Staff were very friendly, the room was clean and it was nice and warm. The cooked breakfast was pretty awful! The scrambled eggs were tastless, the mushrooms out of a tin, and the "sausage" was the cheapest ever. |

Very friendly helpful staff who remembered our names. The huge beds. Level of facilities in room. Level of help given to find university and in arranging early breakfast for our daughter who was attending a university interview. Lack of a spa (only kidding!) Regarding two questions below - have already recommended hotel to staff at my school & my brother. Did not look at reviews on website, so cannot answer either way. |

The receptionist and waitress were kind, welcoming and charming and clearly embarassed by the shortcomings of the hotel The website failed to inform of the unreadiness to receive guests due to change of management. The manager was rude. The layout was quite unsuitable for a disabled guest. |

Reception staff were most helpful and friendly. I have stayed in many hotels and found the staff at Cardiff to be relaxed and appropriately informal. it was a pleasure dealling with them. |

There is no meal you can book although the web site said so and quoted £19 which is less than a 3 course meal will cost. Limited menu |

Near to motorway, but no noise problems. Friendliness and helpful staff. Reasonable size room and god facilities. Bar was not open due to being refurbished so no drinks available, (not impossible to have cans or bottles surely?) heating too low, particularly reception area. Price reasonable. |

Very helpful staff on reception and in the restaurant. The hotel was without a drinks license but this was only temporary as there has been a change of ownership. Additional cost for using a credit card |

The decor and cleanliness of the bedroom and how clean and up-to-date the bathroom was, plus an excellent shower. Breakfast buffet was very good. Bar was not open for alcholic drinks. However, I heard this will soon be rectified. |

Breakfast was okay, room was quite clean, fairly quiet location, had a wake up call on itme Staff were slow to book me in and I didn't appear to have a room ready, I expected a double room and was given a single, the 2 receptionists were ignorant; I had to ask them if they were going to help me. Most disappointing given this was supposed to be treat. |

staff especially reception very helpful. The hotel did not have a liquor license which we should have been told before booking as we were unable to have wine with our meal.Breakfast was acceptable but not good-concentrated orange juice and watery scrambled egg. breakfast not the best. |
