Ideal for the Olympic Stadium in Stratford, this B&B offers beautiful views of the Essex countryside. Situated in private grounds, it is located only 7 miles from Stansted Airport. The Latchmead offers early-starter breakfasts for guests leaving before 07:30. All spacious rooms feature a TV and DVD player. There is also a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Each room overlooks either the countryside or gardens. Latchmead Bed & Breakfast is 5 minutes’ drive from Bishop’s Stortford Train Station with links to London and Cambridge. La pulizia dell hotel e la bellezza della struttura. Nella pagina dell hotel in italiano e' menzionato un trasporto gratutito all aereoporto inesistente! abbiamo pagato 15 pound per fare 4 miglia vergognoso!!!On the Italian page of the hotel it mentions a free transport to the airport but it does not exist! we paid 15 pounds for 4 miles!! what a shame!

“We received a warm welcome from Melvyn and Cindy. The accommodation was first class, everything was to the highest standard, very clean, attention to detail to make you feel comfortable and rooms were luxurious. The bed was so comfortable, towels were thick and smelt great. Lighting was wonderful, you could have romantic lighting or full on to do make up etc. The dining area was out of this world, everything that you need to make various coffee's, teas were available for everyone to help themselves and you can also help yourself to breakfast 24/7 all inclusive of the price. Melvyn and Cindy also gave us fantastic suggestions about where to eat and they were 100% spot on. It felt like nothing was too much for them and they wanted our stay to be a very happy one. There are also Morgan cars for you to look at and hire. We cannot recommend this B&B enough, we have stayed in many places throughout the UK but this is number 1.
