Food was very good.
Rooms were very hot, one extremely so but this could have been due to unusually mild weather. Ensuite clean but tired looking with poor shower.
Stayed two night and all the friendly Staff, Excellent Food, & Spa facilities. We had a relaxing visit. We will be returning again soon and would reccommend this hotel.
The decor needs updating. Tv needs replacinging on got two cheannels.
Disappointing breakfast in view of the price. Very limited cereals (cornflakes, bran flakes, weetabix) and cooked breakfast looked less than appetising, especially the scrambled eggs. Poor wifi - the only room that seemed to access this was locked on the morning we were there.
Spa. breakfast. grounds.
Wi fi pathetic. Doors banging in the middle of the night. Very noisy central heating. Noise from shower in room above was like an elephant pissing into a biscuit tin in early hours of the morning
Staff very friendly and went the extra mile.
Half the hotel had no TV channels ( for an upgrade surcharge I was moved to a room with all TV channels). Many of the rooms and hallways really need sprucing up. Areas are looking dated sadly.
Location very good.
The room we were allocated very poor and in need of refurbishment. Mould in bathroom and no shower curtain. Definitely not worth the money compared with other hotels we have used via your site.
The décor is a little dated. The interior needs an uplift.
Rooms in original part of hotel clean but need refurbishment.
Room / Bar / Location.
Restaurant was very pricey and very small portions. Bar Food much better value.
Reception was modern
Rooms in need of renovation: very dated Food was cold in restaurant Very expensive for what it was
Size of room, and what supplied was in room ok. Couldn't get TV to work though, as no guide.
Shower dirty, with curtain not fitting in bath so water everywhere. Beds too small for 6ft plus guests, and the bedcovers not adequate either. Please state size of beds in information, as a guide.
Nice staff . Good food . Nice location and facilities
Noisy fan in room and not the comfiest bed in the world combined to make sleep difficult .
Quietness, and when the spa was open it was good but had sand in the bottom?
Bathroom needed tiles grouting and there was black mould behind the shower curtain. SPA closed at 8pm...... Breakfast was hardly hot and a bit greasy! In the Welcome pack were told to dress smart casual for supper, a bit unessesary !
We enjoyed our stay again as we find the staff friendly and helpful when needed. I booked the stay again as it was for my boyfriends birthday. Food excellent as I remembered! Loved the breakfast too, help yourself. Much better than the menu breakfast! See you again!
Firstly we got a room what was in the old part, could do with a restyle, also smell not pleasant. Asked for another room so looked at another room and was much better, much more cosy!! Enjoyed my stay!!
Location near to city centre. Comfortable bed.
Dated and peeling wallpaper in room which was in the older part of the hotel. The newer part where our friends were moved to after a problem with their room was much better. All rooms in the hotel need to be up to this standard. Room cleanliness was also an issue )mould in corner of ceiling and around window). Internet access poor.
Dirty, unfriendly staff, noisy aircon, not 'luxury', expensive
stayed here several times, like the hydrotherpy pool, and the location and plenty of parking
when we stayed last year, they had run out of draught beer, and no beer on this stay as well only larger
Good location and car park.
Dirty towels (full of make up).
Excellent location for touring N. Wales
The location was superb. The was clean and the bed very comfortable.
The room was too hot. You could not open the window due to refrigeration/heater motors running all night. Internet connection not available in rooms.
Most of the staff were Welsh-speaking and very friendly.
the hotel was fabulous, food was good, rooms were clean and spacious.
Spa booking was messed up and that meant the whole trip was spoilt. which was a shame as it was a birthday surprise.
The location, good value for money, drinks not over priced, cosy spa, quietness of the room, good food.
Comfortable room and excellent food.
Unfriendly welcome - all other staff - including other receptionists - very friendly and accommodating.
