friendly welcome, comfy beds and a wonderful breakfast. we ate in the local restaurant Mrs miller's and enjoyed our meal this was recommended by our hosts who where lovely people to deal with. we would definitely stay there again and I am quite picky about where I stay. we only stayed one night in the depths of winter but enjoyed it all the same.
nothing really. if you have allergies to dogs it might be a problem but they are quiet and happy and do not bother you.
Everything The Hosts, very accommodating and attentive, they go that extra mile, can't do enough for you. The breakfast is the best we've ever had The bed was very comfortable
Breakfast was wonderful! Walked with us to the edge of the village where we picked up our walking route for the day. Very kind and friendly.
Everything was as good as on our last visit a couple of years ago. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Amazing attention to detail everywhere. Very comfortable, and the best full breakfast anywhere. Many thanks, We will be back.
Noisy plumbing, but it did not disturb us.
The welcome; the breakfast; the home-made bread & jam; just about everything really...
One minor niggle; the bedroom has low ceilings and dangling lights; my husband is 6'2" and kept hitting his head on it. Easily fixed by replacing the shades with ones which sit flush to the ceiling.
This is one of the best B and B we've stayed in. Alex and Jeff are excellent and thoughtful hosts and from the welcoming tea and scones on arrival they showed attention to every detail in addressing our comfort. Every aspect of accommodation was luxurious and breakfasts were perfectly cooked.
Old house with great character tastefully refurbished to high standard. Warm welcome from owners with scones and tea, just what need after long journey. Very comfortable bedroom with massive bed. Quality toiletries, large soft towels and good size bath. Nothing too much trouble. Excellent.
Nothing. Enjoyed our stay immensely.
Very friendly and helpful couple with the best breakfast ever.
Alex and Jeff could not have done more for us. They made our visit a comfortable and friendly event and their local knowledge was invaluable. Highly recommended.
A fantastic welcome upon arrival with a treat of fresh coffee and homemade scones. Room was really lovely with a super bed which was so comfortable. Breakfast was fit for a king, nothing was too much trouble.
More off street parking availability.
Location is great for a break when travelling and also as a centre for local touring.Tea and Scones when we arrived. Glass of wine when we had settled in. Recommended dining. (go Friday Saturday for Mrs. Miller's). Breakfast was amazing. You won't need lunch.
Not realising the breakfast when we had arranged to meet friends for lunch!
Warm welcome, personal introduction to the facilities and excellent breakfast.
We had a fab time at laurel House Jeff & Alex gave us the most friendly welcome and the rooms are beautiful plus the breakfasts were massive!!!!! but brill, we will be going back. Honey & Bramble are just gorgeous and truly give you a lovely welcome.
The bedroom was luxurious the house and settings the same and bramble and holly added a little bit of homeliness
The owners dogs bed shower breakfast x
Very friendly and helpful hosts. Excellent advice about local restaurants for dinner, and booked this for us. Not cheap but worth it.
It was a very memorable stay. Alex and Jeff were very helpful and fantastic hosts.
A very friendly welcome and rooms that were clearly well thought-through and luxuriously finished.
Extremely accommodating, fantastic home made food and spotless! Would definitely recommend and can't wait to go back! Thanks for everything.
The welcome from Alex and Jeff who made us feel right at home straightaway. The breakfast was great...all fresh produce.I didn't think I would like sitting at one large table with other residents at breakfast but honestly it was a great idea and would be a perfect 'ice breaker' for overseas visitors. The bedroom room was extremely clean and the decor befitted the period house. The village was quaint and I recommend both the Tea Rooms and the local pub where we had a great meal .We have booked to return with friends in November so that is testament to our high regard for our stay.
the hospitality , cleanliness ,facilities and food were exceptional and could not be faulted friendliness and service were excellent exceptional value for money and it made a very pleasant change from the usual larger hotel chains I use for business
Facilities 10 out of 10 Breakfast was substantial. Recommmendation to Mrs Millers for evening dining must not be missed.
Breakfast was a bit fussy would of been easier and more efficent to place food ordered direct on to plate and created a less congested table where all the guests ate at the time. Would of prefered not eating at the same table as other guests for breakfast.
The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent, especially the home made scones and jam.
Great hospitality, wonderful breakfast, beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms. They could've do enough for you.
