Hotel was in a great position close to shops bars and resteraunts.also has plenty to offer within hotel itself would definatly go back to Le Monde.

I have stayed in alot of boutique hotels all over the world and just cant say that this hotel matches up, the 5 star experience falls way short..it is in need of a good revamp paint/carpets etc are all shoddy and old..lights didnt work, TV romote was broken, little things but in 5* you expect more.

Needs a revamp, lights broken, TV remote broken,chipped paint, room smelled of the kitchen below, which wasnt the 5* experience myself and my husband were looking for.

Lovely hotel, wonderful in every way with great attention to detail. One of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. Reception staff were great and really looked after me.

The standard of the room was very impressive. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Finally, the breakfast was absolutely wonderful.

Accommodating staff and management, best demonstrated by not charging me for a night's accommodation when I changed the booking to leave late in my second last day. I expected to pay but the management waived the fee.

Prompt easy check in/check out was great. Room was spacious and quiet. Pictures on internet were accurate. Very pleased with hotel, especially as we got a special rate, I probably wouldn't have paid the full rack rate though...

guest luggage just left in the corner of reception...was a little unsure if it would still be there when we returned for it...

it was incredibly noisy outside until 4 am when it began to rain, just had a couple of hours sleep until the bin wagon arrived outside at 8 am to remove the bottle bank, dreadful!! also, we had an issue during the evening which we reported to the night manager, who had an appalling attitude and was no help at all, would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good nights sleep and at £195 room only, I would have expected one!!!

Nice bed, nice atmosphere very god location.

I needed to borrow a converter for European to British electrical standard but they had none to borrow me. But I cold solve the problem with a walk to the nearby train station and buy one instead so it was not a major problem.

The staff are "priceless" and worked very efficiently and effectively in what can only be described as a very busy and popular establishment. The food and service were excellent and the ambience was fantastic with good sounds and a very aesthetically pleasing bar / restaurant!

The room was far too hot without any control over the temperature and it was also noisy due to the Disco on one of the adjacent floors. Overall value was only compromised by the aforementioned points.

The size of the room was huge, with 2 lcd screens plus 1 in the bathroom. The design of the bathroom with the shower was unique as well. I have never seen a design like it in a good way.

The plug in the bath wouldn't come out on it's own and appeared to be broken. You have to get a spoon underneath to get it out. I would like to have had a larger room service menu, which includes pizza. I didn't like the fact that there was no leisure facilities such as gym, jacuzzi, spa and swimming pool as other hotels offer this. The design of the hotel incorporates only has a bar/club rather than a regular lounge area that other hotels have.

We stayed in the Sydney room, attention to detail was amazing, snken bath was to die for !!! Highly recommend

You could hear the Shanghai nightclub below until about two am

Staff ok and polite

The hotel is very very noisy. It is above a nightclub so you will not sleep until after 3 am because of the noise
