Bathroom was amazing Individual style and comfort
No lift walking through trees on stairs as I have a walking disability
Unusual design of room with nice touches such as toiletries, dressing gown, fruit and mineral water. The wifi was good, the food was ok (curry night) although more choice would have been welcome
The receptionist on arrival was not friendly or particularly helpful, and the bed would have been great in the Flintstones!
Friendly and helpful staff. Large room and bathroom. Well-stocked with toiletries and hospitality tray. Curry night on Tuesdays in the restaurant. Good wi fi connection. Clean.
Too many sugary carbohydrates at breakfast not really suitable for diabetics
Very little after the treatment I received from the hotel manager.
The manager's attitude about wastage if he provided soy milk and soy yoghurt at breakfast. He told me soy milk was an acquired taste when I suggested it could be offered to other guests who might have an allergy or prefer it to cow's milk. He suggested I provide my own which I did at great inconvenience only to find my wake-up call was an hour late due to an error by Reception staff and I had to miss breakfast anyway! Considering the difference in cost of soy milk, I think 80p extra was a small price for the hotel to pay to encourage repeat business. I would not stay again nor recommend the hotel. The hotel manager was unwilling to compensate me at Booking.com's request. Commendably, Booking.com offered me their £10 booking fee as compensation. Of course, I will continue to use the Booking.com service as my poor experience with the hotel in no way reflects upon Booking.com or its staff who were extremely friendly and helpful.
STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT. WE REALLY ENJOYED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE PLACE. EVENING MEAL AND BREAKFAST WERE GREAT. MY DAUGHTER HELD HER 30TH BIRTHDAY PARTY .
NOTHING - APART FROM THE SAUSAGES AT BREAKFAST !
decor friendly staff breakfast large beds nice bathrooms
restaurant had set times which clashed with our 30th party at the same location so we could not eat our evening meal.
Amazing lovely hotel
The room was very comfortable and clean.
What a shame we weren't told there was a private party on, and we were unable to order food

Do room. Wing cold . Look at the weather and put heaters on in the morning
Wonderful rooms, good staff
Little out of town so you would have to plan traverl
Reasonable price. Nice room
On the evening I stayed there was a Christmas party and my room seemed to be directly above the band. You could feel, let alone hear the music until 1pm and then rowdy crowds dispersing for ages thereafter. I complained when the music started at about 8pm, but moving rooms was not possible. Complained to hotel in writing the next day and got a trite and smug reply saying they mentioned it (noise) in the booking.com "fine print" (not true - it just says hotel sometimes is "busy") and that they'd included reference in the booking confirmation that they sent me and that they would have cancelled at that point, even though I'd taken the non cancellable rate. All very unsatisfactory and I pointed out that they should be more honest in making clear BEFORE BOOKING that people who book their rooms on such nights have no chance of any sleep until the early hours of the morning.
Spacious room Water and fruit in room Cost of room
Poor and unwelcoming reception. A hello would have been nice. Instead what I got was a demand for payment, without any eye-contact. Poor breakfast arrangements meaning I didn't eat breakfast here either morning of my stay. Expectation of full payment for accommodation on arrival - but still able to charge items to room - inconsistent and annoying and not included in any booking information. Complete change in menu between nights 1 and two - from Asian based to European based. Bizarre! Quality of food was poor. I originally booked for four nights but only stayed for two - I was told on arrival that I would have to pay for two nights after making the early decision to cancel my booking due to the attitude displayed by the receptionist on my arrival.
This was my 2nd stay at the Lazaat and as last time the staff are lovely, food good and room spacious & comfortable.
TV remote did not work for me.
Have stayed here several times recently.always receive a warm welcome.rooms are large and the decor is lovely.we always dine in the restaurant and the food is to die for.the young gentleman who serves us is always very polite and attentive.will definitely be returning soon.
Only negative is that room 10is noisy.there is a generator or something outside which kicks in throughout the night which does wake us up
Room size and bed. Restaurant spacious.
More a conference and wedding venue than a working hotel. TV limited channels. Restaurant tired decor. Breakfast trying to be continental. Dinner about adequate. Better hotel value elsewhere locally.
The room was fantastic! Possibly the biggest bed I have ever seen. The huge bathroom with walk in shower. The desk area was ideal as I had booked the room to get some peace and quiet so that I could work. I liked the fact that the wardrobe, fridge, mini bar, kettle and trouser press were concealed behind a screen as well as the fact that there was a separate seat and table next to the window. The price - I had to double check I had read it right when I arrived considered the extremely high standard.
Good service ....rooms good .....sleep excellent
Food limited.....tea,coffee refills had been forgotten
I checked in on Sunday evening at arround 21.30h. The receptionist checked me in and I proceed to my room. after to have unpacked,so 15 minutes later I needed the use of the internet but needed a password. Came down to ask the receptionist the pass word and all was dark and locked up. Went back to my room and dailed the hotel phone number. After a few minutes a gentleman answerd and said , its direct access no need for passwords.I explained that that was not the case and I should switch my computer off and lock on again. Strange but ok I try it and no success Now its 22.00 hour and I ring the Hotel phone number again but not one picked up. As advertised on the website, Free internet available!!! On arrival no mention of a password I was told in the morning and where did the staff go?
Nice rooms, great decor, quiet, nice staff and nice food.
wi-fi was poor, continental breakfast only, location was a tad out the way
Poor Breakfast Poor lighting throughout
Poorly lit rooms, very thin walls! , no cooked breakfast.
Rooms excellent. Very good standard.
Food was not very nice. Did not appear to be freshly prepared. This was only concern as everything else excellent
Good food Helpful staff Nice quiet location close to local golf course. Easy access from local A-roads & motorway.
Friendly and professional staff, delicious food, best tasting curry I have had in years, fantastic decoration. Good attentional to detail in every regard. Highly recommend.
Nice peaceful hotel.
