Very comfortable, v clean rooms-clean seems to be a byword in the whole place Breakfast 50yards away sound odd but was nice and quirky and v nice staff there too Would go back- it's v clean, comfortable and central...not a 5* palace but does its job v well at reasonable cost...and the staff at top notch
It's a tad 'compact' but works fine I had a basement 'economy' room and the WC/shower pump was a bit disconcerting initially The room was also at sub street level-couldn't see out - but overall Saturday night noise wasn't really an issue for me but might be for v picky travellers
The staff were friendly and the place was neat and tidy.
Very noisy area, you will need more than ear plugs to sleep on a weekend.
location very clean
no restaurant no bar breakfast was at a deli nearby with limit on what you can have very small room
-Hotel in the city centre very close to the Piccadilly Station -Staff was very very nice and polite - The room wasn't big but enough and you have everything what you need I'll be back in Manchester soon and I will book this hotel again
Wifi was very very slow (in my room) but it wasn't a problem for me because I didn't need it much
breakfast was nice
Small rooms had to walk to a cafe for breakfast noise in the early hours from local clubs ( but should've realised when booking the close proximity to the clubs)
Loved the fact the hotel provided a balloon in the room on request.
Did not like: • stains on the wall • lumpy bed • wafer thin walls & doors. • how small the room actually were! • breakfast included... Not on site! Take a walk to find your breakfast! Given the night we had, we avoided!
Room 15, literally right on the street, and as the hotel is situated on a busy bar street I couldn't get to sleep until 3am because I felt like the punters were in my room with me! Far too loud.
Close to centre
Tiny rooms, Gay quarter of manchester so loads of noize at night Bo breakfast facilities, so in partnership with a cafe down the street, which is freezing! Need to ring the bell to enter the hotel... Frustrating. Woke up to pimps argueing with the guy next door, that the customer dodnmt pay enough... Stick to premier inn, or holiday inn, honestly not worth it.
Perfect for a short stay. Can't fault anything.
Great location, polite staff, and a comfortable, clean room. The breakfast was fantastic as the hotel have a deal with an outstanding deli close by.
The wi-fi was extremely unreliable.
Great location - only 10 minute walk from Piccadilly Station. Bed was very comfy. Staff were welcoming. Had a great sleep - dark room Superb breakfast in the nearby Olive Deli
We were in the basement and the water pump was loud each time you used the toilet and the shower. The extractor fan was needed to combat a bit of a smell.
The staff were extremely helpful when I had some pretty weird questions. Also was given a free bottle of wine when I checked in, which I was not expecting at all! Overall, a fantastic stay!
Don't stay here if you like early nights and quiet neighborhoods. It's not going to happen.
Location was good for central Manchester
Very small and cramped room and very small double bed. Very noisy from neighbouring rooms. No natural daylight not able to park outside even to drop off and had to go down the road for breakfast! Not really what I would expect for the money!
Warm, clean room.
Ground floor room on canal side, needs blind or net curtain as the curtains have to be drawn during the day as there is otherwise no privacy. A lot of noise from the pubs and clubs up until 03.00! Having to walk to a nearby deli for the breakfast that was included in the room price. Luckily it wasn't raining!
central location friendly staff, free muffin and the breakfast are good
i booked a double room but it turned out to be a bed slightly larger than single bed the room was very small, i hit the bed a few times. no writing desk so i cant do my work
Extremely small room Breakfast being down the road in a `greasy spoon'
Rooms were lovely and clean, Staff were friendly and welcoming Location is great, Wine on arrival. Overall, lovely hotel and we will be revisiting again soon.
Breakfast finished a little to early but other than that nothing atall can be faulted.
Staff were wonderful, very helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
Comfortable beds. Clean.
breakfast in a deli a few blocks away. Not so good. Did not open at 7 on saturday
Room was very small. Breakfast is off site - not made clear at time of booking.
The hotels in a prime location for pretty much everything, reasonable price for the one night, stupidly comfy bed - especially after a night on the tiles! Everything looked pristine on arrival, and the free wine and muffins were a great touch!
We stayed in room 1 and the toilet made a god awful noise every time you flushed the chain or ran the tap or had a shower! The walls were paper thin, I heard every single footstep that was took on the stairs, every word of the cleaners conversation... Not good if you've been out the night before yourself haha but don't be put off by these!!! The decor and the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness and the value and location all counteract these! When I'm back in Manchester I'll be booking again... Maybe just the luxury double this time ;) haha
Good friendly staff
We paid for a double bed,and we had 2 single beds pushed together which kept moving in the gap
Centre of Manchester Comfortable room Very helpful staff
Having to go out for meals.
The location of the hotel was ideal, close to Piccadilly and Oxford road which was what we were looking for. Inclusive breakfast is always a bonus. The night receptionist was always smiley and very helpful. The environment felt safe and secure.
unfortunately the cleanliness wasn't top notch (cobwebs, dust, light staining on the bedding). Breakfast wasn't served in the hotel (which really should be stated on the booking form) you have to go to a little deli down the road. The beds were a tad uncomfortable. Outside noise pollution was noticeable until 4am (admittedly being on canal street you expect noise from the nightclubs). Better ventilation/air con is probably needed as it does get hot and stuffy in the rooms.
