Convenient location. Comfortable room. Pleasant staff. Nice breakfast.
facilities, food, staff
The royal suite was nice
The long corridors
Meals in the bar reasonable as were drink prices. Food at the wedding reception we attended was very good and the staff running the reception were excellent. All the staff in the hotel where pleasant and helpful
Had to pay £5 each for robes for the spar which was none refundable, every other spar we have been to had no charge.need toilet brushes in bathrooms
Country location but just minutes from the motorway system. comforatble
Thought it was overpriced at £112., breakfast should have been included in offered price of £92. The meal in the restaurant was ok, however the pork I had was quite dry. Bottle of prosecco also overpriced
The beautiful bar and spa facilities
Drink prices were a bit high.
The pool and steam room, sauna, jacuzzi.
Attitude of the staff. Not what I expected of a 4 star hotel. Booked for room only, but booked for breakfast on arrival when receptionist suggested it. Then told I wasn't entilled to breakfast as room only deal after I was shown to a table in the dining room the next morning. Not given an option to stay for breakfast
Excellent staff on reception. My Grandson was made to feel very special. Comfortable room with all facilities that we required. Great food in the bar, and lovely breakfast great variety.
Staff were very friendly, didn't try any food but prices were reasonable. Nice location but you would have to drive far out to find resturants if you decided to not eat at the hotel. Spa was fine, closed at 8. Jacuzzi could of been on till about 9 but overall was a nice stay and very friendly
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Afternoon tea was marvellous but I ordered six for four adults and two children and it goes way beyond your standard cream tea; finger sandwiches, cakes, scones, and mini desserts, plus tea or coffee (children had hot chocolate). Lovely start to Mum's birthday.
The facilities, polite and helpful staff, relaxing environment.
Very busy in afternoons with wedding receptions until very late
The room was spacious, clean with a comfortable bed and breakfast was good
The pub food in the evening was mediocre - a precessed cheese slice in teh burger was disappointing given the price.
Great facilities and location Waitresses and waiters excellent
Reception didn't,t even acknowledge your prescence. Most of the time, didn,t even greet you Definately need lessons in customer service
quiet. good location, excellent staff, great breakfast, spacious eating and drinking areas, very comfortable beds, lovely spacious rooms,
Staff Food Swimming pool Good parking Room layout for family room
The staff were great, hotel pub serves wonderful food (breakfast was also great) and the rooms were more than comfortable. Great for business trips.
Rooms a bit hot overnight
Liked the staff, liked the room, liked the hotel in general
Didn't like the food at our event. Breakfast was average and expensive!
Every member of staff contributed to the culture of making your stay the best it could be. We experienced friendly, helpful staff and observed others receiving the same attention and willingness to assist.
Nothing. I would happily return.
Too hot in the room and pillows are hard
Excellent staff - they were lovely, friendly and helpful
Very disappointed that this is advertised as 4 stars. The online photos of the rooms are deceptive. I has a very stained carpet. Very old 80s bathroom. Boiling hot room that made it impossible to sleep. Room rare should have been in the Premier Inn range of £50 per night and not £92.
golf facilities and the food in the main dining room very good
no bath or bath robes
The health club was excellent. The breakfast was varied although the bacon and sausages weren't great. The staff were friendly.
The base of our bed was broken therefore the mattress sunk to the middle meaning we hardly slept the first night... We complained but were told we couldn't move as they were fully booked but that someone would look... They did apparently put a topper on however this was of no help as the mattress was fine.. We ended up spending the second night on the mattress on the floor and slept just fine! However I do think we should have been offered discount because of this!
The pool and hot tub very relaxing
Breakfast was poor and expensive. With a spa hotel robes should be s standard not an expensive extra.
