This is a small hotel located by the canal, very clean rooms, excellent service and nice staff. Would recommend anyone to stay there as the value is decent and not too expensive.
The rooms are small with limited space to move around. Breakfast area its not in the hotel facility, you got to walk out to a near by shop.
Stayed here during Pride and it's right where you need to be! Breakfasts via a nearby deli were excellent.
The electronic keys were not working during our stay but we were near reception so it wasn't too much of an inconvenience.
Sound proofed rooms
Everything was much better than I expected. I have stayed at hotels costing 4 times what this place cost and not had as good experience. I'll be staying here again.
The room was a bit too warm. But to be fair I do like my bedroom to be really cold.
Great location, friendly staff
Could hear every single word of our neighbours, room was super small
The WiFi was very fast and accessible at all times of the day. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly
The hotel is located right on Canal St - if you are a light sleeper request a room at the BACK of the hotel.
location professional staff super clean muffin on arrival!
shower wasn't good
Helpful staff, central location, convenient close parking. Nearby to restaurants. Included breakfast although off-site was excellent. Good value for money.
Minor maintenance issues. Very small room. Cleanliness fair.
Fab location and great price. Breakfast was included at Olive Deli across the road which was unexpected and very tasty.
Our key-card didn't work, apparently they were having problems with them. Was a bit of a pain having to get reception to open our room each time we needed to get in.
The Location was near town.Wifi connection was great.
My boyfriend and I had business meetings in Manchester. The room was too small. Very Noisy from outside. Cant sleep. No aircon. Asked for an exrra deskfan since it was too hot. And I had bed bugs bites in the morning. It was a horrible night. You have to walked outside the hotel for breakfast. Food was okey.
Everything. Staff made us feel like at home, rooms clean and comfortable. We will stay again in the future. Free muffins, wine and more. There is not a better hotel in Manchester. This is our new place
very nicely decorated, new, fresh and clean feel, great staff, very quiet and unique, room comes with full English breakfast, free and strong wifi. I will be staying in the future.
The reception team were fantastic. Brett, Carl and Marta thanks!
Clean, walking distance to shopping and downtown, affordable
Service was good and staff gave great directions for other locations and places to visit.
Staff very helpful, room very nice
Had to go out to get breakfast and only one choice for breakfast .
The location was fantastic, the staff very friendly and general impressions were great.
When having a shower I got burnt because a room nearby had flushed the toilet. The room was a lot smaller than expected. Good Hotel but did not have the WOW factor at all x
I liked staff-very helpful. I liked comfort of my bed.
Room 26 basically has no window...avoid. I didn't like breakfasts (quality, service) My bed sheets had the marks.... £100 per night should pay for new and fresh sheets. Cleaning staff never tired up my bed. Very poor TV Channel choice.
Location Friendliness of staff
Room on the small side
This hotel is in a great location in the centre of Manchester. It's in canal street so no traffic, lots of places to drink locally and a great buzz about the area. There's local parking or a short taxi ride from the train stations.
Nothing. I'll be back!
Friendly and helpful staff
Noisy fans in other rooms...couldn't have window open because of sreet noise. ..could have done with air conditioning
Outstanding staff service, lovely breakfasts
very small room, however served its purpose
I like very much that it was central to all the locations I wanted to visit. Its right on Canal Street but away from pavement tables so peaceful at night and five ten minutes from City Centre locations including Picadilly Train station so access to airport is excellent. The staff were very helpful, good natured and competent. Wifi was excellent so you can stay connected. The bed was very comfortable and had a large TV with all the main channels. Have no hestiation in reccommending this hotel. I stayed here from the 11th to 14th July for the Sparkle festival.
This is a toughie. It doesn't have a bar but there are no shortage of those on Canal Street and surrounding areas so that wasn't a problem. My room was small but decor very smart. If anything I would say I could have done with more storage space but equally I could have packed less!
Staff were relaxed and helpful. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was very good, despite a very short walk to a nearby deli to get it.
Double bed was barely bigger than a standard single - we both struggled to get to sleep in it. The view was a neighbouring building, about two feet away. Shower was lukewarm and the fitting was ready to come off the wall. The bathroom sink was so small that it was impossible to fill the kettle completely.
