The breakfast is brilliant the staff is lovely and the couple who own it are lovely we will not stay anywhere else in chester from now on
Breakfast was excellent with attentive service. Comfortable bed and crisp, clean linen. Will return next time we are visiting Chester. A very enjoyable stay...
Poor wifi...that was the only downside but we didn't go there to browse the internet.
warm and cosy bed and breakfast, immaculately clean, very comfortable room, lovely breakfast, really welcoming staff, what more do you want!!!!!
Everything exceeded my expectations. Luxury! Frederika provided not just a beautifully furnished room and a delicious breakfast, but many little extras, like luxury cookies and drinking chocolate on the tea tray, fresh flowers in the windows, and even a little pile of good books for light reading. She also directed me to a local shopping area just down the road, where I found a most excellent Indian Restaurant for an evening meal.
not joking. this was the best breakfast in a b and b I have ever had.
I honestly could not find fault with the b and b or the wonderful service.
we was made to feel very welcome. The accommodation was of a very high standard, and the breakfast gave a wide range of choice.
We had to come home.
Comfortable room with everything we needed and more. Close to enough to walk in to Chester. Plenty of options in the Hoole Road area to eat and drink without going in to town, the recommendation from the landlady for The Faulkner for our evening meal was spot on, the food was delicious!
Only one minor downside we could mention is the compact car park it was a bit of a tight squeeze when all the spaces were filled.
Bathroom Breakfast Location
Limited parking- on road parking is on very busy street Lack of flexibility for breakfast times - breakfast served 0830-0900
Just about everything was as good as you could wish for
If I must be picky then if you have a very big car , parking on site is tight. Even then there is ample street parking opposite.
the internet speed was low
Friendly staff good facilities
Friendly, welcoming, service was excellent, room was spotless, cosy and home from home. Reccomend without hesitationno
Attractive garden rooms--quiet. Good breakfast.
Rooms were smallish and very warm--no opening window other than velux which would have let rain in.
Our stay at Lavender Lodge was much better than expected. The room was clean, bed comfortable and the staff very kind and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and we got a late check out too , would definitely go back and would highly recommend .
The newly refurbished bathroom and a super breakfast.
The newly done bathroom made the room decoration look a bit tired, pity both were not done at the same time. The room was very hot and road noise was a problem when the window was open.
Location, nice room with en suite modern shower, great breakfast.
As soon as you walk in the door you get a wonderful welcoming feeling. The house is well presented and clean. The breakfast is fantastic, with a generous serving of an English breakfast. We were able to walk into the city centre, it is an easy 15 minute walk. A local pub was recommended, the Faulkner, where the food was well presented, nice and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Lavender Lodge and would certainly stay here again, given the opportunity.
seemed very old fashioned. Very small dark bedroom with bed covers rather than a quilt. Just seemed very dated. Breakfast was 8.30 latest 9pm should have been more flexible. Seemed very expensive for an every day bed and breakfast.
Excellent staff and service. Breakfast very good
Weekend breakfast latest 9.15. Room too cluttered and too hot
The whole package Gordon bn229pg
Teddy. Nice little extra touches. Decor very attractive. Advice on where to eat-perfect. Communication great and and able to uplift our room earlyin the day. Travelling round England Lavender Lodge was the best so far. Thank you Lavender Lodge you are the best.
Excellent. Had a lovely stay and were made to feel very welcome.
Windows in bathroom in Lavender 2 should be able to open, room got very very hot after showers. Wifi didn't work at all. Bit annoying.
Excellent location, very friendly staff. Superb room, cleanliness second to none. Close to city centre. Lovely full English breakfast. Couldn't ask for more!
Very friendly staff, relaxed and efficient, keen to help in any way.
