Cute little hotel on a quiet street close to restaurants, Hyde Park, and tube station. Room was small but perfectly fine for 1 person, clean, comfortable, decent breakfast. Would stay there again for the price and location
My room was right at the stairs so I could hear people going up and down at night and in the morning. Quieted down by 11:30 though
Small but confortable room, very clean. I though that the shared bathroom would be a problem, but there is one per floor, and only few rooms per floor, so it was ok. The location is great. I will surely come back to this hotel next time I'm in London.
The reception closes at 23h, so you cannot forget to let them know if you ar going to arrive later than that.
We were visiting london on a very restricted budget which is why we chose this hotel. It was only £55 and this included a really good breakfast. The room was very clean but basic. Just what we paid for really.
We didn't realise we had a shared bathroom and if the hotel had been busy, this could have been really embarrassing. I didn t mind but being told beforehand would have helped.
Comfortable bed, large spacious room, freedom to come and go. Relaxed informal atmosphere
We stayed in a room for four people with en suite facilities. It was very well appointed and clean and extremely spacious. It also had a small kitchen area that we weren't expecting, although there was no sink. The cooked breakfast was included and we all enjoyed it very much. I was very impressed with what we got for the money and would definitely stay there again.
Location. Free Wi-Fi.
The room was quit, very clear and large considering the standards of London. Good position in front of hyde park e near the metro station.
Struggled for years to get reasonably priced accom for five in Central London. This was the perfect find. Basic but a Great location, nice staff, brilliant price including a cooked to order breakfast. It had a big room with three singles and a brand new bathroom with a great shower over the bath. Would definitely come here again. Be warned that I think, but am not certain, that this family room is the only ensuite in the hotel.
Can't think of anything negative to say about it. The little bar they have is only open a few days a week but it's only a few seconds walk from Bayswater road and some great pubs that it's not really an issue unless you have young children which ours are not anymore.
Very well situated closed to hyde park and 10 mn from Oxford street or Harrods by bus. The must on the central line of the London tube. The breakfast was fantastic. We were a familly with 3 teenagers .
But we were upset at the reception : very impersonnel , as a youthhostel it was a lack of friendly conversation. I was asking for my ID card and the payment immediately at teh check in. In the check out I gave back the keys and thats it . No word if we have a good travel, if we enjoy our stay at the hotel nor any have a nice journey back home. a lack of smile and friendly speacking. what a pity when you work in a hotel
The room and facilities were very clean. The hotel was in a great location, very close to two metro stations, opposite Hyde park, with many shops, pubs, restaurants nearby. The staff was helpful. The room was bigger than expected. Breakfast was quite good.
At night the room was very cold. The windows were old and let the cold in. The radiator was working full during the day but it seemed to be off at night.
Location was great. Quite building, staff are efficient and arrival went smoothly. Room small but comfortable. Place clean and tidy. No complaints re price, good value for money
Everything satisfactory. Staff polite snd efficient but not over friendly. Breakfast adequate but a bit cold. Coffe awful
For a low-priced place, I was concerned about cleanliness. I can't fault the communal areas such as the reception, stairs, hallways and dining room. The bedroom was functional rather than deluxe, but great value for money.
No en-suite, but for the price I can share a spotless bathroom.
The staf was very kind. The room was clean en there was a lot of space. The room was very clean. Also the breakfast was very Nice.
Great locality, lovely staff
Shared bathroom but we knew it was, and it was clean
location is convenient!
it's wet of the carpet, so it smells wetting in the entire room....carpet is way too thick to dry ever
・Very convenient location to explore central London (near to Queensway st., Bayswater st., and bus stops) ・Close to supermarket (SPAR: 1-2 min walk, Sainsbury: 5min walk) ・English hot breakfast is included ・Shared bath but it was clean and I did not need to wait like cheap hostels ・You have small lavatory, electric pot, cup and glass with tea bags instant coffee and suger/milk in your room ・You can leave your suitcase after check-out without paying extra charge ・Good reasonable price and equipments to stay in front of Hyde Park, I liked this place!
・No elevator, so it is exhausting to carry heavy suitcase to accommodation floor (my room was on 3rd floor (=4th in US)) ・Staff did not carry mobile phone with her when she is out of reception. So no one answered to the phone and I had to shout aloud to find someone then wait for 10 min to check-in.
Location, Cleanness, Breakfast
Walk to tube and Hyde Park, warm friendly welcome, spotlessly clean room, felt very safe and secure as a sole female traveller.
not much to dislike - shared bathroom might be a little tricky for some if rooms are full - but worth it for the great price and location.
Simple but decent B&B inside Latvian cultural centre which gives it an edge. Freshly made English breakfast in the morning also very nice!
Location - right next to Central, Green and District lines, also the buses. Staff was very welcoming, the breakfast was nice - traditional english breakfast, as well as other options like toast, jam, butter, cereals, yoghurt. Shared bathroom was very clean, the bed was comfy and there wasn't very much noise from the street.
Nothing. But for some people stairs might be heavy to climb.
Value for money. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Bed was too soft. In-room wifi was free but didn't work.
We booked this as I was doing a half marathon in Hyde park hotel is really close and meant I could leave my family to have breakfast and enjoy london while I ran.
Everything was great for the price. Fresh cooked breakfast, I couldn't fault it. I feel I can afford to go to London more often now I have found this hotel. The Latvian lager was the best lager I had ever tasted and the people in the bar chatted to me as I was on my own - very nice and friendly.
Posizione perfetta. Personale disponibile.
