Caroline has been an inn-keeper for many years and her experience shone through. Breakfasts were varied, fresh and well-prepared. She knows this beautiful and interesting area well and genuinely wanted her guests to enjoy it at its best.
Excellent Hostess, great good, great location, great facilities, great pets, what more could anyone say
Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable room. Friendly hostess with good knowledge of the local area to help tourists make the most of their visit.
We had a lovely twin room with a private bathroom next door; all very comfortable. The house was beautiful, the breakfasts delicious, the cats friendly , as was Jelly -bean the dog. Caroline was a mine of local information and made us very welcome.
traffic, potato harvest noise
easy access very clean good food
A lot of thought had gone into anticipating our every need. Guests were all given Ordance survey maps of the area with restaurants marked .
On a main road, but the house and garden were quiet and peaceful. Both were well designed and maintained.
Great host, most informative. Good was cooked beautifully and produce was of a high standard
Friendly, clean, tidy, and condusive to relaxing. Excellent choice of food for breakfast, and all good quality. I am a tall person but found lots of room throughout, which I found quite refreshing. The stairs are quite gentle too.
The building is very old, and while it is exceedngy comfortable, I have a small mobility issue and I found the bedroom floor sometimes a small challenge as they are uneven and have a slight slope.
A warm friendly welcome even from the dog:)
Very comfortable, nicely furnished. Lovely home made food at breakfast.
Lovely property in a good location for exploring the area. Caroline is very helpful maps etc provided.
Road is a bit close to property. Wifi did work when we visited but this was a one off we understand
It's a beautiful homely place and Caroline is a wonderful host. Great food. Lovely little village too.
Nothing! To put in context, keep in mind this is a beautiful old B&B not a Hilton. So expect creaky floorboards, leaning floors, pink duvets. But those things just make for a truly lovely experience.
loacation size property friendly atmosphere
Lovely room, house and garden, friendly and helpful host, excellent breakfast with ample choice, lots of useful info, books, maps about area.
Everything. The location was perfect and within easy reach of all towns and attractions. Was calm and relaxing.
Very friendly and welcoming. A great place to take our dog. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, breakfast first class.
No negatives. All really good.☺
Loved the room, common area and breakfast.
Wifi signal could have been stronger in my room. It was ok in the common areas.
It was fascinating to stay in this 16th Century Coach House. The owner Caroline has created a very comfortable and welcoming B&B and is very attentive to make sure your visit is everything you want it to be.
Very friendly welcome, Caroline's hospitality was good throughout my stay and made it a very pleasant one. Breakfast was lovely and I would love to return and stay again.
