The room and the view, and the attention to details, chocolate eggs on the breakfast table on Easter Sunday were a nice touch. General difficulty of Newquay parking.

Excellent location. Hosts very friendly, couldn't do enough to help us enjoy our stay. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Our room had a balcony which offered great views of the beach and sea. Breakfast started at 0915hrs which allowed us a lie in or early stroll before eating. Overall, really good. If I had to be really picky, the electric flushing toilet can be abit noisy.

Julie and Trevor were extremely welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful - great choice and great taste! the house is just beautiful and the view is amazing. The room we stayed in was lovely with a really comfortable bed. We had a great time the bathroom was very small which was fine for us but if you slightly bigger than average it may be more of a problem

We had a lovely 4night break at Lazy Waves. The position was excellent, overlooking the sea and 'the island'. Our room had a very comfy window seat which was great to sit on and watch the sea and the surfers. Although Newquay itself was full of youngsters on Stag/Hen celebrations, the b&b was great and a great central location to visit other villages and tourist places around Cornwall. Big thanks to Trevor for the lovely breakfasts, for loaning us blankets when we went to the outdoor Minack theatre ( a real must-do) and generally for answering all our many questions! Teresa & Keith

Location just off the main streets and 10 minutes walk from the station, 10 minutes walk to the bus station for days out and the town centre. Lovely view over Towan Bach, the Island and the harbour. Hosts Trevor and Julie made us welcome and the room was tasteful and comfortable. Reccomended.

From start to finish you were made to feel at home.Trevor & Julie were great hosts and very helpful. The room was topped up every day with essentials. Breakfast was excellent, really good start to the day. View from our room was really nice and romantic as we had the balcony room which overlooked the beach and surrounding area for miles. Thanks Tevor and Julie for a lovely stay.

Lazy Waves is in a wonderful quiet location with fantastic views over the bay but within easy walking distance of both the town centre and the bus station. Trevor and Julie, the owners and their family, were welcoming and couldn't have been more accommodating to our needs. Our room was spotless and luxurious and we would definitely go back again. We were unable to hire a car so toured the area on the local buses which gave us easy access to the countryside and an opportunity to see lots of other places of interest - Have bus pass will travel!! The bus service is excellent and convenient if you don't want to spend a lot of time driving. The drivers are all very helpful if you are not sure where you are going. All in all Newquay is a good base if you want to see North Cornwall and Lazy Waves is the best place to stay - we have already recommended it to several friends.

The location overlooking Newquay's Towan Beach is simply stunning, as well as being handy to the main Newquay shopping/entertainment centre. Our room was small but the view from our balcony enormous. Owners made us feel very welcome and the daily cooked breakfasts were just right.

The way you were made to feel welcomed, we had a txt from Julie just before we arrived telling us that our room was ready and asking for eta. Trevor, Julie's husband met us at the front door and was very polite and friendly without being too intrusive. Trevor showed us to our room and offered to carry our luggage.we were then left alone to settle in and start the beginning of our break. The hotel is immacalulate and is all down to Trevor and Julie's hard work and dedication nothing is too much for them and they certainly know how to be of help with being pushy. The last morning of our stay I was not feeling well and Trevor went out of his way to make sure that I had a choice of something light to eat if I so wanted. A truly lovely place to spend a holiday or just a short break with breath taking views.Wil be back and wil be booking a room for my son and his partner to spend the weekend in September for his 30th birthday.

Trev and Julie's customer service was exceptional. They even sent a text asking what our eta was so that they could save a parking space. No request was too much for them. They were helpful, friendly and knowledgable of the area and where/where not to visit. It felt like you were part of their family. Accommodation was spotless and they had thought of everything an example of which is: blankets provded so that you could use them to sit on the balcony if the night was a tad chilly (nice touch). Spectacular views of the harbour. Breakfast was bountiful, yummy and set you up for the day. A great place to stay. Would highly recommend Lazy Waves as the place to stay in Newquay.

We loved everything about lazy waves. Trevor and Julie were so accomodating to every need, making sure we had a carpark, offering me vegetarian breakfast, and offering us advice about where in Cornwall to visit. The room (10) was beautiful, with lovely airy and light decor, quality bed linen and nice finishing touches incl flat screen tv and iPod docking station, not to mention the breathtaking views and sunsets from the room.
