Score from 392 reviews Superb
top class staff and location
no walk-in shower facilities and noise from extraneous sources eg voices from adjoining rooms and plumbing system were an issue
Location Sunday brunch
Room decor, furniture, carpet, curtains etc were old and scruffy for the room cost
Lovely hotel in an excellent location.
Room was right next to the elevator so sleeping was tough..
location and staff
Hotel needs a refurbishment, and is very expensive
The way in which my concerns were handled and the impression that they clearly wanted to make my stay perfect following a few shortcomings. Pool is lovely. Excellent concierge
Service in restaurant Having to keep asking for things to be replenished in restaurant at breakfast. Sometimes lack of attention to detail and staff working in disorganised manner.
Ideally positioned Great breakfast Complimentary wifi Kind staff.
Hard to find the way back down to the entrance when using the staircase! Unstable tables in the breakfast room.
The bed sheet was not changed for whole stay
Almost Every thing am disappointed
location overall staff service
not easy to park in front of hotel one concierge person was not friendly bathroom small check in takes too long and room ready too late non availability of power sockets next to bed (for phone/ipad etc )
Spa, the bar was nice and friendly staff
Not worth £250 a night. The rooms were pretty much basic and needed a refurb
Most staff very friendly Good amenities Location convenience
One concierge was very unhelpful, fortunately another was excellent in making up for his colleague's weakness Check in takes too long and waiting for room readiness too long as well
location facilities room size bed
the executive lounge offered much less in term of breakfast and beverages than equivalent hotels
Location. Beautiful room with large beautiful windows facing Piccadilly without any noise from the road. Lovely flower planted window boxes. Great AC. New sparkling and modern spa like bathroom. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Extremely polite and helpful staff, especially at front desk and terrace restaurant. Large closet with multiple drawers and storage.
My relatives were staying on the ninth floor in a suite that was large and well furnished for families with children. It was very spacious with two windowed bathrooms. The negative, the rooms were at the top of the hotel and felt isolated, it was as though they were in a completely different hotel and the rooms needed updating. They were very impressed with my room.
Bed was not the best and bathroom old and tiles not very clean- disappointing for a 5 star hotel.
The breakfast was excellent and the location is good. The concierge was very helpful.
Not as good as it was some years ago. On the Sunday evening there was no bar open after 10.30 so when we arrived back after a meal we had to go to our room and use the mini bar for a drink.
Location is very central indeed. Rooms are quite large
No view (air conditioning units from other apartments). Bathroom extremely poor indeed for a 5 star. Extras are extortionate and the whole place feels a bit like a money-trap.
Delicious breakfast in impressive dining rooms. Well appointed comfortable room; lovely bed and great pillows!
value for money. Too expensive.
Reception Staff were nice and efficient.
The view from our room
amazingly small rooms for the money
Property is in a great location - bar and public areas have clearly had money spent on them
The rooms are awful. I had forgotten that I had said I wouldn't stay there again but booked because location very handy. I have stayed there about 6 times and use Westin all over the world but never had anything that would resemble a good room. The "air conditioning" which makes a sound like a light aircraft taking it off when it bursts into life for about 30 seconds every half hour is better than any alarm clock at waking you up - sadly it does it all through the night.
bar was closed at 11p.m.
The entrance and welcome
The size of the room. Too small for the price
