She we com us with open armes. The location was great and the room was just the right amount of space. Would like to stay again.
Stayed for SitC and was only £10 taxi away from the venue.
The location was intimidating, especially for two young guys.
Nice place, clean and suitable for both individual visitors and families.
A little bit far from the underground station
The staff are friendly The guest are warm and friendly The rooms and facilities are superb. Easy location
The owner was a lovely lady. Everything was so clean and tidy, beautifully decorated and furnished. Lovely kitchen, sitting room & outside patio. We had a family room & it was a good size with two double beds, wardrobe, fridge, desk, chair, fan, T.V. towels, hairdryer & tea making facilities.
free to drink coffee and tea are available. full kitchen, you can cook. in general, its good place.
relatively far from the city center (around 30 minutes, using subway + bus).
very good value for money; very comfortable room ;bus stop and cheap stores very close to the location; I shall certainly come back
neighbourhood a bit scary but actually it's just made of poor people; they won't eat you! poor sound proof, it's up to your flat mates (education) to keep quiet
Very lovely house; clean and comfortable. Good kitchen staff allows us cook by our own. Take less than 3 minutes can find one large shop and 3 restaurants including a very delicious Chinese restaurant.
A little far from tube station; no AC makes 2nd floor hot during summer
Almost everything. The room was a great size and very comfortable. Lots of space for storage. Nice little kitchen and courtyard. Great modern and clean bathrooms.
The location is about a ten minute walk from the Seven Sisters underground station which is a fine distance, but the area doesn't feel the safest at night time. Also Seven Sisters is about 15 minutes from the city. But all things considered this place is a great value accommodation.
customer service,facility,room settings and decoration
Everything was fine. All very clean and new.Ideal for a short stay.
Wifi was a bit hit and miss
Staff and the house, clean, tidy, modern
Bathroom a bit small, no breakfast like cereal or fruit
It's a quiet and beutiful flat. First day, i went to a wrong place, Maggie waited me for 4 hours. She is so sweet staff
Very friendly staff and free use of excellent kitchen and lounge area. All very well presented, clean and customer friendly.
Poor tv reception on certain channels. Sometimes unable to watch bbc1 for example. I tried retuning, but no improvement. This problem wasn't important to us as we we didn't have much time to kill anyway, so we didn't bother reporting it at the time.
Cozy rooms, well working wi-fi/TV, good kitchen facilities, a great porch where you can work or have a beer, whichever the case.
Poor insulation between the walls, you can easily wake up to neighbors' walks/talks. As mentioned by others, the zone is not the best, but it seems more poor and run down then it does dangerous, so it's not that bad.
Very welcoming staff. Rooms were so clean, well presented and modern with everything we could need. A hotel like this in London for that price was actually quite exceptional and far nicer than some of the others I've stayed in. Probably better suited for younger couples though in my eyes
The location of the hotel was good for us, as we were seeing a concert in finsbury park which was a short tube ride away and the nearest tube station was a comfortable walking distance. Only downside was the streets were a bit rough, to the extent my girlfriend didn't feel comfortable walking late at night. A taxi from the tube was only £5 though and the taxi office im was right next door to the tube station.
the best place to stay for a budget traveller,
the rooms were nice and cosy, clean.etc. good kitchen, relatively low price
I didn't like the upper room (in the attic) it had low ceiling and we hit our heads couple of times, and the ladder to this room was extremely steep, the rooms are very small. I also didn't like the fact that you need to call in advance before you come as
Maggie was very friendly and helpful, she explained everything very well you would not get that service at any hotel. We will definitely be back and recommend you to our friends and family. Regards Ken
Great place to stay, really friendly, great room and comfortable bed.
Cleanliness of the rooms and installations. Stuff very friendly and helpful. A cosy double bed for a single room.
1. The location. I heard from friends that the area where the accommodations is alocated is one of the most unsafe areas in London. It was not convenient to get to the tube station. You should either walk 15min through an empty and a little scaring street or take a 15min bus. I chose to take to bus, but for the return I have much trouble to find the bus station to get back to the accommodation. There were no taxis on the way either. I was very scared because it was late at the night. Absolutely not recommendable for woman travelling alone or first-comers to London. 2. No soundproofing in the rooms. You can easily hear absolutely everything that happens outside your room. It was difficult for me to sleep the first night. Then I bought ear plugs the second day and I slept better the remaining time I was there. 3. No room cleaning service every day. The room is only cleaned after you leave. 4. The room and the bathrooms were very small.
The house is very nice, garden is amazing, everything very clean
room was small
Maybe a litlle bit out of the way (ten minutes' walk from Seven Sisters' tube station could be a very long way for some travellers), but the room and the toliets were clean + you had use of the kitchen and a nice veranda (with barbecue, if you enjoy grill). Wi-fi and a stereo with Iphone Docking station which was very helpful for people from Europe like me with a different plug for devices. Ah, and I was almost forgetting: lots of spare towels and a hair dryer (much appreciated) and boiler with coffee and tea in the room (and plenty more in the kitchen). The staff was friendly and even sent me a text to check if everything was fine before I checked-in.
The street was deserted after 8 PM (no shops or pubs) and I guess it could look a bit scary for some, but the area seemed quite safe to me.
Great accomodations, everything great and clean. The manager is 5 star. Just loved it. You have to walk a little from the underground station, but you have bus stops near the room.
The house was beautiful and very comfortable. I was happy to be there and would go back.
Some workers came by and I wasn't informed they would be there.
