremely comfortable and bathroom and bedroom were both spotlessly clean. Used room service in the evning - promptly delivered and an excellent steak baguette. Plenty of choices at the continental breakfast next morning. Thought the wooden bedroom floors would be a problem but never heard anything from room above.” Maureen, Bournemouth |
