If your travel budget will allow - swing for the Club Level - you will be greatly rewarded. The rooms are well appointed and enormous - not just by European/London standards but global standards; and that's saying something. Our Club room had two bathrooms. How lovely and luxurious it was not to preform the task of a shower rota! No applying makeup in someone else's steam! Fab. The King bed was a delight (and I judge all beds against industry leaders Marriott) with quality bedding and pillows. Staying at Club Level also gains you access to the Club Lounge where a sumptuous array of complimentary drinks (even alcohol!) and nibbles await you morning, afternoon tea time and cocktail time! I believe Club Level will actually save you money!

The Hotel was lovely and some of the rooms are being refurbished. The staff were very helpful especially the customer service manager nothing was to much trouble. The location was brilliant walking distance of the West End, The Ritz, and most shops, only a short taxi or tube ride to Selfridges it was that good we have booked to stay there again the end of this month. The location is the best thing about this hotel

Nice hotel, comfortable bed, excellent location. Lack of friendliness and information from the reception staff from the moment we checked in. Very expensive for what you got. Would only recommend for its location.

Nice hotel in a good situation in London We found the pool area v cold and the pool water. Was a shame as this was to be a part of our break. We didn't feel like staying around as it was miserable. We also didn't have any treatments because of the cold.

Our daughter booked the hotel for our 45 wedding aniversary. My husband has breathing problems, all the staff were marvelous so kind and considerate. The club lounge was easily accessible as was the bars, we had an excellent meal in the Terrace restaurant. The location was very good we had family come to join us, easy to get to any where in the city. We had a wonderful weekend thanks to everyone. Kathleen Poole.

Location. Bathroom facilities were very poor and dated. Reception staff were unwelcoming. Both bar and breakfast prices were too high I find it difficult to understand how this hotel can be classed as a 5 star hotel. It must be down to location.

Location was superb. Good supply of complimentary drinking water. Good laundry service, if pricey. Reasonable gym. Not really a 5 star hotel - how do they get qualified for this? The bar doesn't serve French wine - mostly South American wine, limited choice, too young at that - what sort of 5 star hotel doesn't have French wine? Need an upmarket reception instead of the tired thing they have. No Englishness.

The location. I found the service poor. The employees are not especially nice, once I called the front desk and it took at least ten rings before someone answered, The Internet service was terrible. No wifi, so had to sit at desk to use my computer instead of using it in bed. But the worst-- two of the four nights I was there I had to spend time on the phone explaining why the Internet isn't working. I think the plug leading into the wall is loose. Finally I was put on the hotel's wifi service and was OK after that. If you're going to charge for Internet, the Internet connection should work.

Location Unfortunately in Europe most hotels charge you for an internet connection but 20£ for 24 hours is a real rip-off...it should be a free service especially for that kind of hotel. The bathroom picture of the Classical Room does not match reality (no bath tub and furniture is older).

We got an upgrade to a family suite which was a good surprise. The beds were very comfortable, the location was perfect for siteseeing and whatever you want to do downtown, the room was big, and though the window overlooked a very busy street it proved soundproof. The staff were helpful and not obtrusive, we did not see the restaurant or the spa so we can't comment. The cleaning staff were very well-trained. The bathroom was slightly basic and too small, the toiletries were hardly impressive, the wifi or the cable are way to expensive. Can't such a luxury hotel offer free Internet? Otherwise it was fine and we were treated with full respect so the hotel did not ruin our short stay in London as some other hotels did in the past:)
