    Nothing

My room was on the last floor, so there was very hot, however windows were unable to open. Moreover the floor was significantly uneven. When I put ma bag under the table or on the table, it was rolling to the second wall. I understand that everyone has specific religion, I am Christian as well, but when The staff asked me to be really quiet (I have not done anything loud, just was carrying my bag) and asked my partner if I am her husband, if not, they offered us twin room with two beds instead of double room which I reserved, it was enough. There is an information in the hall that breakfast starts at 8.00, but the next day they informed me that not 8.00, but 8.30. Because of it I was late. In my opinion Launde should put more information about their offer to the booking.com because if I would know I would never to decide to stay with them.

this is pretty basic accommodations here. nothing special with no TV or anything to disrupt your relaxation. the grounds are wonderful and the staff very helpful and kind. we arrived late and called ahead to see if there was a pub nearby and they had the kitchen make us something when we arrived. Remember this is a place that is used for retreats and so it is not designed for the traveler but it worked as a nice respite for us. This is a special place and if you choose to stay here be aware of that and enjoy it for what it is....not what you wish it was. It is way out in the middle of the countryside and not easy to find.

rooms are pretty sparse. like 1950's Motel 6 sparse or less. our room had damage to the shower supports under the shower pan and the water ceased to run in the morning for about 10 minutes???? Beds are full size not queen.

I liked nice crew, homey atmosphere and coseye rooms. I left my jacket on check out, staff were so helpful to post it to my address, it gave me good impression of Launde abbey.

Finding the place in late evening was troublesome.

Wish we could find a Launde Abbey at every destination. It was a wonderful experience.

    No time to stay longer.

The location is perfect for a relaxing couple of days in the south Leicestershire countryside. The accomadation has been recently refurbished and is very comfortable. Really helpful advice about local walks.

The breakfast was served buffet style. On our first morning things went okay. On the second morning there was hardly any food left and they had completely run out of bread. It would have been better if someone had apologised.
