Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food at dinner very good, breakfast was ok but nobody liked the sausages (burnt outside squidgy inside and too herby) Fresh fruit etc available which was a plus. There is parking but beware if you have mobility problems - so many steps to climb and also no lift inside.
Room felt very basic and dark. Cold floors with no rugs at sides of bed. Only 2 small towels. ...no bath towels and no hand towel. Shower had not been cleaned.
nice comfortable bed, good shower and bathroom. Very good for value for money for a Saturday night near Christmas
as residents, we expected to be able to carry on drinking when the bar closed but were told we had to wait for the non residents to leave. the night porter than grumpily condescended to get us a round of drinks but made it quite clear he wasn't happy to and that we could only have two rounds!
The friendly staff, nice room and facilities.
Instant coffee for breakfast. I arrived at 9:00 pm and they would not feed me because their kitchen was occupied feeding guests at functions in the hotel. Not nice after a 29 hour journey.
Great location, easy to access from Luton and a snap to get to train and bus station for further travel. Friendly pub style dining on the premises, and one can hang out after hours with a pint.
Large suitcase could be an issue to carry up the steep stairs...
Every member of staff was so helpful, made my stay so enjoyable.
friendly staff helpful would stay there again
I forgot to pickup my invoice phoned them next day ask them to email me an invoice its been 3 days now still not received it to get it refunded back from my works
Good selection of quality cooked food. Staff very helpful and always accommodating. The enclosed garden and patio area presents a pleasant setting to enjoy an evening meal and drink, particularly in the summer.
Breakfast not early enough to suit the business user.
Very comfortable bed, cooked breakfast excellent. Lovely hotel setting and can feel very relaxed.
The room was very small, shower and bathroom really far to small and shower dropped constantly keeping me awake. I would consider booking a double room if I stayed there again.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel looks nice and clean. Nice bar.
Squeeky floors. Could really hear the upstairs neighbours walking around and even talking. The bed is small and short with very thin pillows. Location is very close to Luton city Centre but the road to the hotel is full of large holes. The area (Luton) is terrible.
cant find anything i did not like
Location, free parking
Menu very poor
Situated in the downtown.
Bad WIFI coverage. Mirror separated from the washbasin.
Very nice hotel, nice welcome on arrival. All staff are pleasant. Ordered food from the restaurant and was brought up to the room with no hassle at all. Would highly recommend, especially one of the rooms with a Jacuzzi included.
Clean Good food Nice Staff Nice Rooms Nice Place
No Wifi in room, just not strong enough to reach the room. In room TV very limited stations, not all freeview stations
Breakfast ok! bar staff efficient
Know one answered intercom, and had to key in code to access room, do not know what would have happened if there was a fire. Banging of doors at night which were heavy, hardly got any sleep
The room was very nice
there was not a manned reception 24hrs, and no phone in the room.
Lovely hotel, our stay was excellent. Breakfast was so nice and such a surprise
Location good as near station
Room cold as heating didnt work
Staff were friendly but disorganised
The general areas were dimly lit, old fashioned decoration, and dirty. Our room was the most luxury room, and was decent but in our opinion it was grossly overpriced and not luxurious.
bar- / restaurant staff
shower only really badly working in my room. Complaints about were not taken seriously. Breakfast: no coffeemachine, no filter coffee, only instant coffee (Nescafé) Dusty, musty atmosphere
Closeness to town centre
Very small dark room...
Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of choice at breakfast whether wanting hot or cold food. Evening meals were cooked and presented very well, offers made it easier on the pocket. All in all a very pleasant stay
Friendly staff with a good knowledge of the surrounding area with regards to food and entertainment. Fresh towels given to us on arrival. Room was warm and cosy, small tv but adiquate for local tv channels.
Only real downside was that there was only a shower and no bath in our room. Air conditioning was fine once we had worked it out.
security and breakfast
Had an excellent stay
