Central location, ideal for theatres, restaurants and tube. Cosy feel to hotel Lovely breakfast
No dislikes at all
Location and breakfast
No near parking - no valet - very expensive and definitely not 5 star having to trudge along Picadilly carrying cases from nearest (not so) expensive car park,
I was left an up grade card on it stated I was able to obtain a late check out till 4 pm free When I called to request the above I was charhed
Large bed, plenty of tv channels, phone charging point, complimentary bottle if water for both guests
Being woken up early by a member if staff asking to check the contents of the fridge
Location was excellent. Reception and concierge were fantastic. Good sized room Comfortable beds
Buffet breakfast was lacking the full choice due to no one replacing finished items like sausage, fruit and pastries. Hot buffet was nearly cold. Bacon wasn't cooked. Art of good customer service is to be attentive to needs but not pushy. Waited too long for hot drinks or any refills. Tables not cleared between course's. No room on table. ..
beds were good and comfortable concierge very kind and attentive
bathrooms too small as were the bedrooms, ok for one person but not for two
The fact we could walk any where from Christmas shopping on Oxford street and winter wonderland Spa a bit if a disappointment as was being refurbished at the time and changing area poor. Also it should be noted children have to be 16 to use the gym. Breakfast buffet was fantastic for adults and children alike.
Spa a disappointment to the previous time when we stayed when it was managed by Champneys. It felt like luxurious previously with gowns and a juice bar to relax in. This time it was really just a swim as our daughter unable to use gym at age 14
Needs upgrading , no top class restaraunt, poor reception area no wow factor as you enter , and as we remember oak room rst , closed !,, Sunday lunch rowdy and overcrowded !
Very good location of the hotel Good beds Quiet rooms
Breakfast was expensive and poor Expensive hotel
Location: Clean & Smart
Restaurant menu and service not up to expected 5 star level. Our experience at dinner was very poor: We arrived at booked 19:00 & our order was taken for mains 10mins later. (No starter wanted). Although we spoke to the waiter twice we didn't get the meal until an hour later and then the vegetables were not cooked properly. Complimentary beer and desert was offered but we were so upset that we left just not worth it.
No free wifi in rooms Antiquated wired internet in rooms at £20 per day!! Snooty, inefficient and unhelpful staff Generally complacent and relying on the great location for custom
Offered a room overlooking a bar with a huge party going on. I was so close I could have served drinks from my minibar. Not what I was looking for at 10p.m. after a long flight. Did manage to get the room changed but generally the hotel is very old and poor compared to some much better modern hotels all at a similar price. Surprising for an SPG member hotel. Overall, very poor experience.
Location is perfect, reception staff are kind and professional.
It needs a renovation. Breakfast at The Terrace is not what you´d expect from an hotel of this category.
Breakfast included and buffet is sufficient. Service can be quicker.
Bathrooms are a bit old. There are no shoehorns in the room.
I was woken up by a call from the front desk at 1:00am just for a stupid question "have you booked once or twice"... I applied the HRG membership at the front desk. The staff input my gender wrongly and I had to make several calls to fix it... The business center does not have a clear sign to guide you there. It is hidden underground in a very narrow place behind several doors. Looks like a ghost house. And no one was there when I got there...
I'm an spg member so I got a great service all the time with spg partners, close to tube station coffee shops resturantin everything the staffs are nice too
The room was much too cold no possibility to warm it up !!!
Excellent location I think the bar area was best downstairs prices were very expensive.apart from that it was good
I wish we were told that there was a private party going on in downstairs bar at night
The central location was perfect for the theatre and the Terrace Bar and Grill was outstanding - food and service.
An abrasive member of recptions staff - not a good start!
The location is really great and the staff very helpful especially the reception and the concierge .
The hotel a bet pricy for the serveces and facilities offered .
We call for water bottles and no one turned up . poor response on reception.
General presentation of the room and hotel in general was good
Room was unlucky next to a noisy ac unit
