We had a brilliant weekend in Scarborough.....despite the snow! The Leeway is a lovely hotel, spotlessly clean and the breakfast was great. The owners set it apart from other guest houses, they are friendly, helpful and good fun to spend time with. We have already booked again!

Alan and Jude were very accomadating, in fact they went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Our bedroom was very comfortable and clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The breakfast was hot, well cooked and varied (I had the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon...wonderful). We would happily recommend The Leeway (in fact we have already) and will be returning very soon. A gem of a place. Thanks both.

Very well situated, walking distance from the centre and all the main attractions. Great views from the room, a panoramic view of the North Bay including the historic Scarborough Castle. The owners were very friendly and very accommodating. The food was top notch, freshly made hot breakfasts served with fresh ground coffee! The room was really good, clean and cosy with fantastic facilities. All in all a top notch seaside bed and breakfast.

The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. They could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfasts were superb with plenty of choice, cooked to order and well presented. The bedroom was comfortable with good quality bedding, and feather and down pillows but it was a little small. the hotel was very close to Scarborough cricket ground and was convenient for the shops, restaurants and the front. Overall very good value for money.

An excellent hotel run by an extremely friendly couple, Alan and Jude, who could not do enough for you. The location was really good with a view over the North Bay and Castle and even though recovering from a knee operation it still only took me 10 minutes to walk into town. The full english breakfast was superb well cooked and presented and hot and together with choices of cereals, fruit, juices and breads as good if not better than that served in 4/5 star hotels. The room was very clean with a flat screen tv and a complementary tray with tea, coffee and water (I also had a sea view). When next in Scarborough the only place to stay is at the leeway. There was nothing to dislike about this hotel.

The hosts at the Leeway were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and they made you feel welcome. The room was spotless with lovely comfy pillows and fab shower in the ensuite. Breakfast was great with loads of choice which could be made in the morning and not the night before like some places. Throughly enjoyed it and would recommend it.
