The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, the location could not have been better and the hotel was immaculate! My room was nice and quiet even though the hotel was only doors away from a busy nightclub. Perfect location for nightlife, shopping and eating yet strangely calm and quiet once inside. Would highly recommend this hotel
I can't think of one single thing to dislike about this hotel
Nice clean hotel
Room was next to the main door and was very noisy
Friendly staff, good location, good wi-fi.
The heating wouldn't go off in the room. The shower was very difficult to turn on and off. There are clubs all around the hotel so it was impossible to sleep with the window open and difficult with the window closed - the staff said they'd give us a quiet room, but I doubt there is such a thing.
Location. Welcoming to LGBT and in the Canal Street district
Tiny rooms Poorly fitted out
Good value for money. Very pleasant staff. Clean.
Breakfast was average. Rooms are small although well appointed.
Location for Canal St, and not much else.
This is not at hotel - it is room only. It is preying on its location right on Canal Street to charge ridiculous room rates which offer very poor value. The corridors are narrow and the rooms are tiny. Their "standard" rooms were fully booked so I opted for a "king". It was tiny, with a shower only, in a bathroom that steamed up very quickly. The wash hand basin didn't drain, and the room lighting is inadequate. On arrival at 4 the room was freezing so I turned the radiator on. It didn't work so I went to reception (no room phone) and asked. The receptionist said we turn it on "at certain times". He leaned over and flicked a switch on a remote heating control. Not what you expect for £170. Breakfast is done via voucher for Olives Deli 400 yards away, and the staff there could show Le Ville a thing or two about hospitality. So don't believe the hype about this being boutique - 3 little LED lights above the bed don't cut it! I felt completely ripped off.
Staff very friendly
No breakfast Sunday morning, told the cafe had not opened and would not until 9.30 am
Good staff, decor
Room smelled of drains on entry. WC pump of own and adjacent rooms running at night were disturbing
Wonderful hotel and room. Stayed with my wife for 2 nights. Amazing value for money. Remarkable experience with the staff. They never said a No or showed a face. From now, Le ville will be my first choice if I ever visit Manchester. So near to the Piccadilly station and City Centre. Lot of dining options around the Hotel too. Lovely experience.
Good quality of sleep, clean room, great location and very friendly staff
Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel convenient for Manchester Piccadilly.
The "mood" lighting which I couldn't switch off - ruined my sleep! Didn't realize significance of the location :)
Everything location staff room hotel was a great place to stay reconvened it to friends and family will book again soon
Nothing was out of place so answer to this question is I likeed all of it no complaints and can't say anything about dislikes as there was none
The staff were very welcoming, we were shown straight to our room even though we were early and offered an ice cold bottle of wine and chocolate muffins, a lovely touch! The location was excellent for dining out and nightlife. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and well equipped.
We had to walk to a rather uncomfortable deli around the corner for breakfast and only got the full English, no toast and marmalade to follow, nor juice or cereal to start. We weren't even offered a refill for our drinks. The hotel offered complimentary wi-fi which wouldn't connect
Excellent Staff who are warm and welcoming .Comfy bed in a compact warm room.
Excellent comfort and value for the money. The king size bed was incredbly comfy and I had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was included in the price and tasted great, nice variety of food available. The staff were very friendly and gave us a free muffin upon arival. We also recieved a loyality card which allows to stay a night free in the hotel after 5 stays. The location was great situated right in the heart of the gay village which is perfect if you're going out drinking. The room was also sound proof which meant sleep wasnt dusturbed by loud party goers outside. Altogether nothing bad to day about this place.
Everything is really bad... service. Facilities..hot .. noisy ...
Staff were friendly, wifi worked fine. Slap bang on canal street, and close to bars and restaurants.
Disappointed with the room size. Booked a deluxe king room (room 20), but it was tiny. A few stains/marks on wall and one on pillow case. A slight stale smell from pillow covers, and stale smell as you walk upstairs. We went the two mins walk for breakfast, the sausages were like bullets. Rest of brekkie was ok.
Cleanliness was good . Lovely to be given a bottle of wine for our anniversary. Location brill for railway and theatre and shops
Room was very small
If you want a night out on canal st, then you can't beat this for location! Other than that, spend your £110 on a bigger room somewhere nicer!
Tiniest room I've ever seen! Refurb clearly done on a budget, very cheap finish on everything. Old ripped towels in the bathroom! Travel lodge standard of room. I guess it's ok if you just need somewhere to lay your head. Don't expect anything special!
Booked for 2 nights, stayed for 3. Great location, fabulous staff, great find and would stay again. Loved the extra touches... Muffins on arrival
Was all good, no negatives
Friendly and supportive staff, nice room, good breakfast.
A bit too noisy because of the bars next door, but then I'm not a city dweller so not used to this.
The staff were very warming location is amazing for the night life and it was clean and welcoming
I liked everything
The staff The wine and muffins The room The location The piano bar next door
We liked how close it was to shopping and the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpfull the place was clean and tidy
Our room did not have any real natural light as the window faced a wall
