Launceston Villa

Whitby is a great weekend retreat for us, a couple or more times a year. Our stay at Launceston Villa was excellent.comfortable,relaxed and with a great breakfast included. Great value.

Unfortunately our bathroom was small

The room was very modern, clean, and had all we wanted to hand. The room had en-suite facilities, and the decor was fabulous. The owners, Donna & Jamie were very welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble, we loved our stay and would stop again if we go to visit Whitby again.

The Launceston was absolutely spotless, a pleasure to stay in. Our room was modern and tastefully decorated , the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous, very well cooked. I have stayed in hotels where I think twice about using the cutlery but I would happily have eaten off the floor in this one, it was just so clean. A real home from home and if you are thinking of booking a B and B in Whitby then try this little gem. We will certainly be going back.

My husband and I went for a winter weekend break, we arrived and Jamie was there to take our bag up to the room, we were given the choice of two rooms, both were lovely, very comfortable. We went out the following day and when we returned our beds had been made and we had been given clean towels. The Full English Breakfast was lovely there was also a choice of cereals, grapefruit and yogurt too. I would highly recommend Launceston Villas for your stay,there is private parking to the rear of the B&B. It is only a short walk to Whitby Harbour and seafront with lots of places to visit in and around the area, Jamie and Donna are very accomodating, nothing is too much trouble.

Everything was superb, food was excellent and the room was really clean and tidy as was the rest of the accommodation, staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble, we were made to feel really at home

Owners couldn't be friendlier. Really stylish and beautifully maintained rooms - I'm a pedantic old bugger, and I like to think this place is just like I'd done it myself. Great breakfast. Good location just off town centre and with private parking.

En-suite a little tight on space. Road noise at front of house, choice of alternative non cooked breakfast limited.

This is a three bedroom bed and breakfast. Run by a pleasant young couple. The room was immaculate and nothing forgotten , toiletries,hairdryer and a modern ensuite shower and toilet. although on a main road the noise of passing traffic is minor and sleep quality excellent. A ten minute walk to the centre of Whitby and not particularly steep. Ample off road parking at the rear of the premises. A good base to see the North York moors and Whitby. A very nice breakfast.

My wife and I could not fault the place and would book again/ recommend to family and friends.

Immaculate accommodation, excellent location, comfortable and tastefully decorated room. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Own parking area a real bonus in Whitby! Good breakfast, nicely cooked and presented. The owners were friendly but not intrusively so. Would recommend-we plan to stay there again.

The owners were friendly and the room was very nice. The situation of the B&B is good, just a small walk to the Center of Whitby. Would stay there again!
