Location - very close to the centre of Luton & the station. Management and staff are very helpful - an issue with my room on the first night was quickly sorted out to my complete satisfaction. Rooms are stylish. Traffic & rail noise in rooms at the front of the hotel. Narrow & potholed access road. My room (night 1) had no work desk - quickly sorted out my the management.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although in a superior room it was very small. We arrived late afternoon on a Sunday and the restuarant was closed.

The staff made me feel very welcome. I was working on a business project with a client and they made me a packed lunch (without charging anything extra), provided an excellent breakfast, helped me with car parking and provided a cheery welcome in the morning and at the end of the day! The Manager was particulary delightful - she couldn't have been more helpful! I don't think Luton has many attractions for the Traveller but if you have to go there for some other reason, then I would recommend this hotel!

Getting out of there. S-M-A-L-L bathroom - I took a family room out of interest as I was interested in coming back with my family to this hotel as I travel through Luton airport a lot on business. The bathroom for a family is MINUTE... really small - toilet practically against washbasin... and the room is really noisy because of several and I mean several cumbersome fire doors between the reception to your room. Which means it sounds like someone is trying to get into your room, very inconvenient when you're trying to sleep. It just kept going bang, bang, bang practically until the small hours. Very disappointing. Terrible nights sleep.

Original room adequate, maybe a bit small, but another bigger room found with better tv when I mentioned it - although the first room would have done fine really. The staff were very helpful in this respect and I had a comfortable stay, and slept in a very comfortable bed. The hotel has a personal touch, and is far better than some of the more 'corporate' places in respect of this. The breakfast was superb and very good value. Nice bar as well. I would certainly stay here again, and would recommend it to others. Luton was a bit noisy - trains and some loud drunks, but not the hotel's fault, and to be expected if you want a reasonably 'handy for the centre' hotel with rail access near a town centre.

Professional and friendly staff. A can do attitude, with nothing being too much trouble. Fantastic looking room, which was beautifully decorated and styled, with a beautiful free standing bath. It was well equipped with most of your daily needs. Breakfast room was well furnished, relaxed. The buffet and full english was a delight and we wanted for nothing. All the staff were, friendly, polite and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I felt the hotel was excellent value, welcoming, clean and comfortable, the rooms we had were very good as we had our children and the rooms connected and were private, I loved the period features and modern comfort and thought the breakfast was superb, I would be very happy to reccomend this hotel to anyone and will certainly go back there, we have also stayed at the Ramada and the icon and feel that the Leeside was the best by far in terms of good value and comfort. There were a few minor blemishes in the room, but nothing to detract from our stay, but the chairs in the breakfast room and too low making it a bit uncomfortable to eat, our children needed to kneel up to eat their breakfast.

I'd read some slightly negative reviews and approached with a little trepidation but I was surprised and delighted. I was upgraded to the Coach House Suite, an extraordinary room with a jacuzzi in the middle of the living space (Honest!) The tv was positioned so you could watch from the jacuzzi. I confess I didn't experiment with it, but still I felt I could pretend to be a sixties rock star for a day! The bed was comfortable and breakfast was seriously large. I won't forget the Leaside in a hurry!

Location for shopping and eating out was excellent. A short walk to the town centre. Clean room and hearty breakfast. Our room was a tad to warm even after switching heating off. Plastic cover on mattress, obviously think everyone is a bed wetter but makes the night uncomfortable especially when warm.

The staff were very helpfull and accommodating. We were impressed with our room and my elderly parents had, as requested, a ground floor room, which was more than adaquate. We would recommend this hotel. Just felt the menu was slightly restricted. But the food we had was good.

Rooms are very comfortable and well decorated/furnished. Bathroom area fantastic with free standing bath and separate wc/shower room. Very cosy restaurant and a decent bar. Ample parking. Breakfast selection was very good althought the full english wasn't the best, burnt and very thin toast, cold beans, all a bit bland but this is a minor issue. Everything else was great and I'd stay here again. As most floors are wood laminate you can hear people above you. Wifi is a little unpredictable and you may need to sit in the bar to work.
