I loved the funkiness of it all - a 5 star boutigue hotel without the stuffiness that sometimes goes with this rating. We were so relaxed and felt very well looked after. Christian the hotel club manager personally escorted us to the VIP bar (nice touch). Food, cocktails and breky were top notch.

Only concern was the underfloor heating in the massive bathroom was a bit too hot for my toes.

I had a meal here a couple of years ago upstairs in Paris room and I loved it, the atmosphere was great. I booked it a day before I came and got a really good deal, the room lived up to my expectations it was fab. Breakfast was lovely too. The prices of the food were very reasonable . Would definetly come back again.

We knew there was a niteclub downstairs however the noise was too much the windows were shaking until 3am. We were staying the weekend of the Heineken Cup and they hiked up their Saturday night price for a double suite to £395 - this hotel was definitely not worth this and for this money I would have expected some sort of friendly response from the hotel staff when I voiced my concerned about the...

lively, modern, extremely comfortable rooms, classy. Excellent city centre location for all local attractions, friendly staff.

Breakfast was the only let down, poor portion sizes, too long to wait and the wrong order

The deco of the Paris room in general: very refined and inspiring. The very inviting and comfortable bed. The design of the shower head and the boudoir style of the bathroom. Micro-chip control lighting allowing different intensities of light. The plasma TV screen and choice of thematic dvds (nice touch).

We were initially assigned to the Dublin room which was unpleasant for two reasons: the green theme of the room which included green walls (I hated it, found it awful and it made me feel sick) and the fact that the shocking room was unmade (I had never encountered this before, and I would not have expected this to happen in a hotel of such a standard).

The room was lovely, superb design, the complimentary drinks were appreciated, the breakfast was of a good standard. All in, good value for money.

Noisy at night from local pubs/clubs although this was expected being so central in Edinburgh.

Our room (Los Angeles) was was situated close to a nightclub, so during the first night we heard a lot of basses. Several parts of our room (ventilation outlets etc.) have never been cleaned. You can watch a dvd (that's cool) but only on the tv in the living, and not from bed or the bath. The bath-TV didn't have a remote control.

I absolutely loved the suite we stayed in (Sydney), the theme was fantastic and the room was gorgeous!!!! Although I did leave my Dermalogica products in the bathroom, any chance they could be forwarded to me?????

Food & service were excellant.

Bar downstairs seems to be a very trendy place - the place to be! very loud. Music can be heard in rooms above until the early hours.
