A good standard of hotel in a superb location, quiet yet walking distance from the city centre representing exellent value. Our stay was let down by the poor quality of food in the restaurant (breakfast was fine). We had dinner on our first night but did not risk it thereafter. |

The ambience of the hotel, it had an old world feeling, yet the accommodation was modern and relaxing. Overlooking the Avon River and seeing the Salisbury Cathedral spite in the background was beautiful,,,,and the area was quiet. We didn't check other reviews on the net. |

Wow! Huge rooms, cool old building, great garden, super breakfast, good parking, short walk to city center. Would stay there again without question if ever at Salisbury again! |

Check in was poor. We arrived at 1 pm and were told check in was at 2 by a curt receptionist. When we returned at 2, we waited another 2 hours before they finally had the room ready. Although the included breakfast was very nice, the restaurant and pub were very expensive and very empty. Check out the Grayfisher pub around the corner. The room has some mold and spider webs along with the critters that weave them and clean tea cups would have been nice. Location near Salisbury Cathedral is the big plus. |

Delightful former 13th century coaching inn located within easy walking distance to Salisbury Cathedral and the town centre. Beautiful dining area overlooking the river and excellent breakfast. |

it's location. some very friendly staff. access to outside from room. am sure inside rooms were very nice as in older part of building although did not see. bar food was cold. breakfast was nicely done but greasy, the resturant staff looked pushed and flustered. table cloth grubby as 2nd to be sat there that morning. didn't like being told where to sit and squeezed in to suit staff, literally squeezed. room cold/dampish |

The hotel is in a very old building in typical Tudor style. There is a newer and older part and we stayed in the older part which we woul recommend. The rooms there are also in Tudor style. This makes staying in this hotel a special experience. The hotel is in walking distance from the city centre and has a reasonably good restaurant and bar area where you can have food as well. Good parking facilities. |

Lovely river bank location with view of Cathedral. Easy walking distance from town. No parking available on arrival and unhelpful attitude of reception staff. Lack of internet access in room. |

The position beside the river was delightful. The hotel was very quiet though it was so near the town centre. We asked for ground floor rooms but were on the first floor. We had a 93 year old mother with us. |

This elegant, Georgian, city-centre hotel with pillared portico has been the citys finest hotel for over 400 years. The majestic cathedral is within walking distance. |
Grasmere House is just a short walk from Salisbury and offers superb cathedral views. The fine Victorian house is situated on the banks of the rivers Avon and Nadder, and surrounded by mature gardens. |
In a 15th-century merchant house, this affordable lodge provides comfortable accommodation in an excellent location in Salisbury, a cathedral city in Wiltshire. |
A mile from Salisbury city centre, this 4-star (AA) B&B is in its own beautiful gardens, well situated on the A36 for Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral, Old Sarum and Longleat. |
